I'd be hanging on to that Mate if I were you. Particularly with the 1586cc engine, this is extremely rare as most had the 1272cc engine. Twin carb? Probably not, unless someone has changed it. Standard was single carb, twin barrel. You've got a highly collectable classic there Mate. In the U.S you could get them with a rotary. Always let it idle for a few minutes after you do a cold start as those old Mazdas tend to burn lean and stall. Conversely the cool running motor virtually never overheats no matter what you do.
THAT was my very 1st car, same color. I paid $500 for it in 1984. I loved that car. My little "Shaggin' Wagon". 4 speed manual transmission a/c. No power sterering, no nothing!

It eventually threw a rod 500 miles from home. I had to hitch hike 500 miles from Ft Vally Georgia to altamonte Springs FL. That sucked!
