My parents bought me this for Christmas and it is one of my favorite devices ever! I love coffee, but have only ever done pour overs, not wanting to spend a lot on an espresso machine. But with this device I can make a shot of espresso easily!
I've just seen these and thought, 'what a brilliant idea, a hand-held espresso maker'. Then I watched this video and realised you need to have a kettle with you too (and even recommends having a set of scales). Looks like a hell of a lot of effort for a shot of coffee. Much simpler to make at home and put in a small flask, less of a novelty but far easier. When they make one that heats the water too, I'll consider getting one.
Well, I plan to get one and use it for the office, where only instant coffee is available. Getting the hot water is not the main issue in that situation, but getting good coffee is!
