Lets face it working at Mcdonalds sucks! I'll admit it was the worst experience I've ever face. Working at McDonalds is no life for anyone to live let alone getting stuck there. My advice to anyone is to get out as soon as possible. McDonalds is a crutch for people starting out not an income to stick with for your whole entire life! Live life above minimum wage! If you'd like to learn how I make my living from home check my blog link and learn! Learn how this college student left the minimum wage job and built not only an income but a business online!

Working At McDonalds Is No Life
in a nutshell the amount of work you have to do, at the fast pace you have to do it, and the uncomfortable nature of the work (the non slip shoes they make you wear) plus the annoying coworkers and customers is not worth the minimum wage pay and your mental health.
I mean it’s not a hard job... it’s a job that are meant for 16 year olds.,..try working in a factory from the 7 days a week 9 hours a day while going to highschool!
@@nicholashutchinson1232 🍪🍪🍪
What’s wrong with non slip shoes you have to wear them for every kitchen. You probably bought bad ones
@@KreysHealth they give it to you and it's really shit
@@nicholashutchinson1232 it’s a easy job the problem is they are always short staffed and customers be impatient af. Only people who haven’t worked at fast food think it’s super easy bc they haven’t done it themselves long enough. And no 16 yr olds only work part time and do 5-6 hour shifts whereas the rest of the workers gotta do 8-10 hour shifts without a break so yes it’s easy but it’s mentally tiring due to the speed and repetition
They'll leave you on your own in the kitchen and shout every 2 seconds for different things 😐 can't wait to leave
Sophie Still work there? Today's my second day and I realized how shitty that was. They don't TRAIN you. They sit there and yell for shit.
See at the mcdonalds i work at we usually have 5 to 6 people in the kitchen, 2 on frontline, 2 back booth, 1 front window, and the 2 order takers. Most of the time there is at least 2 managers there at all times im there anyways. I guess it depends on the one you work at
Fr bro I get left in the back runnin the grill and assembly 😂
Yeah ik like the manager told me to do something i was doing it and she came outside screaming at me smh! I would have said but i kept my cool because it was my first job idk what to expect
@@Ivalicex especially people that barely speak English
Leaving was the best decision I ever made. I stayed for 9 months and quit two times before because it was just the most toxic environment I had ever been in. My manager begged me back twice and I came back those two times because I needed the money at the time because my senior year came early because I chose to graduate early and realized maybe I could help out my parents by paying some of the expenses...I was 16 and started as soon as I turnt 16. I thought the money would make up for how bad it was, but it eventually got tiresome. Bad attitudes, bad shift managers who didn’t do their jobs, and we were always short on staff because so many people would quit every week! It was so much stress. I was also managing to make straight A’s in school, but after I quit, my parents told me don’t worry about it, just focus on school. So I did. I miss some of my coworkers, some even became close friends because they were around my age. But I don’t think I’d ever go back to fast food. It definitely taught me a couple things such as people skills I lacked due to my shyness. It isn’t for everyone, but the time there sure taught me a lot dealing with the public to be quite honest.
Yeah this job taught me some times too. I'm gonna quit soon in April
People who say McDonald’s is hard work clearly have never worked hard😂 try working at a factory 7 days a week 9 hours a day while going to highschool!

Strange, I didn't realize this was a dick measuring contest. Why don't you keep quiet?

You must be in a area where’s it’s very busy
i'd rather work at target
I rather be a st*****er
Not just McDonald's I experienced the same shit at every fast food place I've worked from Mcdonalds to Dunkin Donuts to Burger King always dealing with a yelling manager.
True that.
Idk but the mcdonalds i use to work at dealt with alot of micromanagement
@@lildurk3004 Yea the Dunkin’ Donuts I used to work at micromanaged as well. I’m now at Home Depot it’s not as bad there.
@@ryancentnarowicz yeah so pretty much after fast food, i actually took a security job with Securitas and I now work for GardaWorld, going on 2.5 years with experience. Easiest job ever and better management. It depends on the company you work for.
@@lildurk3004 Yea that is true retail feels like a step above fast food but still not great not by much. I lucked out with a Monday through Friday job with Home Depot don’t know how I managed that everyone else’s hours are everywhere.
Worked there for nearly 7 years. They absolute worst job I’ve ever had. Managers rude. Staff always gossiping and complaining playing the blame game with one another. As soon as you clock in everyone’s energy is NEGATIVE. Even when they try to act sweet. It’s FAKE. Glad I took the courage to leave. Not every store is the same though but it’s not for me
My first day was today and I lasted 3 hours lol fuck McDonald's. 😝😝😝
Michelle Carbone I'll rather work at a factory. Been working there for a few weeks and the environment is way much better than fast food jobs. The thing about factories is that you have to be fast and can't really take a lot of breaks. you get tired, yes, but I'm much more comfortable there.
Can relate to you bro it truly sucks your doing the same shit over and over again. It’s good first job but as a career no way
Trust me bro. Its a stepping stone. Now i work for security now. Easiest job in the world.
Bruh. I work there now and I'm bout to quit that shit.
I quit today
@@KurlzzPlays finna quit this month
It was seriously the easiest shit job ever but the people were rude as fuck it was my first day today and like the people I worked with wouldn't talk to me and I had to figure out how to do everything by watching. 😂😂😂#i walked out
I always hated those customers and managers that were all "if you can't handle it you shouldn't work here" right after being assholes to me and stressing me out the only reason I worked there was because I needed a job that gave me more than 25 hours a week and that was the only place that would offer me one on such a short notice at the time I worked there for 6 years and was even a manager but eventually found a better job
I don't mind working there I am a custodian but it pays me 13.50 an hour.
I will rather work at a supermarket stocking up things
That's wat I wanna do
@@snakeeyes7907 its much cozy and no need to handle customer shit alot
@@dexterkun4307 I need to get a stocking job then
@@dexterkun4307 thats overnight though. It just depends.
i worked there when I was 16 until I turned 21 and I think I did every position eventually except for management. This was back in the late 80's & early 90's. I made 3.35 per hour when I started at 16 and when I quit at 21 I was making $5.05 and they said I could NOT get any more raises because then I would be making what the trainers make and they couldnt pay a crew member the same as a trainer. So I quit and became a bartender!.
mike smith I’m 16 now and I just started a few days ago and I make $9 an hour.
sammy kalamkar I make 10.50
Clorox Bleach fools, easy money? Be a freaking waiter!!!
i make 14.97 an hour
I used to work there before and I feel you bro. I made a video called "Types of People You Work With | McDonalds". Maybe you had some of those types of co workers. The video is a comedy fyi.
Rob TV nice vid
Great video, it’s what you make of it tho. But it does suck when the managers are rude
And thing is Macdonalds is always so packed like why is it other fast food places aren’t always packed like Burger King etc it’s always McDonald’s with rude horrible customers
And it's always everyone trying to order at the same time
McDonald’s is the worst place to work for an introvert.
Can confirm it's a terrible experience I wanted 20 hours but when I told him that he looked disappointed and even said "if you want this job you will have to work more then that" so the only way to get the job was to say I want 25 hours which I don't want and he stretched to 29 hours so fuck him
I only been there 2 shifts and i’m about to quit. Shit is toxic af and the amount of work and stress and oil and greas and smell it’s just not worth it.
I have worked plenty of jobs and let me tell you McDonald’s is too stressful and too much work. Not worth it at all. Employees rude af always talking shit in their group chat. I had to check this guy there yesterday but he manned up and apologized.
@@nicholasnoriega1205 I've been working 3 months just saying it doesn't get easier so just quit only work there if you're homeless or some shit, it actually gets worse since they expect more and more the longer you are there for it sucks ima hand in my 1 week notice on Friday so by the time I'm out it's the 1st of next year
This was therapy for me. Worked there 4 two years tomorrow is my last day
It's been so long since you made this but this is so relatable. I've been working at McDonald's for a couple months now, and I swear sometimes I'm like, okay yall are getting so mad bc your food isn't coming out instantly, and it's like, okay yall just want ur food raw?
😂
I left my fast food job 4 years ago, I was just about to go back and signed the contract with my first shift being tonight. But luckily I have seen sense and decided to wait for the right job and sent them a message politely declining the job.
I'm 28 and a mother and also a student and the only pro I can think of is the flexible hours, but thanks for this talk, I'm going to get my teachers training done and never step foot in a fast food place again.
2nd day there they had me working the register and drinks with 0 training.
The part that sucks the most is that every customer thinks they are all high and mighty because we're young
Bro u spoke nothing but straight facts respect
It's worse than working at a warehouse plus it's minimum wage it's very hot there rude as* people there the manager thru a mcchicken tray at me and that was one of the first jobs i got fired from i can name so many reasons why it was hell
Warehouse work really ain't that bad. The one I'm at pays 63k a year starting out and its comfortable environment heating and air and you do your job and leave, bosses and coworkers are nice but theres always 1 ass in every crowd. Just gotta see the good and compare it to other shit jobs out here
I worked there a week and a half. I quit because they had me doing things that legally a 14 year old (such as myself) cant do
Working at McDonalds has made me yearn for a higher education. Fuck this stupid job.
It IS shit, I worked at multiple stores many years ago and it was all the same. If you got shitty coworkers and managers its even worse lol
I work at MD's, and it is sweaty and gross. I hate having to deal with all the clusterfuckery I am incapable of, and getting bitched at for not being able to do what is practically impossible. There's this stupid, arrogant kid who thinks he's badass, because he's training to be a manager. All he does is bitch at his employees, and create drama. He criticises people left and right, and he makes mountians out of molehills.
McDonalds is the worst fast food job to ever work and not only that the employees and customers treat like shit never again.
I work there it’s was my second shift I was so stressed had so many rude customers like I didn’t know the bloody menu and they expect me to know what drink is what smh lucky ik the burgers. I’m gonna leave soon I can’t stay much longer. I’m only 18 I’m a student just need a bit of money McDonald’s is a horrible place to work who wants to deal with rude customers
I feel your pain
One thing I noticed, especially the people that work there and are “happy” , you know those work crazy teens that are happy they are working like a servant. I have came to the conclusion they haven’t worked other jobs so they think that amount of work and stress is normal. For instance when I worked Walgreens , besides rhe customers I loved it. Same pay same hours and your not running around like crazy person braking your back.
I didn't give up on myself I was bullied into depression, it killed my self-esteem. I'm starting but I know its not going to be easy. But how can you get a high paying job with no prior work history?
My manager hates me because I'm shy and have a nervous laugh. the work sucks but the real issue is management, they get one sliver of power and act like hot shit to everyone else.

How long you been there?,I jus started last week shii sucks

I have meet a ppl working at mcdonalds for 20+ year in same place...Person from 3rd world country earn decent amount if they change dollar to their country.. They were happy and earning shit load of money with free food...Seriously...working 40+ hours...
Was your experience working at Dairy Queen better?
I got a summer job at McDonald’s since I came back home from college for a couple months and I mean, I’ve survived, but I’m thinking that next summer I should probably apply somewhere else like DQ or BK
Grace Sáenz Try retail maybe somewhere like Home Depot or Costco.
I dont support McDonald's after working there because it supports how there employees are being treated and I hate to see a poor run company succeed burger king is better to work at hands down

It SUCKS SO BAD IM QUITTING!!! I been working there for a month and i also needed a start and I'm always at work and never miss a day work hard all that i call in sick today because i have a stomach bug and i get told I'm being written up and then the manager was like BYE just filled with immature ass adults. With no life. I will be quitting when i pick up my check on friday. I get treated respectful by customers and most of my coworkers and even 1 manager but the rest of the managers are stuck up mfs 💯 Im done 🤷🏽
I hear ya on that
I dealt with poor management. Its not worth working there for the rest of your life especially.
This is my last week at mc, I work at the drive through and it is like he says, angry people, work as fast as you can, for low payment and no future.
The Mcdonalds i work at are so gross they will litteraly pick up nuggs off the dirty tables and put it in for you to eat. We wear gloves that not only touches the bins and the cloth for cleaning around but we also touch ur nuggets whenever we drop them on the table🤮
Been working on and off at mcdonalds for 8 years and then got a job at a gas station and loved it... Got fired and had to go back to mcdonalds.. RIP
I can’t tell you how much I agree with you
You barely got any hours? I have the opposite problem, my first official job and I’m working 45 hours a week for 7.25 an hour
Midget Llama rip
That’s $326.25 a week $1,305 a month and $15,660 a year before tax, for your first job that ain’t bad

I just started 3 weeks ago . I've worked 11.5 hours. Can you tell me why this is?

Yeah i mean it wasn't a bad experience for me since i worked in cullinary before, but the pay isn't that good. My coworkers were cool. Sometimes people had bad attitudes, there only like 3 people tho. They were talking to me any kind of way about not knowing how to make shakes, or if we didn't have a certain sandwich, they would yell at me. I used to think in my head "don't be mad at me cause you work at Mcdonalds" but i worked there too lol. obviously, but one day when I was on drive thru taking orders, and the beeper would go off this one boy would say take your order. Like i am, shut up, your mad? I'm not gonna take my order in .5 seconds lol , then they would say I'm holding up the drive thru, like how? im just taking orders. they used to just bug cause i was quiet.
You got that right, lad. That McDonalds job is a torturous nightmare than Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly from Fox News harassed by Roger Ailes. This is why my 1992 Ajax Ontario Mcdonalds employer is as horrible as Roger Ailes to me all the time. I am that Megyn Kelly victim.
before i got a job at a similar style fast food chain in the uk i did a two week work experience at a care home working with dementia residents dunno why i'd rather deal with fast food than 12 hour shifts in a care home with residents who don't know who you are and people who work their butt off to take care of them guess im glad i did the experience in a complete seperate field than fast food but im glad to have the experience with both it's a tough job takes a mind of steel to go through what they see every day
