In the historic Jail. In what was the caretakers room. There was a peephole that could be used to look into the prison cell which looked like a giant cage
thats it? That was the best thing to mention of all of la granges so called history? wow I am glad you said that. It just goes to prove how their community leaders dont have a clue. Serves em right. lol.
I only met Ms Edna after they open the restaurant in Dallas. They moved the main parlor to Dallas Texas.
Thats so cool.. They knew knew how much history is and needs to be preserved.. Right on!

I guess Google hasn't made it to that part of Texas yet.
I never been to la grange because there is not nothing there that peaks my interest but on a trip somewhere else to visit we drove right to it just to shake our heads in disgust.. easy to find out where it was..
They didnt allow them to film the movie near La Grange nor did they show the movie in the Cozy Theater.
It benefits American history as a whole to stop telling these histories without mentioning the enslaved people that I'm sure made this brewery function.
