Great mods. If Johnny put a large Command Hook on the back wall it could temporarily hold the power cords to the pop-up receptacle from drifting onto the stovetop. Jon in rural BC, Canada
Best set of modifications I have ever seen! I respect your mechanical aptitude…so for you to be so impressed, he is obviously brilliant. What does he do for a living…I am guessing electrical engineering? Keep up the great work. Love your videos!
Wow, first time I have seen solar panels mounted to drawer slides, what a neat idea for increasing solar square footage. Johnny has some great ideas, very enjoyable video.
Seen you guys in Glacier. We were in the same loop. We camped Westside one day and then Eastside the next. St. Mary. Didn't want to both you guys. Going-to-the-Sun Rd was Amazing. Maybe we'll see you out there again. Glad you made it out of Mexico.
Awww you should have said hi to us!!! We spend 13 nights on the westside. We plan on camping at St. Mary or Two Medicine next year. We'd stay at Many Glacier if we could get reservations!!
@@AdventuresInNoMadness didn't want to both you. I sure sometimes it's nice just to sit back and relax. But it was cool seeing one of my UA-camrs in the wild.
these are great mods, i am going to use some of these in my travel trailer _ it's not the same trailer but i can mod mine with some of these. thank you johnny for mod ideas and thank adventures in NoMadness for the video
You are amazing. Such knowledge is amazing. Well beyond my abilities. What a gift. Do you do those kinds of set up for other people? For price ofcourse.
OK; your friend Johnny must be a engineer type these are over the top awesome upgrades! Does he work on other peoples rigs? I would of liked seeing more of that fridge. Thanks for sharing.
No. But like he said he can use his extra tank and empty the main. But presumably the grey-water and most of the plumbing that is not directly in the heated compartment are susceptible to freezing (and he did mention using antifreeze in his drains)... His home base is in California and appears to be sticking to warmer regions/seasons, so I think it’s safe to say he hasn’t ‘needed’ to adapt to what you are referring to, and besides it’s a very tall order, that would require heating wraps and blankets, etc. (I’m speaking from my understanding/logic, not from having attempted or researched the subject.)
Hi Rich, you didn't miss it. Johnny actually doesn't have a UA-cam channel. There's some links in the description under the video but it takes you to the Escape page where he written more detailed info.
holy cheese. These are exactly the sorts of changes that I would make. The typical RV windows are so awful. You just cant open them up. a couple US RVs use the acrylic windows. ALL the europeans use those. I dont know why they arent just the standard. I didnt think of a mini-split. I really like that. Wouldnt if be great if there were ones specific for RV installation? And ALL THAT SOLAR! some truck campers use a skylight very similar to that. this kind of stuff is exactly why Ive decided to buy used instead of new. All the extra cost will go into stuff like this. The only thing I cant change is the headroom. all electric trailers are most definitely the future
I would be surprised if he's not exceeding the 5000# tow rating of the Ridgeline when he's fully loaded, especially with 30 gallons fresh water in the trunk.
Great mods.

Hi Judy, thanks for watching! He's definitely amazing! No, he doesn't do it for other people though :(
Where did this legend get those windows????
Why such a heavy air conditioner? More of a dehumidifier? Oh the sounds? And heat and cool
OK; your friend Johnny must be a engineer type these are over the top awesome upgrades! Does he work on other peoples rigs? I would of liked seeing more of that fridge. Thanks for sharing.
Just under $3K from Westmarine, the brand is Isotherm. That's a really nice unit.
Great inspirations!
Nice mods.
Glad you like them! Johnny is pretty awesome!
Ingenious
Oh so all those windows are upgrades and shades? That doesn't come with the unit?
Just hire the man already lol
When he departs fully stocked for a trip, what’s Johnny’s trailer weight?
I want mine done if you could do it, Jimmy
Would really like to know the brand of bug zapper please 😊
So is this insulated enough for a Canadian deep snow type of winter? Just curious about keeping the plumbing underneath warm enough.

What is the name brand of the windows?
Sorry if I missed it, do you have a link to Johnny’s UA-cam channel?

Did a quick search...but came up empty: What brand is the skylight you swapped in the roof for the A/C?
He said he found outside USA, but I know you can find something similar through marine supplies. Go to boating supply sites. Good luck!

Another great vid, but that guy spent a small fortune. Cool ideas, but way too much money.
Johnny who?
