In Milan currently(November 1-3). People do wear leggings, but more tastefully. I see a lot of leather leggings. I also see a lot of boots of all height. Platform boots stand out. Lots of trench coats. It's been raining or cloudy. I brought chelsea boots with platform. Can wear casually or dress up. Easy to walk around with.
What should a woman pack for an October holiday from Rome to Venice if she is only taking one carry on and a personal item such as a small backpack that fits under the airplane seat? You have way too many things listed for the average person traveling with only a carry on. I love your channel! Keep up the great work! ❤
Usually, it rains a lot in March. I have a video dedicated to what to pack for Italy in spring that goes into more details: ua-cam.com/video/nDi_f3PkXnU/v-deo.html
Already did ;) Here is a link: ua-cam.com/video/X0Sw0ONFB8A/v-deo.html And here is also a good video to watch on December in general: ua-cam.com/video/IsyAbYufcyY/v-deo.html
@@StayFabulousTL Now that I rewatched the video, or maybe it was another one of your videos. You mentioned not to wear baseball hats. I shave my head so I usually like to have a hat of some kind. I was in Rome last December and I saw more than a few that were wearing baseball hats and I don't think that they all were tourists. Also, I am thinking that those 'bucket' hats shout tourist louder than a baseball hat. Any hints?
Hi there! I'm planning a trip to Sicily for the first 10 days in November. It looks quite warm there at that time. Would linen still be appropriate for there at that time? And also, a cashmere cardigan or is a proper coat required? Many thanks for your help! Great videos!

When we visited Rome in 2002, we came there towards the very end of September. It was 35 ° C at the time. And there were those chic Italian women dressed in tweed dresses with pantyhose ... Then we understood that Italians dress after the calendar, NOT according to the weather. 😎
You will need a good mix of clothes but definitely on the warmer side. Also, please remember that it will be a rainy season, so a rain coat, boots, etc.
Great question! Italians always dress for the season and not the weather, so towards the middle-end of October, they will be transitioning towards the fall wardrobe.
I'm traveling to Southern Italy next week and the weather forecast is 27-8 degrees during the day with no rainfall (pretty much summer weather) - should I pack summer clothes? I know myself and know that with that sort of temperature I'd feel uncomfortable wearing anything long/covered shoes/etc. I think the weather this year in Europe is particularly warm.
Some of my favorite months are April, May, September, October and February. I go into more details in my video on how to plan a trip to Rome: ua-cam.com/video/Cd8DMfdwWys/v-deo.html

This just helped me so much! I would probably be packing a totally wrong suitcase before watching this.
Thank you!

Do they still wear linen in October if the temp is warm enough ? Will be in Italy Rome & Venice mid to late October .
