Why did you choose going to abroad and not settle in your country with post graduation?? I mean to ask why abroad is better than our home country? By the way I belong to India
Before 'better' or 'worse', I thought about my opportunity and circumstances. In Bangladesh, post graduation is very competitive to enter, stressful, and unbalanced in the passing rate. I have 2 questions
I m 37years now, done post graduation in orthopedics from pakistan, but my qualification is not valid in UK.
I have chosen path of PLAB rather than MRCS
My questions are that
1.Have you seen people of my age coming this way to UK and have been working at the junior level?
2.Did anyone got surgery residency?
You can certainly do PLAB at age 37 but to move forward in surgery you have to pass MRCS and get a training ticket in surgery
@@nuttywatty thanks alot for your reply
What about non training job in orthopedic surgery?
Age should not be a barrier, and it will not prevent you from pursuing what you want to do in the UK.
