Just discovered this beautiful video by accident. I was looking for ideas to press my flowers given to me by my little boy on our walk in the woods during lockdown. These are amazing. Great video.xx
Beautiful, thanks, how inspirational. Lol...so glad you posted, "no butterflies were harmed from this". When I saw the wing, I stopped short of breath....lol
I have been pressing flowers and leaves since I was a child, and now I know what to use them for! I love your idea of making bookmarks and tags with the pressed flowers. Thank you so much! Be calm, be kind, and be safe! ~Janet in Canada
These are SO BEAUTIFUL!! I fell in love with them and I especially like the way you explain things so clearly. As a matter of fact, when I saw the ones you'd done with Tim Holtz paper, it gave me the idea of doing pages (rather than tags) from Edith Holden's book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady. Not that they have a thing to do with each other, but you just never know where inspiration will strike! And when I told my husband that your husband made you a flower press, he agreed to make me one too! And I love it! It's very large, so I can do a great many flowers in one sitting! Many, many thanks for sharing your lovely art! You've been a great inspiration to me!
Thank you Janet. I'm so glad that you found the video inspiring. I like your idea of using Edith Holden pages with the pressed flower windows. I'm sure they will look lovely. I love my flower press also, and that was kind of your husband to make you one too. I hope you enjoy creating with it! 🌷
Loved it🌻 I want to shift there as it gives so much calm & peace 🌿 & it’s a really good therapy what nature actually nature giving you🌱🍃🌾 I really breath these art nature craft everything🌻🌱
I love what you did here with the pressed flowers! So very unique and lovely! I have 11 grandchildren and our first I was blessed to have lots of time with her when she was little! One of our favorite things to do was collect flowers and put them in a press! I have loads of the little beauties and thanks to your creativity I have something beautiful to do with them! Thanks so much and yes, definitely do more tutorials! God Bless you!🤗🙏🏻💖
Thanks for the reply! I am Mrs. Rivera, Kathy ,using my husband's tablet! Forget to say!😮 I really love these! We live in Fla! Rainy season and hurricane season! Think I'll be pressing flowers with the 4 grandchildren still here! God Bless! 🤗
Your sweet and gentle nature is a special part of your video. You make the process very clear. I have been making pressed flower tags using laminated sheets, but acetate seems like a good alternative. So glad I discovered your channel. It is very calming and inspiring.💕
Marcy, I'm grateful for your video. You do something no other person does when doing a video. You get right to the point. And you talk to us as you do the project. Love it. You drop in tidbits about your family. Love it. Others do a long intro regarding themselves and family and we the audience have to sit through that. I feel it's time wasted. So I thank you for not wasting my time. Your work is awesome and I really enjoy it. I have subscribed. #imafan
Love this! Your very organic on what you use to cut out your tags, meaning you do it yourself instead all these fancy machines which is nice too. Thanks for the video!
I wrote down the ideas you inspire for cards. I must compliment you on your choice of patterns paired with the flowers. Thank you so much for the video.
💗Yes, pressed flowers are really delicate and fragile, so they can be a challenge to work with but I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I hope that you try making some of these tags and bookmarks. They are a really pretty addition to a journal. 🌷
Love your video! I’ve been pressing flowers since I was a child. I’m 65 years old now. Never too old to learn something new. You mentioned paper towels for pressing. I use Viva since it has no patterns! There is a Pressed flower guild I belong to wwpfg.com. Lots of info! Thanks again!
I loved this video. Thank you for reminding me I have some pressed flowers and now have a idea for them. You are truly a great tutorial maker. Happy Spring. Kathy
Thank you for sharing your techniques of making these. They are simple, but thoughtful, and ultimately so beautiful. Please continue to create and share. I find such peace in doing these as a leisure and a reflective time for relaxation.
What sewing machine is this ? And please post more videos!!! I just stumbled upon your channel yesterday and watched every single video! I couldn’t stop watching ! And then I see the last post was a year ago and my heart broke! The way you craft things is exactly how I like to craft and it’s very original !

You are in Michigan, wish you here in California, have you over for a class on how to make these. Hope all is well!! And your voice is so lovely for this video, most videos I watch are full of loud broadcasting tone, but I love your down to Earth tone. Hugs!
