G'day. I've watched numerous vids on just about every truck & American ute build. This walk around is by far the most informative of any vid I've watched. No point in me going into detail about what I liked, found interesting... you covered just about everything. Well done & thanks.
Hey mate. By far the best rig run down I’ve watched. Hope to catch up with you guys on the road sometime. Probably the the only legit family to watch out of the hundreds of you tubers at the moment.
Awesome well thought out setup, you only get one turn at life and the memories you creating with your kids is more than dollar value of the truck, who cares about the little details in the long run, and there’s nothing wrong a great looking truck either
Simplicity, looks and right tool for the job 👀🚛👍 The array of 240v appliances is not for me but I appreciate this is a house on wheels supporting a big family full time.
Mate great rundown I like your no bullshit attitude and who gives a flick on what your opinion or how you go about things I’m the same. We’ve been traveling for five years and it’s been great all adventures we’ve had getting to where we are going, in Perth working for a bit it would be nice to run into when your over here. Always great videos. Cheers
There are serious big bad flying bugs at night not common known , called them vampire beetles Bull dust Roper river sides Wild cat oil field drilling Rockdril NT. . there are some serious remote spots Oz . . still to be explored . . trust me
Awesome run-down, thanks for this. With the compressors I had the same issue with mine and it ended up being the small fan inside where the wires were not crimped properly. The compressors are made by HO aircompressors in China for half the price through ali.... the kitchen hight is a big winner over the US trucks. There is no perfect rig but this comes close. Glad to hear about the ride quality. Have fun
Thanks for watching. Yeah I’m unsure of the problem I’m having. But I definitely don’t want to be giving people wrong information on products. So I’m just careful what I recommend Tray height on these is amazing.
Love the Rig!! I would have a little different setup. But! as you have said perfectly and hit the nail on the head! Is set up for you and your family needs. Great job and thanks for the rundown ❤
I’ve always loved the Isuzu’s. One of my dreams is to travel Australia in a prime mover. If that is not achievable then an Isuzu is. Bloody beauty of a truck mate.
Nice truck (so many toys) and home!!!!! This video is for those days when you want to stay at home few beers & chips, better than Netflix :) Greetings from Coruña, Galicia, Spain!!!!!!!!!!! I will follow your adventures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for share!!!!!!!
great vid. I appreciate your honesty a lot. Not being branded is unique nowadays. As for the rig, awesome! Big family, big boy, big toys / tools. I only started following you recently, and I already want to catch up for a beer lol. I'm stuck in the city (construction sector also) and take the ute and a 19ft caravan out as much as we can, we are also off-grid capable with both ute and van. Yeeew
Brilliant video, the way you explained everything. The best rundown I have seen. Also that has to to be the best fit out I have watched. Can't the gearbox be driven as a manual, I find that helps a lot. Thanks again, safe travels, may catch up somewhere around this great country.
Thanks for the honesty on the winch. We were going down the sherpa road, and now that's a pause. We are only in build, so no panic for time. You're hard on gear and (me too) so love this no-fluff review.
Thanks for the tour, looks bloody nice. Since the "Big Oz Explorers" stopped doing there thing and went into Zone RV I reckon you and your family vid's are one of the best if not the best to view, so thanks for that cause I really like watching these type of video's, cheers and keep it up. 👍
Great review guys, we are hoping to get out there on the road in something similar within the next 12 months. Met with Stuart at ATW a few weeks ago to work out what we are going with on our setup, they do an awesome job. Love the GCI Traytec Canopy, first decent review I have seen on one of their canopies for the Isuzu. Enjoy your travels, I will keep watching :)
Wow talk about the Swiss army knife of off-roading 😱 You have everything that opens and shuts, and then some, yet nothing is cluttered. Looks neat clean and practical. 👍👍

I have a new 45 155 npr manual, would not pull top gear, i had it dynotuned for about 2k, now it is the truck it should have been, drive top gear everywhere and 10 to 15% less diesel. it is a must do on the 5.2l as it is in its lowest state of tune in a 155 truck.
Love the videos guys. We looked really closely at the Isuzu trucks but went with a Silverado 2500 instead for our own reasons and don’t regret it one bit but to compare our needs and want to someone else’s is silly so I love your view on things.
Hiya mate, I'm a regular watcher, just tolet you know that currently there are no NPS Trucks available as Izusu ate up grading this model. Yes I am looking at getting a manual as you advised. Cant wait to see what they have next year in 2025!!

Hey just saw your bottle Jack under the back seat, couldn't see if it was secured to the floor, but if not I would certainly tie it down, you don't want it coming loose in a roll over. Just a thought. Love your vids.
Awesome rig, love everything about it. The memories you're creating with your family will last a lifetime. Safe travels mate. Btw those flies were bothering me just watching. Lol
Most interesting, But I am left to wonder why you don't carry/use a sand anchor, That, buried in front of your truck. on your video in the Simpson desert would have been so easy to get yourselves out, even digging a hole to set it, would be easier than the 'landscaping" you did. But the thing I am interested in, is you are only running a 2Kw inverter and 200 amp hour batteries in the truck, yet you have a microwave, that doesn't work that well, (think you said) an induction cooker. and you run air-con in the van, how long can you run that for? or do you have a generator as well. I just want to know because we are about to hit the road in NZ for our caravan retirement cruse. and basically I am trying to find if we are set up well enough, or what else we may need to change in our setup. Love your Videos, looking forward to the next one.
Just found and subscribed to your channel. I love you rig. I tow with an 2000 International 4700 mid duty flat bed. I put my Suzuki Grand Vitara on the flat bed and tow a 26 foot off road travel trailer ( yes I am in the US). I have two issues with my set up. 1, the truck is two wheel drive, 2 it is long. ( it takes 39 acres to turn it around). I am looking forward to your adventures.
Cartwrights, I am a fan of your setup. I like the four-door cab and low roof. Looks sweet. Is a hydrostatic-powered winch a viable option instead of electric? They are usually found on military vehicles. at time 34:20 the 'don't be dumb....' magnet is there and then it is removed at 34:27. I like it. Leave it there. There is no wasted space with a hooded engine in front of a cab. I like the cab over design. I am a fan of the US Army LMTV 1095 (3 axle) or the 1078 (2 axle) that some overlanders use.
Haha. Very keen eye!! The overlay was actually shot a couple of weeks AFTER we shot the main video. And the sticker was purchased within ghat time..so the sticker was visible in that footage and not visible in the footage where he is talking. You will be pleased to know, the sticker is still actually there 😆😎
Awesome effort guys. Would not have been a pleasant mission at all. Watched your vid and last 5mins saw you had a rear winch. Ive used a rear winch to move forward before. Stuck in a river bed in a unimog. Ran the cable under the diffs and worked a treat. Did this in NZDF year's ago training but seriously stuck. Nice job you two.
I would worry about the cable sawing through the axles or the cable getting cut on a sharp edge, cables cut through amazingly easily. Also, pulling from the wrong end is unstable, I once had to pull a trailer up a short gentle slope hitched on the wrong end & it took 6 heavy blokes to hold it straight despite pulling really gently. If you've got enough fairleads to guide the cable through that's fair enough but without? I wouldn't want to trust my life to it.
I wouldn't trust a Ram in this country - Elnick Adventures recovered one with their Isuzu NPS in a recent video of theirs, that had broken down on the Googs Track. Most other 4WD wouldn't be able to do that.
great build.. yeah i understand you with the amt. for terrain you would like a manual where you can control the revs with precision to get unstuck or not get stuck. same problem automatics got when driving in snow or on ice is its hard to control the power you put down to the wheels. question.. how much got destroyed when it got stuck in that mud. only axles or did it bring some nasty expensive surprise like transfer case or something ??
Love the truck...seriously love the kitchen set up. I like the garage area....Hmmm, I wonder if a full size trail bike could fit...needs a higher ceiling. I would go for the truck as opposed to a RAM or other vehicle, due to its durability, and GVM.
Yeah mate. Pretty much the reasons I picked the truck. If you took the back canopy off and just had one canopy, you could put the bike in the tray section ✌️
New subscriber from UK... spent ten years in QLD... Love this video... Loved it all... HOWEVER... can i ask about your first aid kit, it seemed to me that your first aid is just thrown in, in a box with little thought... Truly love everything your doing but please, with all them children raise the level of priority of the first aid gear and access, time is critical, not just for the kids but for you as without you, the children will be at risk... Like I say love it keep on going. Per Ardua.
A most excellent set up. The point is it works for you. But its just a tool. The way your family live your life is the best thing. Those kids will have a special childhood and it will shape them fir life. Drive safe, happy travels 👍
Hello from Wisconsin, USA. Really enjoyed the tour. Thinking about an Isuzu with 4x4 conversion to replace my 4x4 Sprinter. For Over-landing in the US, Canada and Mexico I’m considering the small block GM gas engine for simplicity and fuel availability. I liked Mitsubishi-Fuso but they are pulling out of the States. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Awesome, You guys are killing it! both with the setup and production quality of the content. Thanks for the honest review on all your gear. We will definitely be staying away from the sherpa winches, have heard way too many stories about them failing now. just a quick question what compressor is that you have swapped to now? I didn't catch the name and I don't think I've see that one around. Keep up the good work, you guys are gonna blow up!
I have often wondered why more people don't use the Isuzu platform. Most overland vehicles wannabe's seem to obsess with trying to find Mitsubishi Fuso. Do you know why? Is it better? New ones aren't available in the US so an Isuzu seems like a great option. You touched a bit on the Isuzu power, or lack of. Milage? The fancy American touring trucks you mentioned are great and comfy, but the milage is awful (worse than yours). You do a video centered on the Isuzu truck and what models choices there are? I love all the outdoor cooking options you have, that is not common in the states. Great job mate! All the best to you and your family. (sorry, you answered some of these questions at the end, I'm inpatient).

I wouldn't trust a Ram in this country - Elnick Adventures recovered one with their Isuzu NPS in a recent video of theirs, that had broken down on the Googs Track. Most other 4WD wouldn't be able to do that.
You know how reliable a. Cummins is 😂
We tell elnick they should have bloody pulled me out of the binns
Wrightsville Beach, NC, USA checked in. Great family!
great build.. yeah i understand you with the amt. for terrain you would like a manual where you can control the revs with precision to get unstuck or not get stuck. same problem automatics got when driving in snow or on ice is its hard to control the power you put down to the wheels.
question.. how much got destroyed when it got stuck in that mud. only axles or did it bring some nasty expensive surprise like transfer case or something ??
Great stuff, excellent editing, keep up the good stuff. From DeLeon Texas!
Cheers Deleon from Australia
Awesome review. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Cheers mate
Great content & information on your amazing truck & what adventures wishing you all well from western Scotland 🎉
Per Ardua.
Bloody awesome 👌 we have a supreme base camp & ranger. Have been travelling Oz since 2012 loving it all. Nice family mate. Rock on 🤘 ❤
Nice 👍 that’s a long time travelling!! Good work
Friend, the flying insects 🪰 in your video flew to me. I'm sitting here waving them off, too 😅. But I'm watching your video in northern Thailand 🌴.
A most excellent set up.
The point is it works for you.
But its just a tool. The way your family live your life is the best thing. Those kids will have a special childhood and it will shape them fir life.
Drive safe, happy travels 👍
Thank you for watching. I think your spot on 👌
Hello from Wisconsin, USA.
It’s a good choice. Good luck with It all
Awesome, You guys are killing it! both with the setup and production quality of the content.
I don't think it's named at 8:50 & I don't see a label. I don't recognize it either.
Thank you for a brilliant informative video we have a VW T6 that we can only use at the weekends but I wish we could live like you do Love ❤ from 🇬🇧
Thank you
No TV? Excellent!
Hi awesome video info , may I no what model was the truck compressor as I may have missed name of manufacture , love the videos
Hey mate. It’s an oasis air from the US.
hello. I saw a really cool camping truck. I wish there was a culture of camping with trucks in Korea too.
Start the culture 😊
Great rubdown. What do you use for front recovery points?
