Hey boss, very interested! I am wondering if the sun object field is locked to a Sun? I ask as I have my own pipeline for space HDRI environments and I'd like to sync the shader to the position of the environment primary star with an empty.
I'm assuming as well that multiple stars in the scene are not recommended? :)

really cool addon to play with, but some things are bugging me.
i followed your video to the T to replicate what you did and on every attempt it did not work at the "light" part.
Ealdorun does not cast any city light nor lava emissive on my end, even when i cranck everything to the maximum set up. tried several times, after refreshing the addon and no luck on this part.
another thing and I don't know if it's by design or not but for example Glacialis Novus had a lot of parameters locked (craters, cracks, poles, iced ocean, lava, atmosphere, vlouds, rings and moon) and can't be played or changed.
is it on purpose? beause it's a shame that i can't fine tune a pressets.

For some reason this addon is incredibly laggy when in viewport shading mode.
It depends on your hardware. I also just uploaded a version that is working better in 4.1.1 . Thanks for your comment!

Well, I made it on a 3060RTX Ti and it runs well. Like I mentioned to @sirverbs, I re-uploaded a version for 4.11. which, after testing, runs smoother on my end.
