I unironically read a dutch children's book from the 90s as a child with a non-binary protagonist who doesn't know their gender.
This was done to not alienate any boys or girls reading the book.
It's not that rare of a writing tool if you want to target children of both sex. just write a character who doesn't know what gender they are or are unaware of the concept.
Really rich of this guy to call other people narcissistic when there were two additional words in a character creation menu and it made him act like this. What a strange man

Well it's obviously not about the pronouns themselves but the implication that comes with it meaning the culture war is in the game and Bethesda chose a side that is not his own. But, yeah, freaking out like that, I hope it's part of his YT persona.

Guess you must not play Fallout...or Final Fantasy...or Call of Duty...or XCOM...or Elder Scrolls...or Resident Evil...or Civilization...or literally every other game in existence that has politics in it. It's an optional feature for a character creation screen, if you feel triggered by something that small, the problem is YOU.

Man, I hate true wokeness as much as the next guy, but this guy's a joke. Using gender-neutral pronouns in games does not mean you're "woke". If you don't like the game, simply don't play it. I don't like BL3 because the story wasn't as good as any other (even though the Jakobs & Hammerlock DLC was amazing). It doesn't mean I should rant about it and call it "woke". People like this guy are the reason why I left the two-party system. It's full of a bunch of people in which calling them crazy would be an insult to actual crazy people.

It looks like a fun game,would give it a spin if I had a proper machine.
That said,i don't think I'd care about something that comes up in less than,say 1/10th of the game;if it was an issue,i would just mod it out;which would be the case for something like a particularly OP enemy or something.
