Overall this video has breakdown the understanding of the make up of ebike(s) and their essential features and choices for food riders or leisure riders. I appreciate how the flow of interaction is natural and info presented by Mr Chew is clear and professional, not too techinal for ppl who are new to ebikes. Thank you both for your effort.
E-bikes in Singapore cuts so many corners like not having many usual parts which a normal bike should have ( Mud Guard, Suspension etc.), just to fit in the legal weight of 20kg. The frame of the bike is not the best quality in the market and yet the pricing is way too expensive to begin with. Options is so limited that it is a joke that the sellers only excuse-it has to fit in the legal limit, the buyer has to accept the bare essentials of a e-bike with expensive pricing. Any knowledgeable buyer would just dig a bit further would know that some overseas e-bikes can not only meet the our legal laws but even surpassed it with pricing way cheaper than what is sold in Singapore without customers getting the short end of the stick.😖
@@teohontech7141 - Look at the websites of American Supermarkets or Taiwan/Japan bikes store, they do have e-bikes being sold there. Not everything have to be spoon-fed if you are interested in something, make an effort to think outside the box.
I am tempted in getting an ebike but i have 2 questions which i am curious about, 1stly as of 2022 how safe is ebike as in with all the LTA restrictions is there still cause of concern for the ebike batteries catching fire? and 2nd, from my understanding ebikes are not supposed to be on pedestrian footpaths but on traffic crossing (cross juction) can i use pedestrian crossing to safely cross to the left?
All ebikes have to be certified for safety so safety should not be much of an issue. But it's best to unplug the ebikes when they are fully charged. Many of the ebike fires were due to charging overnight, and for some reason the some chargers don't stop charging even when battery is full. As for using pedestrian crossing, according to law, you're suppose to push the ebike. But I don't see many riders do that though
@@seanseah333 Not sure about heavy downpours. Anyway, you shouldn't ride in heavy downpours even if the whole bike is 100% waterproof. It's too dangerous. With water in your eyes you can't even see properly because you're not wearing motorcycle helmet. And it's going to be extremely slippery especially when you go over metal grills or covers.
@@seanseah333 Oh. I was told as long as the electronics aren't submerged, they should be fine. So I guess it's pretty waterproof in that sense. Anyway, I'll get Mr Chew from Mobot to answer this.
When you ride a bike, your flat sole of your foot should be on the pedal, not the bridge (middle) of your foot, like you were riding! .... so your toes should be on the pedal.
Hi, you have rights as a citizen. Laws are fair and transparent. If you are not flouting any regulation, no enforcement officer can stop you nor confiscate your property unless they have a valid reason..
No rights as citizen here, laws change anytime like escooter ban i lost so much money. Can make halimah president without fair elections.. Laws here only work for the ultra rich.

Hey, there is a update on that regulations in 2023? If they are then please do it info about it
One battery broken up into 2 chunk, two sizes and shapes. What a great design by the bike designer🤣
thanks very helpful Mobot . Mr Chew very clear and precise. IF I want a longer range , can Mobot do bigger batteries ? Will drop by your shop
Don't buy mobot they suck. The only mobot decent is orca. Rest are all crap
What is the proper tire pressure for this ovo ebike?
Seat cannot change also ask shop

Unfortunately i already gotten myself a jimove LC before checking out here.
Very informative, thanks
where to buy the baseball cap helmet? looks more comfy than a biking helmet
i'm interested as well
Hi is the fat tire one waterproof? (Battery)
Splashproof but not waterproof. Riding on rainy weather is okay, but dangerous due to slippery but that applies to all bicycles
@@teohontech7141 how about heavy downpours? are the battery compartments allow water to seep in over time and cause short circuits? Thanks

"what is a throttle?"
and u can see Mr Chew a little "DUH" but it is a legit question though hahaha
People who don't ride may not know
Not many options in India but I really want one
20 km travel distance only
Up to 70km for the orange bike. Where did you get the 20km from? That's even less than my electric skateboard.
Change handlebar ask shop why they sell
N stock handlebar not stable
So many rules, I wish lta allow throttle e bike but I guess Singapore = no fun allowed
Yeah. Fun is allowed only in small controlled areas or just stay at home.
Without the frequent use of "actually" and "basically ", this video would be much more easy to understand. They distract from the message.
