Saw him so many times over the years, he was an incredible guitarist. Rock, Blues, Jazz Rock, Pop rock... Master of them all. The Inquisition live by his band Colosseum II is mind blowing.
RIP Gary Moore. He is one of the few artists that has passed that i shed a tear for when I heard. He was incredible. My fav albums - Victims of the Future, Run For Cover, Wild Frontier, After the War, Still got the Blues and After Hours.
The absolute best electric guitarist ever !!! Never got the recognition he deserved when he was alive, but good to see folks are catching onto his greatness through all these reaction channels - not only his guitar prowess but by God the man had some vocals as well...
One of my favourite songs with Gary's playing is Roisin Dubh (Black Rose), the title track of the Thin Lizzy album "Black Rose: A Rock Legend". Celtic rock at its finest.
At the 9:07 mark on this reaction video, Gary sings "I remember a friend of mine, so sad now that he's gone" (Phil), as a black rose floats down... Whenever I see this clip, it always bring a tear to the eye.
The Messiah Will Come Again Live at Montreux is not only one of Gary's best but is probably one of the greatest guitar performances ever. He does some extraordinary things with his guitar in Montreux on that night.
Totally correct the Catholic population hated the British army. Gary was an east Belfast man,not many British army killed by Gary's Protestant population...

Back in 1990, I worked on a field crew with a bunch of old Celts and they got into this song in a big way. They were big on SRV as well.

Truly a pioneer and his music will always live on to inspire so many more.

For the best Rock Guitar Player Gary Moore ❤
You wanna hear some beautiful guitar work by Gary Moore you need To listen to the loner
Brilliant. Gary Moore is to guitars what Tarja is to vocals. I can't think of any higher praise.
You should see the loner live from sweden 1987 now there he shows what the guitar was made for.
Anybody noticed how much Moore´s singing sounds like Phil Lynott´s?
Gawks, he was amazing! He really should have gone with an actual drummer instead of a machine on this album.
Yeah, it's not like he didn't know any good ones, lol.
@@genegiusti6239 I (in my opinion) think the best drummer he ever played with was Ian Paice. Just phenomenal!
The soldiers with no respect are the only thing stopping Gary's countrymen ripping each other to shreds.
