Here's a bonus tip. At the location of any of the memorial stones that Zelda set up, if you go to the spot directly under them in the depths there will be a large pillar with three weapon holding shadows on top making it a great place to get pristine weapons
Yeah man even after a year of playing I’m still learning new things about the depths. Like I just a couple days ago finally noticed that every lightroot in the depths is exactly underneath a shrine of light on the surface (they even have the same name but reversed). This has been invaluable for locating shrines on the surface or lightroot in the depths
I've used muddlebuds on yiga. You just gotta make absolutely sure you hit them, like with an arrow fuse And there's literally a quest that ends with learning that you can boil eggs in the hot springs
Also, the 4 elements (fire, ice, electric, water) along with dazzlefruit all work against Gibdos. Everyone plz try using a 3 shot bow with a ruby/topaz against Gloom Hands. It's a 1 shot if u shoot right in the middle of the group
@chachiem its very nice, however I try to avoid using sapphires because it doesnt kill them only freezes them, and I've had them break out and get me when I went up close to finish them while frozen
@chachiem dang that must be nice. Every time I used a sapphire it would happen and it would be SO annoying to run up and kill 2 or 3 then have the others break out and grab me, giving the killed ones time to rise once more
I just use a drone covered in metal spikes and an electric emitter making it a tazer trap that follows any enemies. Hands dead in less than 2 seconds, only 15 zonite.
theres 1 korok in botw near the great deku tree that, if you shoot it with a bow and arrow, itll disappear and wont reappear until you completely reload the area, though ive only actually tried it with that korok. so, in essence, you have technically killed that korok
About the one about the koroks in the forest and the stalboko arm: The Person, that they Freak out is not that bone, it actually comes from the ultrahand, that you use to hold it. You can hold anything towards them with ultrahand and they react like this. Every npc has this reaction on objects, that are grabbed with ultrahand
Doesn't have to be just a flame gleeok horn, dragon horn, dragon shards, elemental lizalfos horns and I believe elemental like like stones work as well.
I managed to do this EXACTLY once, but I used a 5 shot lynel bow fused with ancient arrows to take down all Gloom Hands at the same time. Had them at the PERFECT angle and it was SO satisfying, especially since I wasn't even trying to kill them all at once
I discovered when building that although the limit to items you can connect to something is 21 items, you can throw on as many Brightbloom seeds as you want! This is especially handy to making a very bright exploration vehicle if you haven't unlocked all of the areas in the depths. The key way to making this work is you must THROW them onto your build where they bloom automatically. This will work infinitely even if you have 21 items on one single build.
The Husdon shield is a really funny attention to details. The Devs really thought, "people might fuse this to shields" and created code accordingly. It's honestly impressive.
Here's a cheat you can do with the gloom hands to avoid fighting with gloom hands: if u stand on a platform that's not big anoph for the gloom hands to teleport to you and also make sure that it can't just walk up to u and if u stay there long anough the gloom hands will scream and then disappear and dropping a dark clump or 2 and it will not respawn till the next blood moon
About giving the dog a stalboko bone: It's the same as with the koroks in the woods. They are all scared from using ultrahand to move the Item, not from the Item itself. You can offer them every Item you want with ultrahand and get the same scared reaction.
While the minecarts do work, my go-to shield fuse was a slab of frozen meat. It goes even faster, still lets you grind on rails, and works on terrain that the wheeled minecart has issues with.
“You like to dance close to the flame don’t ya?” Oblivion or Skyrim or some other Elder Scrolls I think I remember I played the games a lot. Like many others!
one of the funniest things to do with the moldugas is to hit them with a muddle bud right as it wakes up. They run around aimlessly, and anyone with good aim has a good chance to hit them with a bomb arrow. This can help to avoid the annoying habit of luring them out
Using the water shield to protect yourself from a bomb fruit's auto-explosion is like holding shield to not take damage when using the Bomb Mask in Majora's Mask. lol
While playing this in the background, I just discovered that riju isn’t her full name. It’s Makeela riju. It says to in the thunder helm journal in the yiga hideout. I never knew that!
The thing with bringing riu a sandseal plushy and she says "Patrizia" is true, if she does not have a sidequest left for you and you bring her the big blue one by simple carrying it ontop of your head (instead of ultrahand).
4:08 easier way to do it, pull out paraglider and let go of the left stick, press up on dpad and find the wing then hold up on the left stick and press x to drop the wing then just press b like half a second later and you will land on the wing
can we all just take a moment to appreciate the lengths this man went through to test these myths, we all thank you Willy, I can't wait to see what you do next. Also this is something you can do in your own time just to see if it works, I found that fusing a keese wing to an arrow is much better for fighting the gleeok especially in their 2nd phase, again this is not for a myth just something you can see for yourself.
11:54 you can actually kill a korok, by feeding it to a molgula, they will actually eat it. granted that the korok does respawn, this is a way to technically kill it
The true band of gloom hands is a wall. Link can climb, they can't. You just gotta wait a few seconds and they get upset at you and do a move I can only imagine is their way of saying "you know when I'm out of here" before just dying leaving behind their dark clumps. It won't spawn phantom gannon but it deals with them easily.
If Nintendo makes a 3rd game, I think it should be a dark world, like A Link to the Past, where the monsters are allies and you befriend one of each race to assist in defeating a brand new big bad

I really wish you put all the new ones at the beginning... I've been here since the start of this series, I don't want to sit through 3 hours of stuff I've already seen to be able to see the 15 minutes of new myths scattered randomly throughout 😭
problem with that is, people will watch the 20 new myths, leave, and the average audiance rention will become terrible and so the video does really bad
First things first... excellent work making this video, i can only imagine the time it took to make, I'm lucky i found the time to sit and watch the whole thing with it being so long, when you first mentioned making this final Tears Of The Kingdom myth busting video i expected it to take longer than it has... Watching this has been the highlight of my day, thank you for testing my "banana boomerang" idea, seeing that it actually was included in this despite hundreds of potentially better suggestions to choose from actually made me smile and laugh which i really needed after the very long day I've had... It's a shame the myth i suggested turned out to be false, looking back on it i guess it was a long shot but it would have been kinda hilarious if it did work... Thank you for testing my myth, i really appreciate it and enjoyed watching this video, i look forward to seeing you cover different games with myth busting videos
thanks for watching it all i mean its quite the video and you have seen all the older ones as well, and yeah sad that it didnt work but hey still interesting and yeah, next thing on the chopping block is super mario bros wonder, and for now some inbetween vids
6:35 - 7:00 butter will fail, but if you fuse any icy meat (frozen prime meat, etc) to a shield and surf on it, it will glide a lot better - almost like there's zero friction.
Idk why people complaining about the video length. Don't like it or don't want to have it on in the background while playing totk, then don't. No one's forcing you. This is my second time watching this, because it's entertaining. I'm not learning anything new from it.
Also the stalnox eye dazzle fruit thing is a lie. It is based on the damage to the body at the time being 50% or less. That is how the eye falls out. Any normal arrow does this. Nothing to do with dazzlefruit. 2:08:56
I'm not sure you know this, but if you let the rock octoroks from death mountain suck in your weapon, your shield, or your bow, then it'll give it a bonus and repair it completely, no matter how much damage it has. If the item already has a bonus you don't like, then it can change the bonus too. However, this only works one time per octorock in death mountain per blood moon. This can be useful if you never want to lose anything, or if you want to chance powering up a good weapon. This unfortunately doesn't work with gloom weapons though. It'll work with almost everything else however, even good lynel weapons. Also, there's a way to build a very cheap but stable hover bike in the game in such a way that you can fly anywhere with ease and it uses almost no energy. This thing is nice and it could be your ultimate method of travel in the game. It only takes two fans and one steering wheel built in a certain way. Place the steering wheel first, then attach a fan on the front and back of it in a way where the bike slants a bit forwards. It takes some practice to line it up perfectly though. Jump on and Link should fly forwards. With enough control and work, it could fly very well. Just, don't crash it into anything or Link will go flying off. XD Furthermore, you can find the twilight bow from twilight princess on the top of Hyrule Castle just chillin' there if you climb high enough. Although, for some reason, it had a name change. It respawns every blood moon too, but only if you don't have it in your inventory. It's a great weapon to start your adventure with.
25:30 In another video i saw one, who sucessfully managed to transport bokos and other enemies ans npc's up to a sky-island. Than this person pushed them off from the edge and jumped after them to watch them fall. This was packend into a story about skydiving lessons for them.
you can add bee hives to a magic wand and it will summon bees upon your enemies (and yourself) you can prevent things from despawning by attaching a dragon part. this increases the despawn distance to 2000 units. pretty sure you can boil eggs in the hot springs. here is a useful one: You can fuse firewood to an arrow and shoot it towards a korok or anything else that you want to move. Then fuse the korok to the firewood and use recall on the firewood. this will move the firewood, and the attached korok, quickly to where you shot from originally. it doesn't work if the target is too heavy, but koroks work. it's great for moving them across gaps or up steep cliffs.
I dont know if anyone suggested this, but one day I didn't have an ax to break some boxes. So I just used God Hand and Lift the box high and let gravity do the work lol.
Best item to fuse to a boomerang is a Gleeock horn. It sprays out elemental damage as it flies through the air. Doesnt work with other elemental materials, only Gleeock horns.
Just was listening to the part where you were talking about. Keysides being attached to swords or things. I think the key part we should test is. If the attached device, the key is attached to something that is given the attribute of throwing like a throwing spear or a throwing sword has to have the attribute before it can work with it.!
I feel like the thing about the Clorox the green little guys that you have to bring to their friends, are just cursed with invincibility, because of how much they get tortured they probably want to die at this point.
Fun fact, you can break ore by throwing a rock at it. You have to be really close to it and sometimes it takes like 10 throws before it breaks but it does work 100%!!!
Well dang. Great video of course. But now it looks like I'll have to find a way to see if Constructs will attack npcs if they're close enough on my own. But unfortunately I am not able to do that. Aside from that there is still much for you to discover and test.
You talked about duel wielding weapons, technically there is a way to hold two weapons at the same time, it's called zuggling, i think it's patched in the latest update.
Cooking in the water worked in botw but I only cooked eggs in it. But you should see if a light dragon piece would kill the gloom hands. I'm going to go try right now.
An interesting one i just discovered is that if you get struck by lightning and it hits an enemy it will one shot it ( i tried it with a silver moblin)
I have my own myth to prevent gloom hands from chasing you. Climbing up on a tree or any surface the gloom hands cant reach you on after some time the gloom hands will disappear and you will not have to deal with phantom gannon.
Spoiler alert, jump from 3 m hight and use the glider, press pause and grab 1 or 5 things from your inventory, then press y and b at the same time and wola, you now have 2 or 10 things, All must be the same sort
I have a theory as to why some like bokoblins and constructs enemies cant use devices. While constructs have this mysterious energy they lack power cells like the friendly constructs do. The others that can i'm unsure.
No they are scattered through out, it's gonna be a bit of scavenger hunt to find them ;) Also.if I just put all of them at the end or something it would most likely effect the video negatively
Actually, I might be able to tell if this one is true, because if you are fighting queen gibdo, trowing a dazzle fruit will do damage (1 damage) and this goes for arrows fused with it too.
Here is the ULTIMATE mythbusting collection! I hope you all like it!

also your right its a curse
Fun fact, you can break ore by throwing a rock at it. You have to be really close to it and sometimes it takes like 10 throws before it breaks but it does work 100%!!!
I used the minecart to get past built for rails shrin
Well dang. Great video of course. But now it looks like I'll have to find a way to see if Constructs will attack npcs if they're close enough on my own. But unfortunately I am not able to do that. Aside from that there is still much for you to discover and test.
yeah i know so much left, but im really done with totk tbh, wanna move on from it, thats how life is
All elemental attacks can break the Gibdos armor, not just lightning. I also found that you seem to swim faster while link has no clothes on.
You talked about duel wielding weapons, technically there is a way to hold two weapons at the same time, it's called zuggling, i think it's patched in the latest update.
Awesome Video Bro!
cheers!
Cheers.
Try attaching a bundle of wood to a shield to test if the wood is usable whenever you drop the shield.
just a question, what if u give a bokoblin a ancient arrow head sword and confuse him so he hits other bokoblins? will the other bokoblin dissapear?
screenshotted this!
Shield-surfing on rails is effectively the same as shield-surfing on sand or snow as far as durability is concerned.
I have my own myth to prevent gloom hands from chasing you. Climbing up on a tree or any surface the gloom hands cant reach you on after some time the gloom hands will disappear and you will not have to deal with phantom gannon.
yeah this is a built in protection of sorts
Im not even 40 minutes in and learned a million quality of life improvements i didnt know existed. Nintendo thought of everything
Also, you can’t fool me, there’s a Weegee in that hoverstone! 39:56
oehhhh sharp, they are all over the vid, they are small easter eggs
Spoiler alert, jump from 3 m hight and use the glider, press pause and grab 1 or 5 things from your inventory, then press y and b at the same time and wola, you now have 2 or 10 things, All must be the same sort
Btw duo to video analysis I have found out the ancient hero's aspect armer isn't just resamblaeing a normal animal but actually a DRAGON!
what do you mean exactly?
Here's a myth, if you get all the shrines then talk to the fairys with upgrade your stuff
Just a quick note, you can shield surf down all rails without using a minecart!
simply snaps a pretty good youtuber made a two episode series where he ended up beating all dungeons without the surface text showing up once
hold up, looking at the path of the boomerang, it DOES in fact fly higher in the updraft, it just goes back down when it leaves the air current
If you fuse something that replaces the blade in the boomerang it still works even with a normal blade
Boomerangs with heavy things usually fall for me, odd that it didn’t happen for you, maybe I just remember them falling when they didn’t
Maybe try a boulder on it
this is in the video
I have a theory as to why some like bokoblins and constructs enemies cant use devices. While constructs have this mysterious energy they lack power cells like the friendly constructs do. The others that can i'm unsure.
tbh good point, makes sense they dont have any energy cells so they cant power anything
The mid air glider is a-lot easier, just stop moving forward pull it out and when your out of the menu go forward and stop gliding ta da!
bro thinks honey is slippery
bro, it is
@@drwily its sticky
There absolutely is a way to make something increase greatly the despawning distance and it's fusing a dragon part.
No timestamps for the 20 new ones? 🙁
No they are scattered through out, it's gonna be a bit of scavenger hunt to find them ;)
Also.if I just put all of them at the end or something it would most likely effect the video negatively
that's what i was hoping for. i've been here since day 1, man, don't make me sift through a 3-hour video to find the new material...
@@dietotakuI think you’ll be okay.
Actually, I might be able to tell if this one is true, because if you are fighting queen gibdo, trowing a dazzle fruit will do damage (1 damage) and this goes for arrows fused with it too.
