Yeah, I moved onto a larger CNC machine project, and this machine got passed on to another workshop member. Sorry for the frustrating lack of completion.
Hello Michael,How much accuracy or improvement did changing out the corner plates with 1/4" plates give your Xcarve ?I'm trying to improve the stiffness of my machine and wonder if this would be a good thing to do or not.
Can't wait for part 2/3
Loved the video. Very interested to see how you increase the Z travel in part 2.
When are you expecting to post the next video?
Thanks
I have examined your modification and I approve! Please tell me you guys will sell the upgraded parts! I am very interested!

Cool!!! Nice Work!!!
I would love to see an update on this. Were you able to make the z axis modifications?
This might be exactly what i need. What is the highest object you can now put under it? approx 14cm i think?
Did you have enough length on the Z-axis acme-threaded rod to use all 5-3/4" of height? Or did you have to replace that acme rod as well?
So the series never materialized? That's too bad.

Did you post the next video? I ned to do this with my X-Carve to :)
