    Big thanks to M Petkov who commented in the original video that the throttle body butterfly needs to be fully closed (by winding out the red idle adjuster) when measuring the TPS closed voltage (set to 0.4V). This update video video shows the correct method .

    Your video is by far better than the TSP video on this subject. More detailed and descriptive. Thanks for taking the time to make it. It helped me pair mine to my bike.

    Hey Mark after watching this i ordered the ERM kit / head for my 2024 xc ( medium comp head with the trail map) i fitted a 9 oz steahley flywheel pulley weight beforehand ,this bike is so smooth and tractable over loose rocks ,square edges etc going uphill it almost feel like my other bike with rekluse clutch lol,i am very impressed, Dave at Two Stroke performance really knows what he is doing ,for me this is the best 300 i have ever ridden if it doesnt get any better than this than so be it.

    Is the green map generally leaner and the white map richer? I like the white map in most conditions and wondering which direction to go with basic settings to increase power response with green map...

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  4 місяці тому

      Yes, the white map is richer than the green map. If you want the white map to be closer to the green map try decreasing the fueling.

    Hi mate, I just got the ERM a medium head, when I set the ERM up I only paired it to the bike I presumed that uploaded the maps automatically? Do I need to plug it back in and flash the maps onto the white and green maps separately? Thanks

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  11 місяців тому +2

      Yes, reconnect the ERM to your bike, select the Tune menu, select the TSP tune and flash it to your bike. Both the Green and White maps are flashed at the same time (you do not need to flash twice).

    Do you know if the ERM can be used to reset the power valve or clear the adapted values? Or do you still need to use the dongle and throttle input?

    Does the oil injection TBI delete require any adjustments or special to the TSP stock maps?

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  7 місяців тому +1

      Running premix instead of oil injection will result in it running very slightly leaner. I use premix 60:1 (high octane pump gasoline and Motorex Crosspower 2T oil) so the difference is very small and run the baseline TSP map with no issue. But if you purchase the ERM version it does give you the ability to adjust the fueling if you find it necessary.

      @@TokyoOffroad thanks. Have you left the fueling alone, or richened it? Do you feel like your new TBI had less power than your TPI?

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  7 місяців тому +1

      @@grutzmac - I’m running the TSP baseline map with no adjustments. My TBI has much stronger bottom end power than TPI. Mid power is about the same. Topend power TPI might be stronger, but for my riding it’s really not that important. The stronger bottom end power makes it lot easier for me to ride. Power feels very linear.

    Do you know if the 6 pin connector under the seat is still a diagnostic connector as well on the 2024 xcw, I’m assuming it is. I was hoping to use a cheaper obd style unit to check for codes.

    • @alang3991

      It is the diagnostic connector. From what I understand, the only things available that will read and clear codes are the dealer scan tool and the ERM.

    Just wondering, does the ERM work with the stock head? Thanks.

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  22 дні тому +1

      Yes, no problem. The stock head is lower compression than the TSP medium comp head so won't perform quite the same though. The ERM allows you to adjust the fueling (and ignition & PV) if you're not completely happy with the TSP base map. It's a great tool to have...

      @TokyoOffroad great, thank you. I have just bought a 2025 te300, straight away I feel/hear that part throttle between throttle on and off or held there, a burble or stuttering.

    What did you adjust in the mapping? Just download a redy map from tsp? Can you make a map by yourself?

    • @TokyoOffroad

      In the video I flashed the baseline Two Stroke Performance map to my ECU. You can adjust the fueling, ignition and power valve. I left everything at the default settings. The basic mode has course adjustment settings. The pro mode (needs to be purchased) has much finer adjustment control over rpm and throttle open. I'll make more videos later to show the features in more detail...
