    Mike another great video. Each week you are providing insight into another item that makes playing less than enjoyable.     These are really great videos Mike. However, I find it more and more frustrating that I can't hit an iron shot crisply despite utilizing many of your suggestions. This is particularly annoying to me because hitting irons solidly was what I once did so well. I'm sixty-three and just now getting back to playing more regularly after a 3 year hiatus.

    I thought the direction the ball takes off is swing path,and what the ball does in the air is club face?

      Hi Rickie, what you’re talking about used to be taught on a regular basis. The “old ball flight laws” have been proven to be flawed by today’s hi frame rate cameras. For a right-handed golfer, If center face contact is made, the ball will curve left if the face is closed to the path, and curve right if it is open to the path.
