yeah like when people only listen to that one song and never go into the the genre further, then proceed to take all the concert tickets and only stay for one song while holding their phone out to record it the entire time.

I feel this so much. 😭 so many songs, artists and albums have been left in the past for me because of TikTok. Like when “Stay with Me” by Miki Matsubara became popular. I loved that song for so long and didn’t expect it to ever blow up like this, and now it’s literally so hard to listen to without hearing remixes, memes and some weird trend 🤦🏿♀️ deleting the app was the best thing ever. Music sounds a little better again.
oh my god i'm so sad cuz of this. recently ptv's king for a day went viral and literally everyone made video with this song. there's nothing wrong with that but i do feel sad when people say that they love this band when in reality they only know one song damn
As someone that has studied music production, I’m 100% convinced he has no idea about what’s happening in that studio.

I couldn't imagine trying to build a scene during the tiktok era. At least with FB the event pages brought in hundreds at first. I can see the term "followers" being brought up a lot during booking with the tiktok crowd.
One thing I love about TikTok is that it brought back metalcore: looking at Bad Omens and Bring Me The Horizon here

In his Spotify bio he states that he was heavily inspired by juice wrld and his passion for music. most tiktokers don't make music they care about Jxdn actually cares about his music and passions. I missed my drive for music. I had it, and maybe it will come back, but I was completely uninspired for so fucking long. I finally found something that I truly am committed to….. dying. Jk it’s disc golf. Glad I feel passion once again. I’m getting older, and it’s so depressing. I found one thing I enjoy, and that’s really what’s important.
