Guys..just so you all know...our front winch was broken 🤕 We have had a lot of comments suggesting we use some sort of land anchor to winch off of. This was impossible for us at the time because, as we said, our winch was busted!! Thanks for all the comments though guys! We're loving hearing from you all!!
amazing persistance, but,its desperation, it has to be done.no fun, at all.. winching the van, id of tried skidding the tow bar around, pivot it, tie a track to the tow bar,. im not a fan of towing trailers , anywhere, not even for work.. theres lots of self contained 4x4 trucks to choose from. or second hand. mate bought an old army acco, when they were changing to unimogs..idea to fit caravan on back, job done.. ended up with an international scout. we left s.a. to karumba. me in a 78 f100 4x4. back in 82.. karumba to burketown is interesting. hot springs, old steem engine, to pump the water. excellent fishing, concrete warf at burketown. nothing there, 2nd ww history. theres salt pans, you might....like.....again, amazing effort. 👍🦘🌏
You can use a tow rope too bro , if winch isn’t working you can bury the spare and double wrap the rope aroundt tyre so it pinches on itself and then as the wheel turns it pulls you toward the spare wheel, you do have to get the wheel of the ground to wrap the rope around tho so it can be a bit of a drag ,
I wouldn't worry about a broken winch. There's a bloke named Russell Coight who will eventually find where you are and do his best to assist. Top bloke.
Love that you guys are pushing that beast to where it should be and not just a bit of graded dirt highway and calling it off-road touring. Would love to see any earlier footage of your journey/ travels if you have any. I bet I would not be the only one soaking it all up. Keep up the great work guys. Got ta go so I can hit the subscribe button
That was one of the most incredible recoveries I've ever seen. Not just because it was so freaking hard, but you somehow treated each other kindly. Well done, and wow - just wow.
Based on where you go and what you are driving, I would suggest some pneumatic lift bags. We had them when I was a firefighter for rescue work. They are very thin, have a large surface area, can conform to the shape of the object being lifted, are highly puncture resistant, and can lift a tremendous amount of weight with just compressed air. Your situation is obviously too soft for a conventional jack. The surface area of the lift bags overcomes this, and because they are thin, you only need a cm or two to get it under the vehicle. Once lifted, you can place your mats under the tire instead of trying to drive on to them
I’ve just discovered you guys and having watched this video I have to say that you are both awesome people. The relationship you have with each-other is incredible. There are very few people that have the ability to stay that calm, retain their sense of humour, support each-other and to talk so nicely to each-other in the face of adversity. Good luck with the repairs, looking forward to following you on your adventures.
Thank you so much. We have been doing this sort of stuff for a little while. So although this looks stressful. It’s just another day in the office for us
I am thousands of miles away in the UK, but I screamed with you when that truck came out of the mud !!!!!! thanks for sharing , subscribed love Rachael P x
What a team effort. First time viewer of your channel and I got to say that I love how you own your mistakes but then just figure it all out calm as F$%k and just get the job done all on your own together. That was a massive effort, no front winch, no 4Wd, just a shit load of digging and some max tracks. I don't think a lot of people know what a feat that was given the size of your rig. Total respect to you both.
I love,ed looking at this episode I'm In Texas 🇺🇲 USA , after some thinking over I'm suggesting for future reference get more of those plastic traction plates that help's with lifting out of a stuck in the mud ,slush it's like with only several , the more you gun it the deeper the tires drop , well you you made it anyway 😊 awesome!!!.
watched the video on your rig set up.. then watch a few more to eventually get here... aaahhhh the trials of life... I was baffled why you weren't using your front winch then I read your comment where you said its broken... I presume the back one works?... just an idea encase it happens again, some how i don't think it will :) , but all you needed to do was take the spare of, bury it so its facing sideways head on, thread the rear cable under the truck and strap it to your spare/anchor, again the spare needs to be burried right down, a small trench to allow cable to be straight... this would have worked Im sure of it.. regardless I take my hat or to you both for your determination and perseverance ... may you guys be forever blessed on your travels..
You guys are just champions. What Stella examples to your kids of acting with character in tough times. This was one of the best outback vids I've seen, mainly because you were real, you were vulnerable, positive mindsets. I have to say your ability to keep your cool and support each other is inspirational. Lastly, I teared up when the emotion of finally getting the truck out overflowed in the cab. Good on you both. And happy mothers day.
Some of the greatest understatement made in the commentary. What an adventure that was. You won't forget the mission to retrieve your truck in a hurry. Safe travels. Keep on with the great vlogs.
Good on you,,, what a chore!!! if you sink in the mud stay away!!! Loosing the 4x4 / CVC joints kept you their longer i think. heck with the coffee i wanted a beer just watching.
Initially I watched this video because I’m currently building up a truck to travel around Australia and hopefully the word at some point. The initial draw to the video was, the truck, the travel and the situation of getting bogged as ive definitely been in this situation before. The longer the video went on I completely started to ignore all these elements and became hype focused on the relationship you guys all share, initially I was stunned at how incredible Kyla kept so level headed and in control of absolutely everything with very little stress and a hugely immense amount of support and absolutely no intention blame games unless in a joke or banter manner. I was Incredibly impressed with Kyla, what an incredible human with an amazing outlook on every situation in life, but then i realised... it was nothing to do with either of you individually and just an insanely compatible relationship where you both compliment each other in every possible aspect. The care, support, strengths, share of responsibility, love and commitment to each other and the shared dream is honestly one of the most eye opening and beautiful things ive seen in a long time. Im 26, want to travel the world in a truck and sure as anything want to find a love and a bond like the one your family shares, I’m sure theres hard times, nothings ever perfect. I just wanted to comment and let you know that seeing this type of love gave me an extraordinary motivation to go out into the world and take every opportunity to meet and connect with people until I discover a connection like the one you guys share. Literally speechless watching all of you interact together in the most beautifully kind, stunning and supportive and understanding manner. Amazing.
What a fab couple! Your wife never stopped smiling throughout the whole scenario, And very well behaved children i must say. Well done Dad for all that digging 👍👍👍 Great adventures to you all, Mick.
Bro! I felt for you . Good job for being the man and getting the family out. You got to forever keep your wife. She is gold. She made the whole journey entertaining and she managed to keep stress less. Bless you all. Hopefully will see you on the road sometime.
CV is my bet. The isuzu 300 CV seem to break when at high load and steering wheel turned to lock. Another youtuber had the exact thing happen on fraiser. He ended up using the bump stop bolt to make it so he could not get full lock. Man you were on mission to dig that out, great job by all of you. The digger, the driver, the nanny :).
@@thecartwrights snapped right on full lock. That is a bit of a poor design and would be on your mind every time it gets sticky. Hopefully isuzu see your vid and fix the underlying issue because when you think of it it, it wasn't really hard going for it in that there was plenty of slip going on (lowering the actual stress you could put on it). The one in fraiser happened in nice soft slippery sand but at full lock. Its not like it was rock crawling with deflated tyres where there would be a lot more stress introduced. My thought is someone (isuzu mgmt) just decided to cut the turning circle by 2ft and never thought about the odd angled stress in the UNI joint.
So proud of you both. How you kept mentioning prayer is an answer to prayer. Dad you the man taking responsibility for your decisions and how mum showed her love for you and your children. Your family relationship is so solid. Do what you can and trust God to look after you. Your are always in our prayers. - Future Isuzu NPS 75/155 + Caravan grey nomads.
Which bit do you thank god for. Getting your whole family stranded or hours of digging a damaged truck out of mud. Dad got them in the mess and out of it. Can’t see any part is helped by your invisible friend.
You guys have two new subscribers. We were so impressed with your adventure. Full marks for staying so calm and rational during a crisis. Your efforts in getting unstuck were first class. Cheers.
Your relationship is like an aircraft carrier. Total team work she never panics and sets you off. Beautiful to see. Great parenting skills on display. True team work... Can we have a vote😆
Use the rear winch, bury the spare tire behind the caravan as an anchor point, use a snatch block to move the caravan back away from the Isuzu. Now you've got room to use the rear winch and anchor to ease the Isuzu back out of the bog. :)
Love it when going against intuition, pig headedly and stubbornly not giving in , then shock horror nature teaches yet another lesson. Everyone known,on the outback plains, water can cause immense issues, especially under ahumans weight, let alone a heavy rig.
Well done guys, cool heads prevailed and its amazing what persistence can do. Keep up the great work and being well prepared, good knowledge and a good team will get you along way.
We've all been there...lessons not learnt in blood and suffering are soon forgotten..flood country is a no go zone... great work in staying together and working as a team...and thank you for the awesome footage...all's well ends well...
You both put in an incredible effort to recover yourselves ahead of any potential inclement weather. Of course I wasn't in your situation to start with, however there's no way I would have attempted the crossing in the first place. I think you've learned your lesson, if not, maybe read up on risk management ;). Great work team, very well done!!!! thank you for the content and your time. Cheers.
Crackin' episode guys. What a situation you got your mob into. Great job perceiving with your bogging and getting it out. Loving your channel and your beautiful little family. Don't change👌
Being stuck is part of going off-road. Spending time with family is worth a bit of hard work. Traveling with family is one of my favorite things. Keep at it. Don't let haters bother you. Can't wait to get out with our new trailer. Maybe we will get to Australia some day. We are in the US...
This brought back some memories for us 😬 You guys did so well though. Glad you’re all out and ok 🤙 Stop beating yourself up, this is all part of being out there living the dream.
Top Tip. Burry the spare wheel away in front of the truck, hook the winch cable through the centre of the wheel to a tyre iron or big spanner and then pull yourself out up to the spare. Drive safe.
Wow. To say that was a HUGE effort is the understatement of the year. Great job!!! And thank you for continuing to record everything as it gives the rest of us a brilliant insight into what can go wrong in the middle of nowhere. 🙂
Great adventures , admire your bravery for attempting this trip especially with deadly reptiles ect kicking about around those areas . If i had the money I would have used a "Unimog " based like your Isuzu . Much envy to you , I hope this little mud hole had taught lessons . Keep Safe
Mistakes happen, but good work getting out!. Good to see you two in high spirits about that mess and keeping a calm head. Definitely some valuable lessons learned here. I've busted u joints and knuckles before putting power to a steer axle at full lock because I had no other choice. Then it's a worse situation with three, or even worse, two wheel drive. One tip for getting out of slick spots is to power brake. Don't mess with a handbrake. Foot on the brake, foot on the throttle, and let off the foot brake. Maybe you guys tried it, but a lot of people don't know about that little trick. It's gotten me out of more than a few slick situations in passenger vehicles and loaded semis at 105,000 pounds (about 48,000 kg).
I’m so glad I stumbled across your channel guys, your positive attitude towards everything and each other is so refreshing compared to all the doom and gloom or over dramatised content of today….👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That was epic, what a battle you guys had, shows the importance of recovery boards, winches and shovels. Glad to see you got out of the bog. You guys are living the dream and getting on with life.
I have to say, the attention to detail you put in your videos is top notch, the subtitles are very appreciable as a non native speaker. Now I do fully understand and speak English but sometimes when the volume is low or when the person is not facing the camera it's not easy to understand what's being said and you make it easy for us. So thank you, you've earned yourself a new subscriber from France !👋
Subscribed after the first minute! What a rig, adventure and story to tell into the future! Love you both keep positive in the stressful times. Don't beat yourself up so much mate, stuff happens when your out having a go at life. The camerawork, vlogging the whole challenge and editing was well done. Great talk at the end! I'm watching your adventures from now.
The joys in tribulations of travelling and experiencing the ups and downs. I say well donary both kept calm and cool and bingo, you're out and on the road again.
Great work team to keep it all together in that situation! What an epic life lesson and to keep filming was impressive. I think filming for UA-cam would have been a very low priority if we were in that situation! I think I would have tried burying the spare wheel with a strap attached and then hooking the winch up. Did the truck break a CV as you thought? Looking forward to your next epic life lesson :).
Hey mate. Thank you Burying a spare wheel would have been my first option, if my front winch wasn’t broken at the time. It really was a series of rookie and unfortunate events that led to my undoing 🤕🤕 Yeah front right CV exploded
Good trick is the Digg hole, spare tire and winch off that when you have nothing to pull from and can even run it from underneath the vehicle and caravan Love the episodes
Seriously nail biting episode.. loved it!! Would of absolutely sucked at the time but definitely entertaining to watch 😁 hoping we never end up that bad but definitely taking some tips for when we are trucking around in the mud 😉☺️
@@alwynvanwyk1851 yes, saw that too…..but no mention in Dad’s commentary? Interesting to know if the other vehicle pushed ahead or retreated. Also no indication Dad’s UA-cam report on the final route to Alice!
Hey mate!! Soo what we didn’t explain on the camera is multiple cars came through the gate whilst we were there. The binns track was actually quite busy on this day. It was busy until we got stuck. Then we didn’t see another car all afternoon and all night. Half our luck really 🤣
BEST VIDEO EVER!!! 5 mins in I gave a thumbs up, then…1/4 in wanted to give another, 1/2 way another and then another and another! Wish UA-cam had this option. BEST video EVER!!!!
Most of outback aus are stations and while the owners don't like it the government sold the land with easements allowing for anyone to cross the land but they must stay on the tracks.
Hey mate. So there were about 10 other cars that went through the gate whilst we were stopped there. They explained the situation to us. Then we proceeded after having lunch with the kids. We checked everything was ok first. But the video was very long so we cut it out
The respect you give each other is absolutely breathtaking - You both deserve to follow your dreams without question you both will navigate anything as a team - congratulations and thank you for brilliant vids.
This is the first content I've seen from you guys, but is some of the best I've seen. Mum / Dad.... some of the best teamwork I've ever seen. When things are turning south, you both banded together and worked superbly to achieve your goal. Well done on getting out and at the same time providing some amazing content.
I have had a couple of major bogs like that, but I was a shitty, short tempered fool, I was happy to see you so calm and cool. I dont think people understand the feeling of guilt, anger and even a little scared when in a remote area worrying about the cost of tow trucks if needed
I love your calm and the persistance! It reminds me when we got bogged with a storm approaching in South Lake Eyre in 1995 with our L300 4x4 MK1. We didn't even had a shovel and used our cooking pan!!! After an hour or so got out off trouble. Maxtrax weren't invented back then... Since that day, I would not travel without a high lift jack and 2-3 big wood block to put underneath. Cheers from Switzerland
Hi there Cartwrights, just discovered you this morning I spent 25 years in Alice, worked at a place called Kintore in the early 80s Also worked with a guy who had a contract to remove all the old sleepers from the original Ghan railway line, we would dig them out mostly crowbars then stack on metal frames highabe onto the back of old Leyland hippo 6 wheel drives then Drive into Alice cut them up with huge diamond tip saws and sell for firewood, massive operation ands back breaking work in the desert , sand hills, bogs you name it, but what a life, this video was so impressive how you literally pulled together just chipping away It was what i call a real guts effort congratulations! Hope you enjoyrd the Finke, Its a great race and atmosphere out there and so look forward to more of your adventures, thanks again take care D x
Why would you even get close to the water in a vehicle that looks like a train and probably weights as much??? By the looks of the underside of that vehicle it was not built to go off road!!!
Unreal guys, well done and hats if to you both for keeping it calm and working hard. This would have been tough even tougher documenting it for us to watch and learn. Love it i just subed to your channel.🎉
You guy's are amazing 👏 that was some effort to get out of there, hope it didn't cost to much to fix the truck, your wife is amazing to keep her spirits up and looking after the kids, I bet the little ones thought it was alot of fun, ha ha 😅 hats off to you all for keeping your cool, well done ❤ from rick in Perth, Australia 🇦🇺 cheers 🍻
OMG. That couple of minutes (for us on the video) of you rocking back and forth just trying to make a few extra inches of run up was intense. I even yelled when you finally got out. I can only imagine what joy you both must have felt when it finally came out. Great work!
This is the best UA-cam video ever. So well put together capturing the drama and intensity of the the whole situation. Wlwe could feel the frustration and emotions that are a part of a situation like this. Congrats on the video and for getting out of the bog. And thank you for rhe effort you go to to document your adventures❤
Well there is only two words for you guys “ Bloody Legends “ NEVER GAVE UP , STAYED POSITIVE AND FOCUSED ( with a few laughs ) So much Respect for you guys. If anyone ever finds themselves in a predicament. This is the way to get out of it Bloody Awesome job guys. And yes. YOU SHOULD BE BLOODY PROUD OF YOURSELVES 🫵🫵🫵🙌🙌🙌❤️ Cheers Brad and Fi
Wow, what an epic bog.....good on you for persevering and getting your family out of possibly danger , that's what a real man does...................epic video indeed
Been there on my own, 5 hrs it took me to get moving, exhausted. Lessons learned? Consider: Doubling up on the Maxtrax, Get the front winch fixed / replaced, Get some diff-lockers fitted, Buy a turfor and ground anchor, Press-on and stay loving each other and civil. You’re good for the rest of your lives, Love you guys ❤️🇷🇴
Unhitch the van as soon as you start to spinning the wheels. Stay well away from the waters edge. Get an airbag capable of lifting your vehicle. A working winch is a must for soft conditions.
My new favorite channel. I love you guys. A big THANK YOU for videoing so much of your efforts, when you were u p to your eyeballs in challenges! You give me inspiration ( and remind me of some pretty special days when I took my family on adventures). I miss those days, so enjoy them, lumps and all! And know that you don't always have loved ones around forever. God bless.
Very entertaining video happy that you came out. We travelled 6 1/2 years in an expedition truck also had some Hairy moments was happy to carry 40 ton air jacks. They are about a metre long and push 40 cm high.
Top video, just a little tip on how to get out of a sticky situation like that mud, better than Max tracks (which I carry) better than a winch (which I have) a 12 dollar bag off builders lime. (which I don't carry, but if I was driving a light truck I definitely would) by sprinkling lime liberally on any wheel that does not gain traction miraculously the wheel will gain traction virtually immediately. With this method you would have been out and on your way in under 15 minutes, so before you drive into (or back into) the mud again buy a bag of lime, then you will really have something for show and tell. Then everyone will think how cleaver you were to get out, not how dumb you were for driving in. It works, I have unbogged fully loaded trucks with this method. Thanks.....from a retired concreter 😊

Your relationship is like an aircraft carrier. Total team work she never panics and sets you off. Beautiful to see. Great parenting skills on display. True team work... Can we have a vote😆
Hahahaha thank you mate. Appreciate it
Use the rear winch, bury the spare tire behind the caravan as an anchor point, use a snatch block to move the caravan back away from the Isuzu. Now you've got room to use the rear winch and anchor to ease the Isuzu back out of the bog. :)
🙌🙌
Love it when going against intuition, pig headedly and stubbornly not giving in , then shock horror nature teaches yet another lesson.
Everyone known,on the outback plains, water can cause immense issues, especially under ahumans weight, let alone a heavy rig.
Hahahaha very stubborn
Crazy towing such a huge van! You pay a high price for ‘convenience’! WEIGHT is the enemy of this sort of activity, two coffee machines?😂😂
Incredible and excellent at the same time, a family united by kindness, accompanied by enormous support. Yours truly.
Well done guys, cool heads prevailed and its amazing what persistence can do. Keep up the great work and being well prepared, good knowledge and a good team will get you along way.
Thank you very much
Well done guys, I knew you could get out, glad you are all safe now. Thanks for the content
Thank you!!
Cheers.
Hahaha I have learn my lesson. Thank you
Nice to see that the two of you roll with punches. Didn't get too upset, didn't make a big fuss. Simply got to work and solved the problem. Great Job!
When you live in a caravan together for as long as we have. You become very close 🙌. Thank you for watching
Crackin' episode guys. What a situation you got your mob into.
Great job perceiving with your bogging and getting it out.
Loving your channel and your beautiful little family.
Don't change👌
Yes they are quite an amazing bunch great video and better luck in the future 👍 😀 ❤
Thank you so much. We appreciate it more then you know
Being stuck is part of going off-road. Spending time with family is worth a bit of hard work. Traveling with family is one of my favorite things. Keep at it. Don't let haters bother you. Can't wait to get out with our new trailer. Maybe we will get to Australia some day. We are in the US...
I wanted to watch this but I can only take so many 'Babes and Dads'
Sorry babe 😂😂😂
Dad is a bit creepy when your wife says it
That's amazing. I can not imagine the mosquitos. They never let up! Well done!
Wow, thank you!
Dad you are a hero yeppppy
Obsessed with how you two speak to each other!
Thank you!
Everyone likes to throw clickbait content up all the time. We promise ourselves we would never do it
Well done! You got out. There is nothing worse than getting bogged in mud, dirty, sticky, exhausting work. Kudos!!!!!
Very exhausting
That was epic, what a battle you guys had, shows the importance of recovery boards, winches and shovels. Glad to see you got out of the bog. You guys are living the dream and getting on with life.
Thank you mate. It really shows the importance of quality gear.
🤟
@@thecartwrights ...and backup gear - you broke a shovel then kept digging because you had a backup.
Idk how you guys manage to keep such a positive outlook in the face of adversity, what an absolute team you both are!
Thank you so much
My new drinking game.... take a sip evrytime you hear the word Dad. Love your work guys. Keep it up.
Brilliant whole family effort!
World-class video too.
Thanks for this
Thank you!!
I was never so happy for a bog truck before then this one good job guys
Circus music would have been more appropriate 😂
Yet here you are watching
Great work team to keep it all together in that situation! What an epic life lesson and to keep filming was impressive. I think filming for UA-cam would have been a very low priority if we were in that situation! I think I would have tried burying the spare wheel with a strap attached and then hooking the winch up. Did the truck break a CV as you thought? Looking forward to your next epic life lesson :).
Hey mate. Thank you
Burying a spare wheel would have been my first option, if my front winch wasn’t broken at the time. It really was a series of rookie and unfortunate events that led to my undoing 🤕🤕
Yeah front right CV exploded
Good trick is the Digg hole, spare tire and winch off that when you have nothing to pull from and can even run it from underneath the vehicle and caravan Love the episodes
Seriously nail biting episode.. loved it!! Would of absolutely sucked at the time but definitely entertaining to watch 😁 hoping we never end up that bad but definitely taking some tips for when we are trucking around in the mud 😉☺️
Thank you so much. Good luck with your travels
Utube recommended...you owe them a beer...your mad loved the video
Hi Dad. Perhaps that closed gate and warning sign on Binns Track was a message that the track was closed?????
At one point I have seen another vehicle in front of the truck 🤔🤔
Wow, thanks!
Why did you go through the gate when it said no entry without prior approval?
They dont reply maybe to lazy.
Nasty kevin, mmmm
Nasty bonzo, mmmmm
Most of outback aus are stations and while the owners don't like it the government sold the land with easements allowing for anyone to cross the land but they must stay on the tracks.
Hey mate. So there were about 10 other cars that went through the gate whilst we were stopped there. They explained the situation to us. Then we proceeded after having lunch with the kids. We checked everything was ok first. But the video was very long so we cut it out
The respect you give each other is absolutely breathtaking - You both deserve to follow your dreams without question you both will navigate anything as a team - congratulations and thank you for brilliant vids.
Thankyou so much for that! Love hearing these kind things 🤙🏽
This is the first content I've seen from you guys, but is some of the best I've seen.
Mum / Dad.... some of the best teamwork I've ever seen. When things are turning south, you both banded together and worked superbly to achieve your goal.
Well done on getting out and at the same time providing some amazing content.
Cheers mate. Really really appreciate it
Memories like this make a life well lived 👍
Way more money than common since . They need to stay closer to civilization so they can buy they're way out of problems.
What a dumbbell!
For UA-cam clicks? Bills needs to be payed
What a stupid action… for nothing but UA-cam clicks. Stay on the street, save your time for your kids.
hats off to you guy's, you stuck at it where others would have grown the towel in. well done, everyday's an adventure, onward and upward.......🤟
Thank you
Unreal guys, well done and hats if to you both for keeping it calm and working hard. This would have been tough even tougher documenting it for us to watch and learn. Love it i just subed to your channel.🎉
Thanks so much!
Ребята, вы супер-молодцы. Справились с очень сложной ситуацией. Не унывали, боролись до конца и победили. Respect.
Thankyou so much
Well what do you expect when you take a bloody big heavy truck and caravan through some boggy ground.
Got what I deserved really hahaha
Well you did get your selfs in a pickle and you did get your selfs out hats of to youse great video guys👍
Thank you
You guy's are amazing 👏 that was some effort to get out of there, hope it didn't cost to much to fix the truck, your wife is amazing to keep her spirits up and looking after the kids, I bet the little ones thought it was alot of fun, ha ha 😅 hats off to you all for keeping your cool, well done ❤ from rick in Perth, Australia 🇦🇺 cheers 🍻
Hey Rick
Thanks mate, that’s very kind!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting
OMG. That couple of minutes (for us on the video) of you rocking back and forth just trying to make a few extra inches of run up was intense. I even yelled when you finally got out. I can only imagine what joy you both must have felt when it finally came out. Great work!
When the roads just there why would you drive through the mud hole
You again, bonzo bozo...
Hahaha the road was impassable. I was looking for the path of least resistance, safe to say, we didn’t find it
This is the best UA-cam video ever. So well put together capturing the drama and intensity of the the whole situation. Wlwe could feel the frustration and emotions that are a part of a situation like this. Congrats on the video and for getting out of the bog. And thank you for rhe effort you go to to document your adventures❤
Sorry, dude, but that was a really poor decision, but we are all allowed a few of these in life. Learn from it and move on. 😊
Hahaha brother I know. I’m a dumbass. Thank you for watching
What a pair of legends, i would have been swearing my head off.
Hahahaha thank you. It was slightly stressful. 😂
Mum you have an amazing positivity, not sure I would stay that calm
대단한 여정,,힘들어도 재미
있겠어요.안전운행하시고
행복하고 즐거운 여행하세요.
The best of the best ❤❤
Well there is only two words for you guys “ Bloody Legends “
NEVER GAVE UP , STAYED POSITIVE AND FOCUSED ( with a few laughs )
So much Respect for you guys.
If anyone ever finds themselves in a predicament.
This is the way to get out of it
Bloody Awesome job guys.
And yes. YOU SHOULD BE BLOODY PROUD OF YOURSELVES 🫵🫵🫵🙌🙌🙌❤️
Cheers Brad and Fi
Hey Brad and fi. Thank you for watching. And thank you for the amazing support!!
Showing the true part of traveling around Australia, you handled it well, and you had the knowledge and equipment to attempt it.
Thank you!!
What an episode! I'm exhausted!
Incredible determination and calm problem solving. Gripping viewing! Thanks for sharing the story.
Thank you!!
Wow, what an epic bog.....good on you for persevering and getting your family out of possibly danger , that's what a real man does...................epic video indeed
Thank you so much.
Been there on my own, 5 hrs it took me to get moving, exhausted.
Lessons learned?
Consider:
Doubling up on the Maxtrax,
Get the front winch fixed / replaced,
Get some diff-lockers fitted,
Buy a turfor and ground anchor,
Press-on and stay loving each other and civil.
You’re good for the rest of your lives,
Love you guys ❤️🇷🇴
Unhitch the van as soon as you start to spinning the wheels. Stay well away from the waters edge. Get an airbag capable of lifting your vehicle. A working winch is a must for soft conditions.
"A spot of bother" you Ausies are famous with quips like that. Much love.
God bless.
Thank you very much. Your feed back makes us feel amazing
Very entertaining video happy that you came out. We travelled 6 1/2 years in an expedition truck also had some Hairy moments was happy to carry 40 ton air jacks. They are about a metre long and push 40 cm high.
You both are so awesome specially the kids. Job well done dad and mom. Good looking rich families.
