Making a Simple Live Edge Cookie Table. In This Woodworking Video I do a Blacktail - esque Build of a Live Edge Maple Wood Cookie Table. Things go relatively smooth except for one small mistake that almost destroyed this unique piece of wood. I go through the process of sourcing the wood, Milling it down, how to clean the live edge up. Pour some Black Epoxy in the cracks, sanding, making my own wood table legs using shou Sugi Ban or a burning wood technique and wiring brushing, followed by some wipe on wood stain and lacquering the final product... In the end I got a little lucky and salvaged my mistake and ended up taking this piece of furniture to the market to sell it.
