Yeah and the men were more athletic and healthy. Now men have pot bellies, dumb ass haircuts, stupid baseball caps instead of cool hats, dumb ass tee shirts instead of cool ‘70s shirts. Opioid was popular then. I was at this $1 concert that lasted 12 hours I was 13 now I'm 61 now. Issac Hayes turned in out. Look how thin everyone was back then.
I've been crushing on the young lady in the red polka dot dress since 1972, when I was 12. I'm 64 now, and still think she's a bad mamajama. We were different then and had more pride...and the music is still bangin' today. Not a mention of the "b-word" or the "n-word. That takes me back…. I’m an old, white man whose first girlfriend was a redbone in Alabama named Louise. we had the best time in life, but boy was it tough to be a mixed couple in Alabama. we went our separate ways in life, and her husband served with me in Vietnam. Louise contracted breast cancer and passed away in 1994. she had four kids and two grandkids when she passed. her husband, who we called Bo, passed away in 2011 from kidney failure caused by Agent Orange. Their first grandchild was named Stefan, and he lived with us until he graduated the university of Colorado at Boulder. Such a fine young man. I miss them both very much. Stefan will always be partly my son. I miss them very much…. Bo and Louise were the best of America, and it hurts me deeply to think about them.

2 cts for an Ice Cream in 1923 and 5 cts for a Bottle of Coke oh oh way back in the day...

You also have to understand a lot of people did not earn that much back then as well.. 5 cents was a lot back in 1923
The women back then were way more naturally beautiful then the artificial ones we got today..
Today they just aren't pretty any more with or without make up
