As a ND fan. This game was a representation of the year for the Fighting Irish. Couldn't be more proud of the fight. Congrats to the buckeyes on a very much deserved title, and shoutout to the cfbplayoff team for a great video!

It’s funny how they are actually equal in some fans minds. I’ll take the trophy every time.
I was in line to enter the stadium the minute they opened the doors. I stayed until multiple personnel made me leave.
In those ~7 hours I only came across ONE disrespectful ND fan (she was beyond hammered).
Every one of the fans that walked by me on their way out had nice things to say (eg congrats, travel safe, enjoy the win, etc.).
One of the most respectful fan bases I’ve been around, and awesome effort by the players to battle back and make it close.
I’ve found all fanbases are usually respectful, there are some notable outliers but usually the fans behind the keyboard do all the talking

This was the best CFP run, thus far, by any team. Left for dead after losing to TTUN, they responded by beating TWO tough SEC teams, an undefeated Oregon team who just won B1G Ten, and Notre Dame who had all the momentum going as well.
There’s just no other team!

Every team Ohio State played in the playoffs they dominated. They were just a step ahead of all of them 😊 Ohio State would’ve beat Arizona State SMU and Boise State also if they had to play them😊

Day had me worried for a hot few minutes there after the fumble and recovery by ND. He started puckering his butt checks playing not to loose instead of playing to win. That bomb to JJ was a call playing to win. Thankfully, it paid off and capped with a FG. Though I’m sure if the play call was right in attacking the edges and gaps with the run instead of QB scrabble they could have had another TD. Can’t believe a senior actually fumbled the ball on a careless run after catching it. They had all the momentum for another TD and could have put the game away there.

Yes he can be stopped with double or triple coverage but that will lead to other elite receivers open like Tate. Smith #4 if he keeps up is a menace to deal over next two years
Ohio State was the elite of elites 😊 no they beat all their opponents in the playoffs by double digits top five teams🎉 they would’ve beat any team they put in front of them Boise State SMU and Arizona by 20+ points

ND has the best uniforms in college. The green ones they lost to us last year in are the best, but I love these ones too.

Notre Dame faught to come back, waited too long to start opening up the passing game and ohio state had no answer for it. Held smith in check with moore. Should have been on him in the end.

No answer… Ohio State packed it in after 31-7. Not saying they should’ve but come on.
ND couldn’t stop OSU’s offense. They punted once. Every time ND needed a play they blew it. This game was never going to the Irish. They just set their fans up for false hope.
