  • Rear Slap Out:
    1. You’ve received a shove or strike to the front of your body and are falling backwards, unable to stay standing.
    2. Bend your legs to sit down backwards directly on the ground and bring both bent arms up in front of you as you fall.
    3. Hold your chin against your chest to prevent the back of your head from impacting the ground.
    4. Sit first and then roll onto your back to lay down as you slap the ground with both of your palms and forearms held at approximately a 45-degree angle or less from the sides of your body (dispersing the energy over a greater surface area to help prevent injury).
    5. Roll to one side facing the standing opponent in front of you, propping yourself on one forearm, and keeping the other hand up in front of your face for defense, with knees bent.
