@@osumkid2748 Just because Ali is black, or anyone in general, does not mean that they cannot be racist. Anyone can be a racist, no matter what color they are. Ali did say racist things about whites. I learned this from watching a documentary that starred his managers. The reason Ali said racist things is understandable. Ali grew up in the 40s/50s when segregation and racism was still common amungst color folks. He was exposed to both of these things and his hatred for whites grew. He didn't completely hate white though, as he was always a guest in a white man's show. Ali also said racist things after he joined a Muslim cult. Now today's times are different than 60 years ago. Racists still exist but there is no need to shame white people anymore. Sadly, anti-white people exist.

I held his hand, It wasThe hand that put Muhammad Ali ( My hero) on his back.... Joe still had a hang up about Ali, he always said Ali had the complexion for the protection.... I turned round and said to Joe never mind.... In a 100 years there'll still be talking about Joe Fraser and muhammed Ali.... Rest in peace my Brothers, Both of you are champions forever
Joe was amazing. Fearless and would fight anyone or probably anything living. He never ducked anybody. He and Ali will always be the gold standard of boxing rivalries. Ali's words did hurt Joe but they seemed to have gotten past all of that in the end. Smokin Joe..legend!
The most decent man in Boxing a true Christian and what a great fighter RIP Joe.
Smokin Joe is the hardest man to walk the face of the earth.
2 of the All-Time Greatest! I can see them up in heaven with Cosell trying to mediate!
Thanks for the memories Joe and Ali. Both great champions. Enjoy each others company in the great world of the spirits. Arohanui.

JOE FRAZIER - SMOKIN' JOE - #1
Ali, foreman, frazier ,LIST goes on!!! 100 years from now they still talk about these guys
but ALI WILL ALWAYS GET TOP BILLING,... because he deserves it beautiful man in outside the ring RIP ALI
garyr11 Ali was a bit a prick tbh great fighter an did some great things outside the ring but a wouldn't call a beautiful human the stuff he said to frazier was disgusting an racist
James Taylor he took it too far but he didn't mean to hurt joe he was just trying to promote his fights he even apologised to him
James Taylor they were both black what could have ali said that would have been racist.lol.ali was pompous and for good reason, he trumped both foreman and joe eventually. He was so confident in his talent, he rilled his opponents up soo much that when they join him in the ring they would want to kill him dead.
@@hueyfreeman1983 an apology couldn't fix the bullying joe's kids received

THANX SMOKIN JOE 4 THA MEMORIES. A TRUE LEGEND & CHAMPION R.I.P. & MAY GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!
RIP Joe .. you were one of the best boxers ever .. even much better than Forman . But you weren't in your prime when you fought with him , otherwise , it would have been a completely different story . You were and still one of my favorite boxers .
You never threw in the towel champ. Your coach concerned about your wellbeing pulled the plug. Stand proud. RIP
Frazier won the fight of the century, nobody’s gonna take that away from him. He was the kryptonite to the superman that was Ali
Jerome Ley amazing fights but 2-1 in favor of Ali lol. 1st match Frazier, 2 and 3 Ali
Ali always had trouble with short guys. He loved big, bulky, heavy punchers.
The fight of the century because Ali was part of it.
@@Tee1312Jay that goes both ways, the people would not believe Ali when he said "i am the greatest" if he never fought Joe Frazier
@@joshuatree5620 He was proclaimed the Greatest after he fought Sonny Listen when was was the 8:1 underdog, he cemented that when he became the 1st boxer to win the World Champion title for the 3rd time. But don't get me wrong, Joe was one of the Greates and a the STRONGEST contender for Ali. Foreman humiliated Fraser, twice, yet Ali put him down.
True definition of a fighting man. The real life Rocky Balboa
32 Win - 4 Lose
2 against Ali & 2 against Foreman
Aside from that, he is monster that will knock the best boxer in his era
Smokin Joe is one of the toughest boxer in the history

The names Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali will forever be intertwined.
Atleast they both are together once again in heaven. #ripALIandJOE
Rest In Peace and may your legacy live Joe Frazier.
A real champ
Both deserve all our redpect. True legends
Joe Frazier was a quiet man. I remember my mother calling him a "lunchpail fighter." This meant he was a steady reliable hard worker. When you don't have the flash, style, and quit wit you don't get the recognition. God bless Ali and Frazier. May they be in heaven where all gloves are laid to rest.
They don't make more like you anymore sir, RIP Smoking Joe "Lion heart" Frazier
Ali never knocked Joe down
Ali didn't throw bombs and couldn't knockdown Joe.
Ali strengths wasn't his power at all.

Crazy to think that joe will be known for the rest of time. So glad he beat Ali in the first fight. If he lost, he'd be remembered as just another guy Ali beat. RIP Champ.
But lost twice to Ali so at the end Ali has the tall hands
@@tariqalkindi8045 this is what I'm talking about. I'm not even saying Joe is the goat but you people show up and act like I don't know he lost the 2 fights after this.
@@Ffeoli1039 The strange thing that Joe was so tough against Ali as if it was ashamed to lose but if you compared his fight with Forman Joe lost easily & no one will believe he was the guy who fought Ali may be because Joe was taking it so personal with Ali & decided to win or die & you may notice that during interview they fought twice one of them Ali brother separated them
@@tariqalkindi8045 I do agree with that. Put an Ali mask on Foreman and he probably would have put up a better fight.
Joe Frazier is great fighter.

It's tragic how he and Ali got behind fighting and other fighters too all those head blows Joe shook his brains damage speech that alot of damage painful
I agree. It is worth remembering that these men fought during a time period when the Heavyweight division was a virtual murderer's row. A who's who of Champions, ex-Champions, future Champions. These Men were showing the effects..

@@cheetoyeeto1232 down goes frazier
This man deserved better than to have merely been considered the villain against the more beloved fighter.
A gentleman and a sportsman who gave his game everything he had. A good family man as far as I understand (unlike a certain someone else)
I remember how Joe Frazier was vilified as to the first fight with Ali. As far as I am concerned the only fighter to beat Ali when Ali was in his prime and fully prepared (before Ali's beginning physical decline)
In a way Ali is the reason we remember Joe Frazier.
Ali and Joe actually loved each other. They were really good friends.
Joe resented Ali til death.
@@therealc.t.7085 it speaks volumes that frazier's and ali's daughter fought each other confirming the feud continued onto the next generation. Ali was at fault for demeaning frazier, a man who showed him generosity and respect. I heard joe said at the 1992 olympics 'i hope he falls into the flames.' joe harboured resentment over ali mocking the way he spoke. When ali got parkinson disease joe said 'which one of us speaks better now?' i don't think joe ever forgave ali for his verbal abuse.
