I love the Luxe with the Gorjana band, the small size is so comfortable and it looks premium like you said. The Garmin features are so enticing but I just can't part with my Luxe for now!
Going out to buy one tomorrow. Thanks for the great review. It comes down to looks vs battery life. It's a hard choice, but I'll likely go for the better battery life of the inspire 3.

Thank you. I still don't know which one I want tho...I switch my bands all the time so the jewelry look means nothing to me as I'd have like five additional bands for a different look.😅. I do like how petite the luxe is tho

Well, thanks for the detailed about the screen seize. Now I know I can go with the luxe. Great video by the way. I like how you compared all of it and even the trivial screen seize. I hope the brightness is the same too since it is meant to be use outside.

this review was so helpful, thank you! Just to confirm - it seems like you cannot switch the bands between the two types of trackers, since they have different closure mechanisms - is that correct?

Hi, yes I wore them both 24/7 including druibg workouts. Did not see any noticeable difference in activity tracking results. I believe they are using the same internal sensors.

Thanks for this! Is the feel of the inspire 3 not as desirable for you because of the irritating material or does it feel heavier or different or pinching in any way?
I don’t normally wear things on my wrist so looking for the least annoying option overall. They seem so similar.
Hello, its just the irritation issue for me, the Inspire 3 was not heavier and had no pinching with either in my experience. Both are definitely a good option for something small, light weight and low profile

Thank you! And both are water resistant up to 50m but Fitbit calls the Inspire 3 swimproof so I think it would be better suited for swimming.
Your review helped swing me over to the Luxe. My Charge 4 disintegrated at the strap connection (I don’t understand how) after nearly 2 years. I don’t want a Charge 5 because of its battery drain problem. I was hoping the Charge 6 would be out. It’s not unfortunately. So it was between the Luxe & Inspire 3. Fitbit is offering the Luxe for $89USD & Inspire3 for $99. Not a big difference but your comment about the comfort of the Luxe convinced me. I bought the Luxe & really like it. I am still on my 1st charge with 26% battery life remaining. This battery is great. For $89, I’m pleased! Many thanks.

I've watched many videos while researching fitbits, your content is the most clear, informative and helpful so far. I intend to buy a Charge 3 for my son but there's 1 thing I still don't understand. If you see this plz explain to this tech challenged Mom🙏. If a fitbit is connected to the app via a laptop (not a cel), will outdoor activity still be recorded even if he isn't near the paired device? Does gps track the 'where' only? My ignorance of how gps works is showing as I'm unsure of the difference bw connected gps and built in gps and what difference it makes to the data collection (if any). Apologies if this is common knowledge, I've seen mention of the phone having to be close by if gps isn't built in and remain unsure of the difference. (Have you reviewed the Ace/kid fitbit? I decided against it after seeing all the issues-minimal functions, a weak strap, frustrating setup, connectivity issues w no real resolution, difficulty using kids app etc. I'd love to see your take bc in this video you had all the info it took me 5 other videos to learn, next time I will save time and search you 1st lol). Ty!
Hello Jessica, the outdoor activities can still be tracked (ex. for a walk steps & calories burned will still be tracked), but you will get no GPS data (ex. the route, your pace, accurate distance walked etc.) unless it's connected to a smartphone, and that phone is carried with you during the activity outside. Built in GPS is built into the smartwatch meaning it can track all your outdoor activities without your phone being present. While for connected GPS, three smartwatch does not have GPS built in so it essentially piggybacks off your smartphones GPS to record your GPS data. I have not reviewed the Ace, but I will consider doing that in the future.

My band on the Inspire 3 fits large and looks really industrial, will the metal band for the Luxe interchange on m y Inspire?
Hi, the bands are not interchangeable.
Does the Luxe come with both the regular and chain-link bands or are they sold separately?
Hi endale! Only the Fitbit Luxe Special edition version comes with the Gorjana chain link bracelet & the peony coloured silicone band (the version I have here). If you'd like to buy the regular version it comes with only the silicone bands (other colour options) at a lower cost. If you wanted to buy the Gorjana chain link bracelet separately it costs more that way, compared to when purchased included in the special edition bundle.

Hello, the display on the inspire 3 is brighter and is a bit easier to read in sunlight compared to the inspire 2.
Does your phones GPS need to be on for it to track for steps and some other functions?
Hi Devan, no your phone's GPS doesn't need to be on for that. The GPS only needs to be on for outdoor activity tracking ex. A run.
So any activity done away from the cel will not be recorded? Or just the location of the run/activity isn't there? It still records the steps, heart rate, etc., correct?
It looks like if you search for clip options for Luxe, they exist, so I feel like that is an option now?
Hi Nina, there may be aftermarket clips available, but it won't accurately track your information as a clip since the Luxe doesn't have a clip mode, like the Inspire 3 does.

My concern is can you wear the inspire in the shower? Plus can one swim with it on?
I wear mine in the shower all the time, with no issues. They are also both water resistant can be worn swimming as well.

Stay away from the ocean lol. Toasted mine that way, and a lot of ppl I spoke to had the same experience: went on vacation, went into the ocean, wrecked their fitbit. But Fitbit was willing to send them new ones provided they were under warranty. My fitbit was discontinued/ outside of it, so they offered me a discount on a current product they had :)
Does Fitbit Inspire 3 have calorie burnt tracker.. like you have set a certain goal to burn your calories and it tells you how much you burned? Pls reply. Thank you!
Hello, yes for both you can set one goal. For either calories, steps, active mins or distance.

Hello, I haven't seen any noticeable differences in the fitness tracking accuracy. I've highlighted the main differences here at 02:20 in this video but, they are very similar trackers overall.
Your video was good and informative but please avoid moving the trackers up and down as it was visually distracting - if you can keep your hands on one level while speaking, instead of bringing it too close then far and then close, and then again far from the camera. Thank you.
