    The Aeroplan card is definitely in my future. Aeroplan is my #1 transfer partner for sure. When there is a transfer bonus thats huge.

      When you add in the transfer bonus and have the card, I don't think any program beats aeroplan. The award prices are just too good!

    Yeah people don’t realize that you can use the Cash card to buy gift cards to pretty much anywhere at office supply stores and get that x5 on your purchases. Great top 5 video! Thanks for sharing.

    Timeframe to obtaining Ritz is no different than applying for any new annual fee card, waiting 1 year then canceling…not sure what the big deal is compared to outsized value

      For people who frequently stay at Marriotts, I don't think it is a big deal. But for people like me who don't seach out Marriott properties, I don't think it is worth it to first get a card that I don't want for a year, to then get Ritz-Carlton card that, although powerful, works for a hotel chain that I don't visit very often.

    Solid video! I love my OG Freedom for Costco but I do need to add the Flex version when slots allow. My top 5: CIP, CF/CFF, CFU, CIC, and CIU (just for the sub). If I were more of a loyalist to SWA, United, or Hyatt - I'd add those.

      Nice top 5! I wish I had a Costco near me, but the closest one is a 20min drive, and that is if there is no LA traffic 🙃

    Very good breakdown and reasoning behind your top 5 chase cards! Their ecosystem is my primary focus due to the obvious Hyatt program lol. I currently hold the Freedom Unlimited, Ink Preferred and Ink unlimited too.. I’ll hunt down the Ink cash next!

    I wonder if there’s any limit to how many aeroplan miles can be used for PYB- particular transferred in points from other banks, whether or not there’s an official cap

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 місяці тому +1

      @WhatsThePoints1 I read about a guy who got shutdown for doing it with amex points to his aeroplan account and doing PYB with his Chase aeroplan card. He was literally doing millions of points, so although it is a data point, not the greatest one due to the scale he was doing it at. I don't know the limit, but there seems to be one that both Chase and aeroplan have

    Nice video JP. My top Chase Cards in no particular order would have to be CFU, CSR, Hyatt, Ritz

    Did a 2 player INK Business Preferred both ways for 320,000 UR points. Just got the cards in time for my 2nd installment of property taxes due 9/3. Will instantly hit spend on 1 card and almost 6K on the other.

      @@jpknowledge8852 it's payment on multiple rental properties taxes, 2.25% surcharge but well worth it. I think of it as buying 320,000 Hyatt points for $315 (14,000 taxes x 2.25%surcharge)

  • @soapa4279

    The CFU is 1.5X, because it gets balanced out with 3X on dining and drugstores. Also 5X if you book through Chase travel.
    Then it’s even more valuable to people who have a CSP or CSR which bumps up to 1.875% or 2.25% as long as they’re ok with the Chase portal.
    If not, then yeah the Aeroplan setup is actually a nice alternative.
    Also that Ink card for 5X points for Amazon GC’s is freakin amazing. Definitely looking forward to doing that one day when I’m under 5/24.
    Overall great video though 🎉

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 місяці тому

      That math makes sense, and I think it is the reason Chase doesn't have a 2x card that earns UR points because if you combine it with the travel portal, it becomes a greater return than Chase wants to give us.

    • @soapa4279
      @soapa4279 4 місяці тому

      @@jpknowledge8852 Yup it’s all part of the plan to funnel more people to use their portal.

    I’m not sure why you said that the grocery multiplier on the aeroplan card is only good if you fly to Canada, they do have the best partners available right now.

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 місяці тому

      I think what I meant to be said was, the grocery multipler is the only one I would use unless I'm flying to Canada on Air Canada. 3x on dining can be given to you on many other Chase cards, so there no reason to use the aeroplan card for that.

    No arguments here, the Ink Cash is king! I'm looking to product change my Ink Unlimited to an Ink Cash solely to take advantage of the 5% on office supply stores. It will personally be my steady stream of UR points starting next year.

    • @jpknowledge8852
      @jpknowledge8852  4 місяці тому

      If you are under 5/24, I would say apply for the card and get the lucrative welcome offer 🙌🏾 I have a link in the description box if you don't have a player 2 😉😂 If not, then a product change makes sense. It is a great card to earn UR points.

      @geraldalves9107 4 місяці тому

      @@jpknowledge8852 I agree but I'm way over 5/24 until late next year so my strategy was to rack up UR points this way while putting 15k on the Surpass twice to get a few FNCs.

    Amazon stopped selling gift cards in my state… New York. Might need to revise that list for New York State or in the event Amazon pulls gift cards in stores for all states…. Just sayin’ But also not a huge fan of Amazon card as the points/cash back are stuck in Amazon. If it was UR it would be more valuable of a card.

    • @jpknowledge8852
