Many parts of Wisconsin are covered in rolling farm fields with cows grazing and stately red barns. However, you might be surprised to learn that America's Dairyland isn't just known for its rich agricultural heritage. The United States' Third Coast is also home to a plethora of wonderful sites, both urban and rural. Many of the best sites to visit in Wisconsin revolve around the water, which is bordered by Lake Michigan and Lake Superior and filled with over 15,000 freshwater lakes. The enjoyment, however, does not end with Wisconsin's thousands of miles of coastline! Wisconsin's main cities also showcase the state's rich and distinct Midwestern culture as it collides with modern art and cuisine. Check out these top 15 best places to visit in Wisconsin and you'll fall in love with the Badger State.

❤ Wisconsin beautiful😊😊
Wisconsin is a beautiful state with lush farmland.
Don’t forget to stop at the Culver’s to get the cheese curds burgers and frozen custard or Fleet Farm for some chocolate covered almonds
What’s with this comment section? 😂 Milwaukee and Madison are my favorite places to hang out in Wisconsin, because I like cities. I think a lot of small towns and rural areas can be boring, but some people like that, so why would I rant about those things being on the list? There’s a lot more to the state than just what you personally like.
Lindos lugares!!! Os USA têm paisagens e culturas apaixonantes.😍😍😍😍😍😍
oh my How beautiful land
Leons is in Milwaukee, not Door County.
I was about to post this same information. I have spent many evenings at Leon’s custard and it’s a great place to visit. I’m sure the editor of the video must have heard about Wilson’s ice cream and mistook the video footage.
27th and Oklahoma in Milwaukee, across from Pulaski HS
Also in OSHKOSH. And it's the better.
Great video. Could use a little something about the beautiful lakefront but otherwise, great!
Great
Wisconsin is a beautiful state.
Yes
Thank you for your hard work. I remember I almost fell for an MLM in high school. I went all suited up to someones apartment. the parents were the tour guide and they were in PJs
No mention of House On The Rock or the Circus Museum in Baraboo, 2 of my favorite places in WI.
One of the clips of Leon's ice cream was not in Door County but was in Milwaukee. One of the clips of a suspension bridge in Milwaukee wasn't even in Wisconsin. Good presentation, though.
Leon's is classic MKE! This video got A LOT wrong about the state unfortunately
Very nice photography. Please note: the suspension bridge clip inserted at the 17:41 mark is the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia, PA and not in Milwaukee, WI.
Beautiful video...!
Watch out for tick bites June and July though! And swimmer's ear, particularly in Devil's Lake.
I live in door county and during the summer we head to harbor village
Great Video!!!! F+L, Corey
Devils Lake State Park
Exploring sightseeing,
Offers variety of outdoor activities
fishing hiking
😮 very nice 👍
❤winscousiny😊
Just to let you know people who live in Wisconsin are called Wisconsinites, I know it’s weird but I found out that we are called that when I didn’t know what to call us Wisconsinites when I was younger
How do you mention Spring Green without including the American Players Theatre 🤔
Who put this list together? It's "Minocqua" not "Manaqua."
Road America and Elkhart Lake bring in over 100 thousand visitors per race weekends. how can this not be on your list.
And it turns the city into a nightmare.
17:40 that's not Milwaukee? Or even Wisconsin.
A-I editing
Hmmm Didn't realise Leon's Frozen Custard (The inspiration for Arnold's in Happy Day's) was located in Door County? (14:13)
🤣
@@chadheiden9235 There is a Leon's in Milwaukee and one in Oshkosh. Not affiliated. Never heard of one in Door Cty.
@@bl4558 I only know of the one in Milwaukee, which I believe is the one they show for the door county custard......... That is why I was laughing.
@@chadheiden9235 You are correct. I'm still trying to figure out where that bridge and skyline is in Milwaukee at 17:41. Lived in the region most of my life and I still have not seen it.
The fact that every packer game u go to u buy a tiny tiny piece of the packer team and jump around is the 💯 percent hype
You missed the fantastic dinosaur museum at Kenosha
How is caledonia to live for families?
17:41 Please tell where in WI this is? Certainly not Milwaukee.
Mount Olympus was the worst water park I have ever been to. It was run down, trash overflowing everywhere, filthy bathrooms, and grossly over crowded. I would not recommend. However, I would highly recommend the Wilderness Resorts. I really enjoyed the resort. Everything was clean and in a beautiful setting.
Lake Geneva-the Chicago of the north
Road America is the best place.
It is Legendary
your pal in scannia are insanely rich in minerals and oil
No Rounders?
Where on Earth are those first two shots of Bayfield? I don't think they're anywhere near Bayfiled, I don't recognize them at all.
Simmilarly, the first shot of Spring Green doesn't look like it's from Spring Green.
They're definitely not of Bayfield. Looks like stock footage of "small town waterfront harbor" but for sure not Bayfield or anywhere near it
why are there no new videos? was your channel demonetized despite being fair use?

I m coming wisconsin.love from india
Michigan amd California please
Showed all the good points, none of the bad. Take milwaukee for example. Tour state street and tell us how nice it is with bars on every window.
4 miles of fun (fast)

Not sure why Milwaukee and Madison are the last 2 maybe go outside of the obvious
Guys, this video listed Madison and Milwaukee. Take it with a grain of salt. Or maybe a few...
I've lived in Wisconsin for over 40 years, and none of these places resonate with me.
Where did you live? Tomah?
That's interesting. Why is Wisconsin so in love with Biden???
Maybe it was a different Wisconsin 🤭 I've lived a little more than 2 years in the state and have been to, or at least heard of all of them.
@@jannesrost4888 Because everyone has their own believes and opinions and have the freedom to vote for who they want, that's what makes the US great.
Not sure I would have Eau Claire or Lacrosse rated higher than Hudson. Right on the beautiful St. Croix River and minutes from the twin cities.
Hey the only reason wisconsin has 15 thousand lakes is because what Minnesotans would consider most of their lakes ponds. Wisconsin uses a different scaling for ponds and lakes and if they used the Minnesotan scale we would win by a longshot
Downtown of Chicago.
Chicago is in Illinois, not Wisconsin.
And the residents of Wisconsin are grad of it.
Racine
Being born and raised in Wisconsin I agree Wisconsin is absolutely beautiful! Though I would not suggest Milwaukee for sure. I was born there and it is now riddled in crime. Madison I would not suggest either unless you know where you are going. You could end up in a bad spot. Central Wisconsin is awesome for families.
Agree on Milwaukee, disagree on Madison.
Milwaukee is the good land.
Butchered the word Baraboo
I honestly wouldn’t look at your channel for other places to go because you left out so much in the video on Wisconsin. In Lake Geneva, you didn’t tell them about the beautiful safari that you can drive through in Green Bay. You didn’t say anything about the botanical Gardens, all the city parks, the fishing and boating out on Green Bay so many unique restaurants and the Broadway district with the farmers market and entertainment. I was also very disappointment on your explanation of Wisconsin Dells and door county I don’t normally comment but I think this was very boring and maybe do a little more research before you release it to the Public you’re not helping out the state at all.
Wisconsin Dells is a mess
The Milwaukee Museum and app are great, but it's so dangerous I would stick to the middle of the day for an event and visits to those two places, don't stay there or hang out after dark and stay out of certain neighborhoods period. Particularly stay off Capital Drive.
LOL. No it's not. There are dangerous areas of the city. But downtown isn't. Just use common sense like you would in any other urban environment.
Sadly half of WIsonsin's farms have disappeared due to state and federal government taxing and policies. At least this has happened since I was a young child. May WI never go the way of California though. What was a gorgeous state got turned into trash in a lot of places.
Yea the government needs to get on the side of family farms.
сырные головы рулят
Stop using the word plethora so much.
Is Wisconsin a conservative place? Safe for families? What's the best place to raise a family in? With good Christian private schools and low crime? I currently live in Summerlin Lv Nv and homes are expensive here! I'm searching for something affordable but nice 😃 if that's even possible?
If you stay away from Madison and Milwaukee, you’ll be fine😉
If you want to live rural and conservative areas, then move to any rural area in Wisconsin. If you want to live in a conservative area and be close to a major city, move to Waukesha County.
Then just move to Utah! Wisconsin is a wonderfully diverse State and we don't believe in living in a Theocracy! Utah sounds a bit more like your comfort zone.
@@jeffpawlinski3210 Hell no! 😂 I'm not a Mormon 😭
@@jeffpawlinski3210 that was rude by the way 😔
As a Wisconsinite, I can honestly say that Madison and Milwaukee should be nowhere near this list!
Why? Milwaukee alone gets 20+ million tourists a year.
Agreed!!
Iagree with you
As someone who lived in Milw for 10 years and in Mad for 4 years, I agree with the video: Those are legitimately great sites to visit, and only tips of the icebergs. With their year-round attractions, interesting areas to explore, arts, recreation, historical architecture, and more, those cities definitely belong at the top of this particular list. I had a blast exploring each city, in depth, and I still go back to each for sporting events, concerts, and more.
If Milwaukee and Madison "should be nowhere near this list," despite their huge varieties of attractions, why should Wisconsin Dells be on it, with its two attractions (natural beauty and tourist traps)? Dells destinations are mostly situated on a few major boulevards - really not in town at all but edge-of-town stuff - very hostile to pedestrians and bikes, and they have one main downtown/tourist street that turns to a ghost town in the winter. 90% of all Dells visitors go in the summer. And in the summertime, nobody goes into the actual towns of WI Dells or Lake Delton, where the residents live, except by accident or curiosity, because the towns are small and very ordinary. Conversely, people actually target Milwaukee and Madison as destinations, year round, because of the interesting and varied things to see and do.
So, I am unable to fathom the underlying logic of your comment. Perhaps you didn't gather the subject of the video and you're speaking about something outside the subject of this video that you dislike. Maybe you don't like the fact they have big buildings. I don't know and you didn't explain. But as related to this video, your comment is ludacris - ignorant and empirically false.
If Milwaukee and Madison showed up in a list of "Best places to live in Wisconsin in 2023," and your comment was posted there, it might be justified. But here, you're wrong.
@@chrismodski6284 Everything he listed in the video about Madison and Milwaukee is of absolutely NO interest to me, and many other people agree!
Liking your own comment doesn’t make your comment right!
What is wrong with you people? Why would any of the people vote for Biden? I'm just curious because He is so BAD at being president. What has he done for you this past 3 years? I'm a southerner so maybe I just won't ever understand.
ummm...we have cheese here
Wisconsin also has some of the highest property taxes and coldest temperatures in the nation. A lot of the people who move here, soon move out.
Great, get out now.
Thank God. At least we don't tax groceries like Tennessee. They make up for that in other ways, surprised?
I moved 33 years ago and would LOVE to move back to small town living.
"And reflect that whatever misfortune may be your lot
It could only be worse in Milwaukee."
The four best places to visit in Wisconsin are the Illinois border, the Iowa border, the Minnesota border, and the Michigan border. If you ever find yourself in Wisconsin make a beeline for any of them.
Madison and Milwaukee should not be on this list and whoever made it didn't bother to find out correct pronunciations
Agree!!
Born and raised in Wisconsin. Country life is awesome. City life is absolute shit.
I was raised in the middle ground, literally between Mad and Mil. I agree with you.
Yes
I was surprised milwaukee is a fun and beautiful city
What did you like most in Wisconsin? The government forcing women and little girls to have rape and incest babies or the government throwing responsible adults including dying cancer patients and other very ill people in prison as felons for eating a cannabis brownie on their death beds?
What hell man why r u out for me a Wisconsinite I mean like WTF man why would you pinpoint that and does that even happen? Like, what did Wisconsin ever do to you?
Edit: not the comment the first reply...
@@miahsaint-georges also you realize a ton of other states is worse than Wisconsin about that stuff, and the person was talking about how fun it was to see the beautiful city, and how they were glad they went there, they never stated about the government forcing women and littles girls raped, they only said that they were surprised on how fun and beautiful Milwaukee is.
@@miahsaint-georgesdude the comment is not political at all chill
