Hi Mike. Makes sense. Do you have any vids or drills on not shanking the ball ? I know why it happens(hitting on hossle) but how do I fix it. In a slump, need help ! Thanks so much.

Hi Charles. I have a few videos about stopping the shanks but I'm always trying to do a better job of finding the answer. If it was as easy as explaining the shanks away, everyone would have already fixed them. But here's something that may help. Make sure you feel weight transferring into your lead heel on your downswing as opposed to the ball of your foot or toe. It can be helpful to practice with a broomstick underneath the ball of your lead foot. I will make a video about this in the future. I have had the shanks myself and I know how frustrating it is. Best of luck.

I am not sure I understand. Is the drill to shift your weight?

Hi Glenn, the drill is designed to help a golfer become accustomed to striking the ball with their weight and hands more forward than their original setup position.
