This was made by ArcSys as well, so it makes sense. It's super cool to see how many moves were lifted straight into Fighterz, though. Kid Buu's 2M, 18's grab, even unexpected one's, like Fat Buu's 2S. I also think it's kinda funny how in Fighterz they gave Base Vegeta Dirty Fireworks, and SS Vegeta Final Galick Cannon, when it's the exact opposite in this game.
@@thesalinator3557 base vegeta actually does have a variation of dirty fireworks, but I tried not to show a lot of overlapping moves between the clone characters. This was a lot of fun to make, so I'm honestly considering a second one, and if I do that I'll try to exclusively show off stuff that didn't make it into this video.
@@b.blobbentein5774 Maybe someday you can do a combo comparison between FighterZ and EB for the characters that are present in both games. lol *RIP Raditz in FighterZ*
aww no King Kai combo clip (he was in this game right or am I thinking of super sonic warriors?). Awesome video though, didn't know this game had this kind of depth, It looks very well made I need to try it someday. With 3ds prices exploding I hope a physical copy of this game is not too crazy
Sadly king kai is only an assist in this, but the idea of him with a full moveset is certainly inspired. This game has a lot of shortcomings, DBFZ is definitely the better game in comparison but it's kinda quaint to look back at Extreme Butoden as sort of a prototype for what ArcSys would do in the future.
If I remember correctly, King Kai is only playable in one game, Dragon Ball Ultimate Butoden for the DS but, the combos in that game from what i played barely exist, maybe they do, I dont know. PD: There is combos in that game, nice!
Ah thank you for correcting me, thought i remembered seeing him as a full fledged character in a dbz fighting game. Very good memory, i am going to look at some footage now
This is super fun! After the GuileWinQuote video came out, I was trying to look up what kind of stuff you can do in this game, but didn't find anything. So this video is much appreciated! I love the Raditz bullet loop. What is stopping it from being a true infinite by the way? I'm not super familiar with this game's mechanics.
Glad you liked the video! Really simply, raditz bullet flick costs 25% meter, so since you get a max of 200 meter you're forced to stop at 8 before you have to end the combo.
Amazing how closely some of the animations and maps resemble what came in FighterZ
They're both made by the same people, ArcSystemWorks.
The only thing Extreme Butoden does better than FighterZ is that Extreme Butoden has Raditz
why tf cant raditz be in fighterZ already man
And it is much appreciated. That Super Vegeta setup was nice!
Fullscreen solar slare must be cracked surely
Really wish SsjKu in dbfz used instant transmission
Holy shit dude this is really cool stuff as i usually just button bash my way through battles like a noob.
@@blazinbutter6677 Glad to hear you liked it, I've made a second one too so make sure you check that out
Weird how much you can see here that was inherited in Fighterz. Buu's weird 2s loop...
I know right? I couldn't show it in the video, but Bardock straight up has his dbfz 5m, it's almost completely unchanged.
@@b.blobbentein5774 I know a lot of moves come from poses and stills from the anime/manga, but the properties being the same weirds me out the most.
