Karl, my husband and I would love to see the 23 with the twin beds instead of the Queen walk around! So easy to get in and out of, easy storage. Almost bought a 25Airstream with Front twins similar to what your concept floor plan looks like. Please do it soon!!!

It's funny, everyone is different on that subject!! We're glad we don't have the oven but we did purchase an Omnia stovetop oven. Works great and we have more storage under the stove!

Minute 24 - thanks for mentioning us! We are the couple from Fort St. John! Zack and I pulled the trigger and ordered our 21C escape trailer!! Very excited and appreciate all the friendly and helpful information we have gotten from you both, Angie and Ronda. Also thanks to escape trailers for the great show room tour.

Two years ago I started watching you guys because we were thinking about the fifth wheel. We ended up with a Pleasureway Lexor instead, but I still enjoy your videos.

Hey, I noticed you have a Proven Industries hitch lock? Is it worth the cost? Thx

Not interested in the 23. It would make the truck trailer length too long. I think a second set of 5.0TA molds would be a better business decision. Setting up manufacturing in Texas could bankrupt Escape if it doesn’t go well. It would be better to add capacity in Chilliwack. The Americans aren’t considering the discount they get because of the currency exchange when asking for a US facility.

Great interview. Karl is important for ETI now, he's the guy. But I gotta say, he sure interrupted you a lot! And ... one of the problems with my 21 was that the floor under the table was NOT level with the floor in the rest of the trailer, so the table tilted. It was not a matter of how the surface flooring was installed ... the under-floor itself was not level with the floor in the rest of the trailer. I fixed that by adding washers under the table slide mechanism. Also, when the trailer arrived it had THREE different rating tires on it. I had to argue to get the tires corrected, even tho having different rating tires on one axle is illegal in the USA and in Canada. Also, the trailer brakes did not work. As a retired truck mechanic, I had no problem taking them apart ... the parts were all there, inside the drums, but they weren't connected! So I wonder ... how many other trailers have been and maybe are still being delivered with no functioning brakes ... is ETI dismantling those systems and checking them? In this video, Karl said something about not warranting parts from other manufacturers ... but I paid ETI, and ETI needs to stand by what it sells. My bathroom window glass fell off ... Reece promised a replacement ... nothing has arrived. I have the glass duct-taped to the frame and it looks pretty dumb. On the original build, I had the trailer "lifted" at the axles for higher clearance, but ETI did not raise the truck hitch to match even though I bought the hitch from ETI, and they installed the hitch, and they said it would be properly aligned/raised ... I paid to have that done back here in the USA. There were a few other smaller items, but still a number of other items. Would I buy another Escape trailer ... would I buy the one I did buy again if I had to do it all over again ... YES! But I would be way more proactive about getting ETI to fix the problems. ETI was not responsive. In the end, I'm troubled by the lack of quality control by ETI ... they sent out a trailer with mis-matched tires, floors that weren't level, brakes that did not work and obviously had not been checked, my battery box leaked gas inside the trailer (I installed better seals), etc. I hope Karl is paying people to actually check all of this and more ... quality control will make or break the company.
And ... Karl ... Karl! stop interrupting! You didn't seem to care what Angie was saying most of the time, you just talked over her almost all the time in this video. That's incredibly irritating and incredibly rude. Is that your attitude about customers? You simply don't listen. You sure didn't listen to Angie.
And ... the "girls" ????!!! Your women employees are called "girls"??? And yet when you refer to Angie & Rhonda later, you call THEM "guys". WTF??? Karl doesn't seem to have a clue about basic courtesy, and basic courteous communication, following through with promises for parts made by Reece, or with basic human respect.
Kudos to ETI employees!! They are what's making ETI a success.

I didn’t have one issue with our 2020 19. We bought it expecting no support from a factory 4300km away.

OMG Ann that's a lot of issues! That's interesting you felt like he interrupted me. I felt like we were just having a conversation. Karl is by far one of the nicest guys we've ever met along with everyone else at Escape. I've always gotten the feeling from him that he wants to make things right. Please send him a.message!!! We had some issues ourselves when we picked ours up from Reece. I had to be uncomfortably assertive to get it right. I think they're on the right track!

@@AdventuresInNoMadness I can understand the concern, and your desire to share the new corporate image of Escape Trailer Industries. Before I posted my comment here on your vlog, I shared your video with four sets of friends of mine (I have SIX sets of friends who own Escape trailers). Every person who watched the video of those four sets of friends were equally (or more so) appalled at Karl's interruptions and lack of reponses to your questions. And, of the six sets of friends who purchased brand new Escape trailers, four of them (a different four) had significant problems that ETI refused to address, back when the trailers were purchased and still today with the new corporate owner and with Karl as the manager, even with email proof of communication within the first year of ownership, the new corporate owners (and Karl) have refused to fix the original first year problems. Obviously, a good number of Escape trailers won't have problems (or they won't be noticed), but for those of us who have had significant problems, the "old" ETI didn't honor the warranty and the "new' ETI still isn't. My bathroom window fell off in the first year ... Reece said he would pay to replace it, he didn't ... and even with the email proof of that, this new corporation is still refusing to replace the window. I love my Escape trailer! I really do. But the old guard, and the new guard, are pretty much on the same track ... refusing to address owners' warranty issues. Sure, some folks are getting help, but a lot of us aren't. I have contacted Karl ... but the response is the same as when Reece & Tami owned the company.

I had similar experience as Ann did. Not the same exact systems or failures, but similar things. And Reece was NOT responsive and fixed nothing. I've emailed the current owners of ETI and still get the same answer that Reece gave me, that they will not honor the warranty. I paid ETI ... not another vendor that ETI hired. ETI should honor their own sales. One of the worst things I found was that my 19 foot trailer had no brakes too. After 4 years, I took the trailer to an RV maintenance place just for regular maintenance and was told the brake system was just lying in parts inside the brake drum, and had never been hooked up. From brand new, I never had brakes! Neither Reece nor the current owners will pay to have the brakes repaired, which should have been checked before I took possession of the trailer. How many hundreds of other buyers have no brakes!
And I too was appalled by Karl's continual interruption of Angie. He's rude.
And I too was appalled by Karl calling the women who work at ETI "Girls", and yet calling the lesbians "guys".
Unlike Ann, I will never buy another Escape trailer in my life and will post my opnion on a number of social media channels. Karl needs to learn basic human courtesy or he needs to be fired.

Hi Judy, sorry you had such a bad experience with Escape. I hope this is a lesson for others to have an rv inspection done by a 3rd party so that things are found and fixed right away. Karl is actually one of the nicest guys we met so I'm disappointed that didn't come across in the video.
