I'm pretty sure you convinced me that I will be ditching my trailer this year and working out of my truck. The nice thing is I have a truck bed cap, so I won't need to slim down too much! All of your videos are great!
Heck ya man do it. Trailers are cool for carrying everything at all times but imo they cause more problems than they solve.
@StaySlick yeah, I've definitely fit it in some sketchy spots over the past 2 years. My biggest problem is we do a lot of RVs, so we carry a 100-gallon tank and i only had a cover on my truck. The end of last year I bought a 2500 and a bed cap so I have all the room and weight capacity to safely carry that tank, generator, reels and the rest of the business with no worries and I got to cut back on products and found I don't need everything I was carrying.
Thank you Gary, We appreciate you stopping by and letting us set you up for your setup!👍
Right on brother
We'll turn that setup out! We got you Gary.
Let’s do this.
Love the new truck setup buddy! Thanks for sharing
Absolutely and thank you. Stay slick my friend.
Been rocking this set up for a while now , no issues. Very minimal feel detailing out of a truck bed. You showed me from watching this video about why I burnt up so many pressure washers gravity feeding though! I gotta have it leveled
Yes sir let me know if you need help setting it up. I do consultations now.
That smal extension was a great tip for me awesome content ! Recently had to send in my generator due to plugging into the smaller outlets and burning a fuse
Glad to help man. Yea one of my 110v plugs just stopped working awhile back. Weird.
Awesome video! I too had a 6x10 detail trailer and I found it very cumbersome. I downsized to my midsize truck and I feel a weight lifted off. It’s good to know someone else feels the same!
Yea man way better outta the truck bed.
Hey Gary, love the videos man! Very informative and thorough! My pops and I enjoy seeing your walkthrough videos, detail videos and much more. Keep being an amazing father you are! Don’t work too hard bro! 😎🤙🏼 #stayslick
Wow man thank you so much for the love. God bless you guys.
Good luck brother . Always enjoy the videos.👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you brother.
Love the set up men. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thank you bro
Awesome Setup Man!
Thank you bro it’s changed a few times since. I can’t keep anything the same for too long
Hey man I love the videos been following for awhile this video was perfect for me as I run my business out my pickup truck and find it hard to find other set ups I like
Right on brother thank you so much for watching if you have any suggestions or anything shoot em.
Thank you Gary! I have a Tacoma that I hope to set up similar to this.
So it brother. Share pics when you do.
Very good video brother appreciate your presentation 🙌🏽🙏🏽
Thank you bro
Great Video, I have a 03 Tacoma set up all I'm missing is those hose reels and that 30 amp. Keep it up
Thanks brother. Tacomas are nice.
That 2.0 tho!! Hell yeah, cheers!!
Heck yea man I can’t wait.
My back and front seat is full of stuff. Just like yours. I don’t do this for a living but am their to get my truck cleaned up. Paint corrected etc. so all my supplies are in the truck and uncovered bed. Hoping they don’t get stolen. Lol one option for truck beds Vs OSB which doesn’t like water is using horse trailer rubber mats. Super thick and extremely durable. You could screw into them if you wanted to. My bed is 8’and is covered in that rubber Mat. Maybe 3/4” thick. They sell them at tractor supply.
Good idea. I used to have a bunch for my garage gym
Hey, great setup. If you ever need to replace your generator. champion generator has a remote start. 👍
Yeah, a good buddy of mine who is also a detailer around here has that champion 4500 generator.
I dig it.
Need this ASAP!
Get it
😮💨 sick set up bro
Thank you brother.
Nice set up.
Thank you bro
Great video as always Garry, I would make the full slide out bed so you don't need to stretch for anything... I was going to do the slide bed in my nissan frontier but end up buying the van...... great video as always 👌🏽
Yeah, I can see that being very beneficial the only thing I’m worried about is the tank and everything else still feeling under my truck bed cover because at this point, I only have about 1 inch
@@StaySlick oh ok got you... if you had more space rather than a inch would be great
Nice setup …
awesome vid homie!
have you thought about maybe getting a camper shell? i currently have a nissan frontier and run a very similar set up but i have a 100 gallon and i think a camper shell for me would be extremely beneficial. Anyways thanks for continuously providing great videos for us!
God Bless You! 🙏🤙
Right on brother thank you for the support. Yes, my first idea was to run a camper shell but I chose not to because of the cost and extra weight. If I wanted to get one have it color matched and then get the decals put on again for my business, it would cost me well over 2000 I just like running a low profile set up as I think it looks cleaner but I can definitely see how running a camper shell would allow me to have more of what I need.
Nice setups brother
Thank you
Pump is pretty good man I got like 35 Gallon it's helps cause it does get to tripping some the the pressure be acting like it's not prime
Great set-up. How do you have everything running on the 30 amp outlet ?
Great job. Is the 3500 predator really necessary if running 1 device at a time? I run an active 2.0 on a 2500w generac and was curious if I need to step it up to 3500w or so. Thanks
Anyway you can provide the link for the inlet of the pressure washer. That split pvc valve and the piece that goes into the pressure washer? Thank you
Hey! Quick question. So I see the 30 amp circuit cord, how do you have everything on the remote though to work?
Great video, what is the remote plug outlets you use called?
amzn.to/3NStVHX
I have a similar set up but I removed the back seats on my truck and I have a lot more space now
Nice good idea. I wish I could but I’ve got two little ones
Do you have a video explaining the set up in 30 amp circuit
Can i use the 30amp line on a predator 2000 generator?
can you make a video about the power with the controller and how you set it up
I no longer use it but raldas details has a video on it.
Yes sir!
You know wassup
Thanks for the Content & Insight. I have a question... Where did you get your water hose shut off valve and cross connection? Also... how did you go about mounting/bolting your reels to the ply wood? Thanks again!!!
I just made the pvc T connection out of pieces from Home Depot. I mounted the reels with screws when I did this video now I use bolts.
How do you set the remote up, and where’d you get it?
Awesome setup! Quick question but what air vent did you use for your water tank?
No sir vent sir. Not necessary
Nice set up Gary. Does a electric pressure washer need to have a recirculation water line as some gas pressure washers have. I got the AR blue but not the TSS. Is it safe to run it as so?
Hey brother, thank you if your pressure washer does not have a total stop system then you are going to have to run a return tube to your tank.
Great video man! I Love the setup!
I just have one question? What exact material did you use to gravity feed your pressure washer? I been struggling to find things at Home Depot.
I just put the tank up on 4 x 6 blocks and used clear braided tubing into my pressure washer that’s all
Hey Gary, what hose reel are you using with the Uber flex hose? Great vid btw! Keep it up🤟🏼
Thank you bro. It’s a general pump 100 ft reel but I’m only running 50 ft
I have a gas powered power washer, I want to put it in my truck but when using it, I think it is too loud. I want to get an electric power washer. Do you recommend the switch?
Awesome set up how did you set up the remote start up for the machines ?
amzn.to/3pGAkhr
Cheers!
Cheers to you brother
bro what is the link for the connectors that you have remote control that you can turn them on individually just like you have them I did not find the link in your description
amzn.to/3SuML9B
looks great man, could The ryobi pressure washer be power by a converter coneccted to the battery? thanks in advance
I would assume so but I don't have enough knowledge on that to tell you for sure
@@StaySlick thanks bro
Do you have a link for your bottle holders and did you mount the to the
amzn.to/3VqLRNq
What size water tank I need I have a 250 gallon tank for pressure washing houes to but I don't have to fill it up
That’s overkill in my opinion but to each their own.
nice setup. how much did it all cost without the truck? I've spent around $4,000 on my trailer setup but want to move to a truck bed setup. Let me know!
I never really added it up bro.
Do see any benefit to running your new truck (very nice btw) vs getting into a smaller van (Ford Transit)?
Just not having an extra payment.
How long did the active last before it started to mess up ?
The old VE 52 lasted me roughly 4 months before it messed up. But they have redone those units to fix the common issues. Also, I just received a warranty item from them about one week ago.
We’re did you get your remote control on off switch at?
amzn.to/3gLpkeH
When doing gravity feed pressure washer set up. Does top lid should be open when everything in use or close top lid?
In theory, you would think you need the lid open and I’m sure it has a purpose but I have never done it and never had any issues
@@StaySlick thanks for info.
Where are you from boss man how did you set up everything one remote
I’m in Fresno
Hows you plug up the top outlet on the tank
Garden hose to garden hose adapter with a cap on one side.
What’s the name of that generator and what price? Might need to buy that
Predator 3500 Invertor generator. I think it’s around $950 at harbor freight
Hey do you use 50ft hose or 100
50
How did u set up that remote ??
amzn.to/3ppfuTT
What’s the dimension on the plywood ?
Where did u get ur water tank
A local detail shop called Gloss Empire in Tulare ca
Where you get the water tanks ?
A local detail store
What brand is the 30 amps plug
The 30 amp plug is built into my generator and the adapter is linked in the description of the video
Are you using RV water like Joel and Sal
No sir I'm using deionized water
Where can I get your bottle 32 oz bottle holders from? Thanks in advance
Hey James they’re made by Maxshine. I believe they’re also available on Amazon.
@@StaySlick , thanks.
What type of screws would you recommend to keep the plywood attached to bed liner??
I just used regular wood screws
Just set up everything outside the truck bed, like a template without screwing anything to the plywood yet
When you have everything the way you want, start making holes on the plywood, go from the bottom up, what I mean is use the screw long enough from going from the bottom of the plywood up with a washer on that side, now screw from the top down with a nut. The washer is to keep it tight and make it hold better. The weight of the water tank will keep everything in one place but make sure to make holes on the 4 corners of the plywood and on the trunk bed liner, this will keep it from sliding when driving. I would go a little further, screw some pieces of wood in the front of the water tank to hold the plywood in place (drill the holes first then use the screws on the plywood and the retaining wood) this will aloud the same weight of the water tank to keep the plywood to slide side to side or the front when driving, attach the water tank with straps to the truck bed. Voila! It will keep everything in place
Good info thank you brother.
Where you get blue hose for the rigid
Why is it you don’t like pumps ?
Where did you get the low profile tank and how many gallons
Somebody didn’t watch the video lol. It’s 60 gallons and I got it from Gloss Empire in Tulare ca
@@StaySlick I watched just couldn't hear it due to my buds battery went off. Lol. Thanks
What size water tank and where did you get it?
60 gal. Gloss Empire
@@StaySlick bro, how many cars Will 35 gallon tank do
What generator is that?
Predator 3500
Also where did you get the connectors that come out of the pressure washer. Like that red small hose thing? Or where’d you get all the plumbing pieces in general?
its neat as fuck.
Watched because I miss my G.
I miss u big dawg. How are the vehicles workin out? Ceramic still hangin on?
I second this! I miss my G as well. Congrats on the new setup homie
Hey bro, thank you I miss you too brother. We gotta hook up soon.
Where you get the water tank from? Everyone leaves that information out of there videos 😡
Most people get them from a local detail or farm supply store
@@StaySlick I’m from the Midwest so we don’t have a detail supply store. Amazon sellers want over $300 for 60 gallons
@@SRT_k1ng yea I went to a local detail supply store and spent $350 on this tank. That’s pretty normal for that size tank.
@@StaySlick ok thanks
I still don’t know how you get that gravity fed to work seriously I have a pump inbetween with same pressure washer ????🫣
Do you have the tank high enough? I have my tank up on 4x6’s on the 4” side.
@@StaySlick I had it higher and hose was short to make direct contact so just amazes me how people do it lol
