Houston beat Tulsa 100-6 in 1969, the biggest blowout in modern College Football History. What's even crazier is that Dr. Phil played linebacker for that Tulsa team.
In 2013, North Dakota State finished the season ranked #29 in the AP poll, the highest ever for an FCS team.
Mount Union (Division 3) in the last 38 years went 469-33-3, won 34 Conference Titles, and
13 National Championships. And you thought Alabama or North Dakota State was dominant.
Mark Hart RB for Michigan went 1,000 straight carries without fumbling the ball.

I love that picture of Heisman, looking like a lunatic. And he famously once said "You'd rather have died as a child than fumble that goddamn football", like an actual psychopath. He got professional players, then abused them into hardened madmen, and scored 222 points. And it was all because of a weird personal grudge. And THAT is why Heisman has his name on the trophy.

I remember being so astounded by our offense and so appalled by our defense, and watching this game was absolutely wild. It perfectly captured how I felt after every OU game, we would always pile it on early and our defense would almost lose it down the stretch. 2018 Rose Bowl vs Georgia was heartbreaking, but the best cfp semi game of all time. I’m still convinced we woulda had it that year if we got past Georgia, but now we just lose in the semis all the time 😂

My Alma matar ECU, was a quiet wide receiver factory in the 2010s. In 2014, Justin Hardy broke the NCAA record for career receptions with 387 (2010-2014). By 2016, Zay Jones surpassed Hardy’s record with 399 career receptions (2013-2016). Not only did he break the record, but he did it in 3 years. They were also teammates for a short period of time, which I found cool.
Jones still holds the record, and judging by the record before Hardy and Jones (347) we’ll be hard pressed to break this record any time soon. Jones also holds the single season reception record at 158. He is currently an Arizona Cardinal.

1989 SMU is basically Cumberland college. This was SMU's the first year after the death penalty. Houston however finished the season with first squad to have a 4,000-yard passer (Andre Ware), 1,000-yard rusher (Chuck Weatherspoon), and 1,000-yard receiver (Manny Hazard) in FBS history. They only lost 2 games for a combined 5 points and somehow were ranked 14th. THE SWC was stacked that year. Texas AM, Arkansas, and Houston's only loses were basically to each other. A reboot SWC in NCAA25 sounds amazing!

The only other team to match the 1901 Michigan squad would be the 1888 Yale Bulldogs; 694 points scored, 0 allowed. Loved the style video!

What you didn't mention about the Tech-Cumberland game is that the 222-0 score was made possible by the only positive play Cumberland made all game. One of their players blocked an extra point. With his face. Making for the incredibly poetic 222-0 for revenge for the 22-0 baseball score.

I think another record that will be almost impossible to break, especially in today’s game, is Oklahoma’s Antonio Perkins 3 punt return touchdowns in a game against UCLA in 2003. Along with his 277 yards of punt return yardage.

It was a long, long time ago, but I found some interesting history for a school you wouldn't think would do this. In 1898, Kentucky went undefeated, Untied and unscored upon!

WI produced some near record breaking RB's too, Ron Dayne in career rushing yards, Melvin Gordon in single season, Montee Ball has the most career TD's with 83 (rushing and receiving). Can't forget the insane blowout that was the 2012 B1G Championship where WI destroyed NE's hopes and dreams 70-31 where WI ran for over 500 rushing yards in that game, Melvin Gordon had over 200 yards on just 9 carries.
WI also had the single game rushing yard record with Melvin Gordon running 408, in just 3 quarters, but Samaje Parene had to take that away the very next week in 4 quarters...
