Because there is not enough of this resource. Why are millions of people living in a place where there is very little water? We need to consider the nature of the places where people live and prevent too much of new people coming into those places.
There were always people in those places. Do you expect them to move? A major problem stated several times is that the rains stopped coming...that has nothing to do with their location and everything to do with climate change.
I want them to have less children. Without so many people climate change would have taken a lot more time and maybe we could come up with a solution if we had more time. And there was always not much water, in some deserts there are underground water reserves, but those reserves took hundreds of years to form and we take it away in 20 years. Its like flowers in the desert, every hundred years there is one big rain and a sea of flowers appear, they use all the water to bloom, but then they die. That's what will happen with all the big cities we build in deserts. It is a natural process, so if we only want to follow our natural instincts to breed then maybe we shouldn't cry about the natural outcome.

Why do humans have to "steal" a resource that no one should own in the first place...
Konglomerant Big fact
Exactly

You call it ubsurd now, soon the whole world will be like that if climate change continues, your ignorance is pretty far up your ass. First world countries don't have much corruption to deal with. Some one tries to step up to get rid of corruption, they get murdered. One person finds a way to get illegal water, more people down the line suffer, people make money off others suffering, people try to stop it, they try to give fair amounts of water. What else are you supposed to do. Problem is corruption in the system, not how the government is trying to manage it.
@@liberatorg410 well, you cant reverse climate change, were recovering from the last ice age, its just humans are speeding it up by burning oils and coals and releasing carbon back into the air thus warming the planet. its sad, very sad, to see the world change, but its nature.
@@seasalt1164 The government didn't seemed concerned about that. They just said they were drug dealers, they bad, bad men no sell water, water illegal.

I appreciate The Lady who's reporting about the problem in a country like Pakistan
I am from Pakistan, and unfortunately this is all too common. Corruption is rooted deep within the government.
Damn bro. And your currency is going down. You gotta do something soon. I know there are few good Pakistanis with brain.
@Sumit Jana
And ask Pakistan government to recognize also accept pak army people dies in Indian teratory .
Mind blowing to call people desperate for water- criminals.
And we still can't turn off the tap when we're brushing our teeth
I do!
I'm ashamed of myself
You know who cares ? In civilized countries you can waste as Mich water as you want in the drain. It will be filtered and reused. Its no water waste as Long as you let it Go Down the drain
Water is recycled . You can't run out of water on Earth. It goes into the atmosphere and gets released again. This is silly. These people live in a desert ffs.
@@kristingallo2158 THEY AVG,10 IN. PER YR. WHY DON'T THEY COLLECT AND BOIL THE WATER? JUST ASKING.

Anything corrupted is bad, it does not matter which region, country or how the corruption works there, they are all equally bad because it robs people of human rights.
@@peculiarity3111 well I don't think u will find any country that isn't corrupted then
@content nuker mostly the problem of water in Pakistan is because of climate change and we don't control it so stop with your bullshit
This is really heart wrenching... To not be able to have access to something as basic and important as water is scary. I hope the situation gets better for these people in Pakistan
Did you know that over two thirds of the Pakistani population is inbred, resulting in declining levels of intelligence?
I feel so sorry...I will never complain in life again....I wish situation changes soon in Karachi
This can happen in India.

Remember, in the UN, America and Israel were the only countries who voted NO on the question that water should be a human right.
Let that sink in, America and Israel said that water isn't a human Right.
I won't argue that those two nations don't have a shocking history of human rights abuse do you really think just signing some bit of paper that water is a human right will actually change anything?
Hasn't it been agreed for a long time that: the right to a fair trial, freedom from torture and other cruel and inhuman treatment, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the rights to health, education, and an adequate standard of living were all human rights, yet in so many countries some or all of these things are not protected?
