Amazing, "we'll meet after the war on equal footing and you will account for your lack of mercy" some sentiments are so timeless, good for Mr Brown.

The Comanche have got to be the most cruel group of people to ever inhabit this earth. The stories about their sheer enjoyment of the torture and murder of even toddlers are so many. They should've never been allowed to surrender.

They most certainly were. It's hard to comprehend an entire group of people being that violent much less being that violent just for sport.

Over in Hamilton, Texas, the Comanche murdered a school teacher, and her students. They shot them with arrows through the cracks in the walls of the schoolhouse. SAVAGES.

I grew up about a 1/4 mile from this site. Our place was on the last house on th last curve on Dennis Road before it dead ends at FM 1189 and th Johnson Cemetary. We lived there from 1978 til 1984 when our place caught fire and my little brother parished in the fire along with my older brothers wives younger brother. Mother sold the homeplace in 1993 as she couldn't see ever building another home there. I surfaced hunted arrowheads and various other artifacts for many years in that area left by those who once reigned Supreme over th Comachera. There are still many areas out there where you can find perfect spear points and arrow heads.

General Bankhead probably had a line of men cutting cards for the numerical order in which they would each have their chance to ventilate the General's hide.

    😂😂😂Sign of the times.
When you said they had to collect things for tanning purposes…
I immediately thought “just lay out.” Quickly caught myself. Lol

Went to Azle High School. Parker County adjacent. Knowing the area makes it more interesting.

What did it cost the lady to also tell the other lil child to follow. How can she just leave him without no warning.

@NVMVNV yes people do know the real history, there are pictures of some events and oral and written reports and archeological evidence. Go back to sleep.

"What's one family compared to the confederacy?" Today it's "What's one man compared to the state?" Sounds like Mussolini to me. Also sounds like Caiphas in John 11:50. Does the individual exist for the benefit of the state or vice-versa? I'd like to hear more history about this General Bankhead and what led to his killing by the other ex-soldier.

Love your channel. The history channel died many years ago. You need to get a wig and dress up like that nut from ancient aliens and do an episode 😂.

There was a Indian attack on two families in Red River County on the Red River I was wondering if you new about it and could do a video on it I've always wondered what band of Indians this was it happened in the early 1800,s they were some of the first Anglos in Texas.
