The Smallest RC Engine In The WORLD!

- Опубліковано 2 бер 2012
- I met Ronald Valentine recently and he says he makes the smallest combustion engines in the world. I am not the expert here, but I must say he holds the title so far as I can see. His smallest engine is less than the size of an American quarter coin and I am really impressed.
You can visit Ronald's website and make your own decision, but from my view he has made some really fine engines.

I certainly wouldn't let that reporter pick my engine up and bounce it around in his hand like that.
RR67890 yes what was up with that. I would of screamed at him for that. Seriously those are precision machines not to be mishandled like that.
They're aluminum and weigh probably a few grams. Even uf it fell, nothing's gonna happen. And they don't have all the mechanics of a 4 stroke, so even less to worry about. If anything, the seller can show off how well made his engines are, that they're perfectly fine if the are dropped or crashed in rc flying
@@keithm5224 i wouldent be mad i mean if you brake it you buy it
If these were that fragile, the stress of operation would tear them apart.
lol.... your not serious are you?
This guy is unbelievably amazing what his skill level is. That is a master of his craft for sure would love to be able to hang out for a couple hours and talk engines with him.
to those commenting on the high price remember he said these are machined on manual equipment i.e. no cnc's, made by hand and not by mass production factories bordered by suicide nets. I think the prices are reasonable
do you think you can make a video of your smallest engine runing?
+Josiah Aston I agree. Actually i find it odd that there is no vid so far.
jo3lsweden and a year later..still no vid
Yeah i agree
J's WorkShop running* dumbfuck
@@MultiGator has that changed yet?
Imagine 2000 of those in a car
That wuld be a good saund
I'VE GOT BEES IN MY BONNET
2,000 Nanos would add up to 12CC or a 0.74 cubic inch. That's half of a weed-eater.
perfect for rc planes , German engineering is always impressive.
Well, not engineering simulation games.
Yes they are, But one small engine costs $330....you can buy a car engine for that much
da138471 better mpg
Aeronautical I expected them to be Swiss made
Hitler depended on German engineering, and you failed him!
Yeah that's crazy!!
I have a few of Ron's little engines I have a blitz 0.05cc and DiVa 0.098cc I actually flew the latter on an airplane for a little while with a parkzone brick in it for control of the plane. These engines have no throttle, they are all compression ignition "diesel" engines, the Nano bee is 0.006cc and will set you back $500 it weighs only 1 gram.
You should get one if you can, Ron is a true craftsman and a great guy to do business with.
Indra
Unreal man! Absolutely cool..,I've got to check him out.I would love to see the little one running.
Thanks
All my life I dreamt of miniature engines like these. I m glad they exist.
Would be a nice engine for a micro airplane.
I'd really like to see them run, can you make a video ? That would be awesome !
keep up the good work Ronald!
Wow, that's crazy, and amazing, I'm completely mind blown! Holy crap, great video and you should review these someday!
This is watchmaking. Very impressive stuff.
nice
The Chinese export functioning multi-cylinder engines of all sorts, some only inches long. Routinely.
AMAZING!!! I'd love to see the nano running on a plane! (Paper aireplane?)
Great work Eric! Thumbs up!
AMAZING! great work!
OMG!! Those are so cool. I want one. Thanks for sharing.
Holy crud. That's amazing. Could power very tiny drones on very little fuel.
Holy fuck this dude makes these with a lathe....impressive
How else would he make them
That's extraordinary!
Camera guy has very nice wedding ring. love it.
yer I noticed that to nice
Wasn't it?
This is his boyfriend present.
finaly i know how ronald looks..I adore his work and speak topo him also by phone.I got also some of his great engines...each is a peace of art!
Too cool! I wonder how small the plane that the engine goes on is? ;) I would love to see it fired up and in action. Thanks for sharing bud and as always, happy flying!
The Tee Dee .010 was a runner at 39,000 RPM. Until I see one of these engines run, they are all show no go.
I don't think they run, at least I see no way for the twins to run - they would have no crankcase compression and therefore would not be able to run.
Perfect job!!!!
This is really awesome for people who want a diesel locomotive train set.
She: So uhm, how big is it?
Him: It's 0.001 lt engine
She: omg, please revv it for me
Looks cool. I would like to see a video of one running on a plane, but couldn't find one.
When I was a kid on the dairy farm in the 70’s i was annoyed by the many flies id have to shoe away with my hands so I imagined a future in which they could make tiny fighter jets that would chase and shoot down flies.
Wow that's awesmazing
Wow That is so cool
WOW!!!! I'd LOVE to see someone build some "OPPOSED PISTON" Diesel R/C Engines!!!!
these are amazing
Super cool
The Nano Bee is like a little jewel.
If you hid many of these within the tubes in a frame of a biycycle and hooked them all together, would you be able to move a perspn
Awesome little motors. Too bad his website is down as i would like to purchase a few.
wanna see them run!!!
I would love to see one of these little guys run and one on a rc plane
Wow. One of a kind, thats like the guy that builds 1/18scale model car carriers
Wow very nice
Wow that's cool
Those are beautiful and I'd love to work with one, invent the fitting airframe. Balsa wood of course.
That is amazing
coojsta69 ये अऐनजी कहा। मीलेग। That is। Amazing
still has more power then a Honda. 😊
Wat? Honda ftw
+Dami Nooki Yet not as strong as a Nokia...
It's more reliable than a Honda
+Jack Carroll Hondas are actually really reliable vehicles, and motorcycles
DaffiestHail54
love it ..
I would like to install a nano Diesel engine to power the electric motor inside a HO Scale locomotive. Would that make the smallest diesel-electric locomotive? I don't know how one would control it, or finding a suitable altinator, but at least you wouldn't need to worry about dirty tracks.
AWESOME!!!!! I think the baby bee .049 was a tiny motor, CONGRATULATION
it's very cool if those tiny engines be able to work
these do
Thank You.
I love tiny engines have me an old rc motor properly put away for the day I can afford a big plane haha in the mean time I've been playing around with mini steam engines sure would be cool to find a way to add it into a plane.
what was the displacement?
To cool!
now I wanna see a mini 16v dohc vtec version!
Amazing tiny
@electricrc68 very hard to do! It is hard to get a glowplug that small, these are diesel (compression ignition) so no glowplug is used.
Incredible! What could you use them for?
Your right I agree with you... why have I or anyone else thought of that
Nice ring :)
are they 2 stroke? What fuel they use?
I want to see one of these on a Parkzone Vapor
Can I take it for my gasser mcpx ? Loool 😄😄😄 just amazing
Fairly incredible . I have no idea what I would do with it but I'd still like to have one .
That is cool wow :)
Nice...engine
I'd love to see it run........
.muito top
@MrGsheard I don't know. The link to his website is in the video notes though.
Estan a la venta. Donde ?
The website does'nt work, where can i buy one of these small engines
Isn't it incredible how us men find something so small that works just amazing!
I am building a foam plastic radio controlled mosquito, I wonder if I can lease one of these little guys....
it is very interesting ... how can I make it? please I want learn .
Someone needs to make a mini drone with the small ones that wound be sweet!!!!
how are they made?
@Stucknarutt Me too. Thanks for watching.
Sick! No CNC, that's awesome.
Where are buy it?
AWESOME!!!!! I think the baby bee .049 was a tiny motor.
N1 man Nice engineering
hello! where did you meet him?
@poerik Ronald does some really fine work.
Prices are $250-$1400! Damn!
Do they run?
@@arturos.l.2248 of course
Could you put a running video of these
so how do you pressurize the fuel system, is there a coolant jacket around the engine? i assume its air cooled?
Yes. When it comes to engines this small, especially for hobby purposes, you’re basically gonna have to make it a carbureted air-cooled two-stroke.
Amazing an engine that small.
fact : "spark plugs ALL automobilia owned aesthetic" ©
These are sweet so cute I have a .020. Rc a working carburetor that opens and closes a clamp-on expansion chamber Muffler. Wii used a tie clip to mount them on and display them. !!!!!
That's impressive. Could he make a turbo that diesel? Lol that would be an undertaking but with current nano technology (I'm talking microscopic machines) it seems anything is possible!
Thid guys is so talented
@rcpilotp51 Thanks for watching and the comment.
Sus motores son Fantásticos ,me gustaría poder comprar algunos , estoy en Argentina , cómo lo puedo pedir?????
i want to meet this crazy man.
you are great .master
mpg?
can anyone tell me link to buy one
How can buy
where can I get one??
nice
is their any app so I can buy an engine
