Years ago my friends mother was on a plane from NY to Europe. She got involved in a conversation with the man next to her, it was quite a while before she realized it was Ali. She said he was polite, engaging, interesting, and very humble and one of the nicest people she had ever met. What surprised her was that he wasn't at all like the bragging persona he portrayed to the media. She, who couldn't stand boxing, became a big fan of his.

@@MJPamuru20 Yea they came to school with cameras and did you know we were on a TV show called candid camera it was a shoe that did stuff like that of course we were told that told they were doing a small tv show about how kids thought about celebrities of corse they didn't tell us that there was one there they just asked what we thought about him and if we liked him or didn't and what we thought about him and I was going to say I thought Chuck Wepner I believe it was that went the distance and I thought Chuck actually won of course a kid doesn't know. I mean now I know Ali won but back then I just seen wepner go the distance and thought he won because I didn't know hoemw to score boxing of course at that age no one did I just thought wepner won and i was going to say that to the camera guy but then Ali showed up and I couldn't say it to his face i was scared he'd make me look like he made wepner and I didn't want that. But I took it as cool as a cucumber and so did he and I still have the autographed glove he gave all of us who were in the TV show part. And I belive after that he spoke for a few minutes in the auditorium and it is a cherished memory ill keep as long as I'm alive.

Anybody who ever had any doubt, about how special Ali was, I wish you could have the experience of seeing him interact with children.
Not on television, but in real life, on the street.
He could always put a frightened child at ease.
But the most amazing thing he could do, on a regular basis, was make a baby who had been crying incessantly, immediately stop when he approached that baby.
It was really something to behold.
And I believe it was something not of this earth.
Gods, all of them, bless Muhamed Ali.

The white kid with the shaggy blonde hair at the end was so composed he looked like a seasoned interviewer that had been there and done that all before, the kid wasn't fazed at all even when he was in his face. Kid said "I'm here to do a job and the job I will do 😂😂😂

Lol The kid was complimenting Ali trying to say it is good to be confident rather than be unsure of oneself, overly critical of oneself, and he got scared, worried that Ali did not understand what he meant to say. That is funny.

I never met Ali, never even got a glimpse of him. In 1977 I lived in L.A. and he had a friend (girlfriend?) across the street. I always knew when he was visiting because there would be a couple of Rolls Royce parked outside. Wish I had at least seen him once. Would've made my day. :-)
