I have a 2016 825 on a 2017 F-350. Lived full time in it for 1yr - best thing I ever did. It provides awesome adventures! Perfect for National Park's. Nimble for parking and fuel. Really like that after long hike, I can just jump in the shower, then take off feeling refreshed. I bought Lance because I always saw older models on the road. The quality is great and my extended time living in the camper really showed they thought through the layout. Solar allowed me to live totally off grid. Great video and great product!

We just upgraded our Lance trailer to a larger one and we Love it. We've seen the rest but buy the best. Model 2155 is now discontinued, such a shame.
we have a 2285 thinking of upgrading to a 2375.
Like most everything, the dealer is the most important part. Owning a Lance check the dealer 100 times. I was screwed, glued, and tattooed by mine. The Lance quality while better than most is only fair.

Hey Lance Camper and truck camper people!! Currently I have a 2022 Ram 2500 and I tow a Grand Design 21g Toy Hauler. We are thinking of getting rid of the trailer and want to get a slide in so we can get to more remote areas.... Can something like the Lance Altimeter be driven off-road? Not super gnarly off-road...but light 4x4 to get out boondocking..... I have been searching for info but not much out there.. there are a lot of Earthroamer stuff and 4x4 trucks with pop-up campers.. but I want the security of solid walls all the way up..... We drive cross country and often sleep at rest areas, walmarts and crack barrels.. so security is important... thanks! Love this camper!

Id like to know about the front bumper what what happened to the adaptive cruise radar, if it had one.
The bumper is from Warn. It is called the Ascent front bumper. We also fitted KC Hilights and a Warn Zeon 12-S Platinum Winch. As for the cruise control, when removing the stock bumper and installing the aftermarket bumper you simply relocate the sensor and still have full use of the adaptive system.
@@LanceCamperMFG do you happen to know what bracket? The ones I can find says they wont work on a Platinum.

LANCE, if you are listening, please consider this: the biggest market of pickups is a crew cab short bed half ton. Can you address that market? the lance 650 did not truly capture as it needs to loose weight. Its a little too big and too heavy. create a camper that is non slide, under 1400 lbs, non pop up. something to address those Fourwheel camper buyers who want a non pup up. those buyers that want to go 4 wheeling. u cant go to much 4wheeling with the 650, its just too big and heavy. its too top heavy. its doesnt have to have all the bells n whistles. fourwheel campers are basic, yet they sell a ton of them and their barely optioned but cost alot.

camper is like $40k new plus whatever you want to spend on new truck - $60k so likely closer to $100k. But they have models without slideouts that are closer to $20k and a used truck for $16k gets you in the game for substantially less than Earthroamer or any of the fully kitted 'expedition' vehicles.

Guess I need to go look somewhere else to see what the camper actually looks like and functions like at altitude.
