Great video and style tips! My favorite brands of Wide leg jeans and trousers are from Old Navy and American Eagle... Which both have good short and petite sizes... Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Pyt💕😊 I know Chico’s was a surprise to me. But I love the size range and fit they have in bottoms. You gotta try it out and let me know what you think.
Great tips, Liz! I have two pairs of wide-leg jeans from the Scoop brand at Wal-Mart that I've had for probably three years now, so I'm glad to see they're still trending. When I started wearing mine at work (retired now), everyone else was still wearing skinny jeans! 😅
Oohhh the skinny jeans I kind of cringe when I see myself in those looking back 🤣 I have heard Walmart had some nice options, unfortunately for me Walmart and several other affordable store similar don’t carry long and so I have to search wider. But this is good to know for the petites out there! Thank you Rose!!❤️😊
Good morning, Liz. I've just recently gotten into the wide leg jean style. I'm guilty of baggy over baggy. I'm just more comfortable. I prefer doing a front tuck if the top is oversized. I love American Eagle jeans, since they offer short sizes. Nothing is ever low rised on me, being short waisted. I prefer a mid rise as well. I think if the jeans are too long, they look sloppy. Rag&Bone were my go to for skinny jeans. I haven't worn them in months, says the woman who was never going to stop wearing skinny jeans, LOL. Thanks for the video. Enjoy your Sunday. 💞💞
@@StylishandGratefulI remember when I thought I'd never wear skinny jeans. 😅 You are so right. Like everything else, they'll make a comeback! Front or side tucking is the best! My husband hates it, but what does he know! Men just don't get fashion. 🤦♀️
I just bought a pair of wide leg off white jeans at Kohl's the Draper James fit perfect, and were on sale plus Kohl's cash got them under $25 I was so please, I also bought from Chicos the kick flare and love them also.
Have you tried American Eagle Stretch high waisted Stovepipe utility pants? Quality is great (size 1 down as stretch is really good) and the fit is great too! The leg is wide but not obnoxiously wide. Good for us older generation who want to stay on trend but not look sloppy. Slimming too which is what I look for ALWAYS 🤭.
Think it depends on your general style and shape....I love distressed worn denim and have done for years long before the recent-ish re revival ......but it's what you feel comfortable is it not.... if you don't care for it don't wear it....
At 5FT 11IN tall I'm never going to find jeans or trousers long enough now that New York and Company is gone😮....they all are just a tad or a lot too short...story of my life I guess....
Great suggestions from others, I'd also suggest trying out a western wear store. My grandma and a cousin were both over 6' tall. They swore by Wrangler, and my cousin also found some styles in the Lucky brand that she loved.
The point of the wide leg is to accentuate the smaller waistline. The leg width should be moderately wide. And then if the waistline sits high on the torso, it can really make the waist look small by comparison. Obviously you need to reveal the waistline, not conceal it under a baggy top.
There is a rule for all women. I can't wear a long dress or one that hits knee to just below. I can wear tea length or above the knee. Trends come and go, wear what makes you happy and suits you in "your" mirror. I have a loose tapered ankle leg from Old Navy. If you're interested in trying. I do have long legs but the cut may work for you.
Agreed. Even though I have long legs, I have a short torso, so wide leg overwhelms me. I opt for BOOT CUT and STRAIGHT bc they’re leaner in the hips & knees, which flatter me.
Wide leg denim is still a big no for me. I don't need the extra 20 pounds. Thank goodness for straight leg denim. Definitely love the higher waist, so flattering and comfortable. It is interesting to hear how opinionated people are about this issue. I hear more people disliking wide legs than liking them.
I’m not a fan of cropped pants personally, but it would depend on the season. If your ankle is out it should be a slimmer more delicate elongating shoe.🌻
My favorite wide leg jeans are my Free People Moxie barrel jeans, and my vintage American Eagle hipster wide leg jeans.

Glad you liked it 😊💕 and thank you for the recommendations for petite/short options.🌻
Hi Liz, Great tips. I love wide leg pants, hope they hang around for a long time.❤
Morning Joann 😊💕I hope so too!
Wide leg denim and wide leg trousers...I 💖💖 them all! 😊😎 I feel that I need a trip to the mall...to get to Chico's. ☺ Tfs 🌿🌺🌿

@@StylishandGrateful I most certainly will, Liz! 😊💕 Have a wonderful week! 🌿🌸🌿

I got one of my favorite and comfortable wide leg jeans (in grey) a few years back. They’re washing and wearing well
I love mine from old navy!
My Old Navy jeans are my favorite as well!
Ok 👍 I’ll need to check them out too 😎🌻
Wide leg, high risejeans are the best thing that ever happened to me. I am a long waisted, petite pear.
I love my Old Navy Wow wide leg jeans
I like that style too and they have been on sale.
I’m totally motivated for an Old Navy haul!😎🌻
I liked those too, but they never have my size.
Hi, I have about 5 pairs of wide leg denim that I purchased this year. The ones from Chico’s are my favorite too!
Nice! They’re so soft and comfy!🌻😊

Morning Rene 😊💕 Just a tiny tuck and you can still wear an oversized look. It is comfy.🌻 ohhh the skinny jean…. I’m sure it’ll be back someday again😁

I do love a wide leg cropped (I'm 5'10") and I always get compliments and get asked where I got them!
I’m loving this wide leg pants trend!
My wide leg jeans from Chico’s soft denim are very comfortable and my new one is a barrel leg jean from Free People which I adore

That wallpaper is lovely ❤
Hey thanks for being so down to earth! Good info, I’m just now getting into wide-legs as I’m 61 and live in Indiana 😂
Happy to help! And thank you! 😊
Thank you as always. So helpful
You are so welcome!🌻😊

I’m SO HAPPY to see skinny jeans and jeggings go into the garbage pile
Haha I agree 😉🌻
Latest runways are featuring skinny jeans. They’re not going anywhere!
Old Navy or GAP are where I get mine
I keep hearing this! I’ll need to check those out💕😊
I've never understood wearing jeans that look like rags. ( or buying something that someone else ripped up .)
I always thought it was designed for the young people. I don’t think adults can get away with it.
That wall paper is lovely ❤

I rock distressed style all the time. It’s all in how it’s put together & how you carry yourself.
Jeans are like swimsuits. Wear whatever you feel comfortable & it fits your style.

There’s a few brands that have really long inseams that come to my mind; Bootbarn, GAP, JCrew, MOTHER, PAIGE.
@@StylishandGratefultry American Eagle, they have extra long. I’m a size 4 with a 36” inseam and I love AE.
Great suggestions from others, I'd also suggest trying out a western wear store. My grandma and a cousin were both over 6' tall. They swore by Wrangler, and my cousin also found some styles in the Lucky brand that she loved.
Free people jeans run long

Good advice
Glad you think so! Thank you for watching and commenting😊🌻
I love my wife leg jeans. I found them at J CPenney for a steal. They have a medium rise and wash.
Medium rise works for me as I’ve got shorter torso; the weight of the pants is better balanced
Wide legs are a no no for short people with short legs .
🤔

I like Susan Graver from QVC
Thank you 😊🌻
I’m still searching for the perfect one that doesn’t make my waist look too short
The rules, bottom wide Top fit, with pointed shoos,or sandals.
Any shoe suggestions for a wide legged, cropped slack. I bought them for summer; but they are so comfy I’d like to wear them in the fall and winter
I’m not a fan of cropped pants personally, but it would depend on the season. If your ankle is out it should be a slimmer more delicate elongating shoe.🌻
I think the way oversized look sloppy. Just me thoughts
Wide leg only look nice on skinny women., if you have a big belly and no waist, stay away! period!
