If so how do I know which batteries to purchase sorry For the rapid questioning just got excited once I seen your channel lol CTFu
I’ve never tried new batteries with the old motor, but in theory, you should be able to use new 2s lipos as long as the amps don’t go too high. They would make the car run for longer, and probably would have slightly better speed and much better acceleration. (Again assuming it doesn’t blow up from having too many amps.) If you want to try the batteries, they’re these ones here: banggood.com/ZOP-Power-7_4V-1500mAh-40C-2S-Lipo-Battery-XT60-Plug-p-1085890.html?rmmds=search&act_poa=SKU456269&cur_warehouse=CN (Be careful though.) @@hilfiger.__hendrix._2181 And yes the stock batteries aren’t very good so new batteries would definitely be better as long as it doesn’t over power it.
There are a few options available from the Pxtoys website. They won’t give more speed, but they will run longer. Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact specs of the stock esc so I don’t know if there are any aftermarket batteries that will give more power on the stock esc. I think you need to upgrade the motor and esc to run a more powerful one. If you want an easy upgrade that gives speed, I’d recommend swapping the bushings out with bearings! They make the car much faster and smoother.
Are you running the stock motor and esc? A 7.4 volt battery should work. That being said, a 5200 mah LiPo is a massive battery, so it’s possible that it won’t fit inside the car.
