- The Thargoid invasion fleet started arriving in November 3308, as a response to Salvation's firing of the Proteus Wave in August that year. It was in 3309 that humanity learned to confront the alien invaders and turn the war around.

I got Odyssey on sale just to keep this game alive as this game kills in VR as a spaceship sim. Its a shame that Frontier hasn't milked this game's potential, and worked on the huge entry barrier of learning how to play this game, and the time it takes just to even bind a HOTAS, earn credits, build a ship, etc. I've owned this game for years and still don't know how to battle Thargoids and have a good ship to use against them. I wish there were more of an in-game AI CMDR like in the intro of Odyssey, that you could use that will guide you as a casual gamer to what to do, for certain activities, as it takes so much time to learn and play the game, meanwhile, RL gets in the way.

Some of them will be Far God Cult members for sure. That might give the Federation pause for thought!

Unfortunately no, I asked the same last year, someone else holds the rights to it.
The music is by Tom Cook. It's not so much a rights issue, more that he just hasn't released it. I might ask him is he'd like to post it on his SoundCloud. There are already around 50 tracks of his Elite Dangerous themed music at soundcloud.com/tomcook
drake manta: ah the thargiod ship subtypes i knew the thargiod have are starting to show up. also i have seen a thargiod mother ship type two before. also the thargiods have been kown to kidnape and interogate for info and biometreal thsie days. but it sames the thrgiods after gets the virus have might have decided to become one with there bioship tech and drone ai tech like some knid of super advices biomehcnal cyborg piloted ships.
What if you had several ships using the pulse neutralizer simultaneously? And from opposite ends of eachother?
You would need hundreds of ships to see any effect, given there is one, except for all ships being able to enter the titan-filled center of the maelstrom...
