Bro . I just took delivery on my R1T within 72 hours lol... Got access tothe R1Shop wednesday night took delivery Saturday morning. You are a big reason why I made the leap from an EV6 to R1T Thank you for your content.
So exciting and congrats man! Really happy to hear that😃
Great video! I reallllllly need an R1T
After a long day, this was a great relaxing video to watch before bed. Perfect work as always and I look forward to the next one.
Thanks Jirka! 🙌🏻
Another great video. It’s cool seeing Christina make more appearances in your videos. She’s a natural in front of the camera!
Thanks Jason! It’s been nice to be able to include her more in the videos :)
The colors 😍 Thank you for continuing to share your adventures. Such fun to watch.
Such amazing colors in Sedona! Thanks for watching🙌🏻
Absolutely amazing! Your videos really show your attention to detail, flow beautifully and are top notch! Love the light, playfulness at the end, you should do more of that! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, awesome!
Thank you! So happy you enjoyed it🙌🏻
Welcome to Arizona! 🌵
Love your videos.
Thank you!
Wow, breathtaking filming and editing my friend! You presented this masterfully!
Thanks so much!🙌🏻
Fun fact about that McDonalds. Sedona has a very strict architecture rules about colors to preserve the red rocks look. So it’s only McDonalds in the world where the arches aren’t golden and that’s why they are turquoise.
This is really cool to info - very interesting!
West lake California also has a non golden arch McDonalds for the same reason. They also have a grey target logo.
great video man - good vibes!
Thanks dude!
Awesome video !!!
Thanks!!
I just discovered your channel a few days ago, and the quality of your videography (the editing, drone shots, and cool music choices) is outstanding--I think your channel has an extremely bright future . Having lived in Scottsdale/Phoenix area for 40 years, you showed me parts of Sedona I had never seen, so thank you for sharing this with us . I think if you send Rivian some of your footage while on the Broken Arrow trail up in Sedona, they'll be buying it from you to use in their promotional spots for the R1T! Looking forward to more from you in the future--glad you had a fun and safe time on your trip!
Thanks for the support and welcome to the channel! Great to hear from a local that you enjoyed the video 🙌🏻
Very kool video, well done.
Thank you!
It was great seeing you had the guts to take the Rivian down the Devil’s Staircase. In the dark too. I’ve done that many times in my Wrangler, and was curious how the Rivian would do. Easy Peasy. I agree, that hill is much more impressive in person than in the video.
Thanks I really enjoy pushing the limits on this truck! That trail overall is so cool I definitely want to go back there at some point and see the entire thing during the day👍🏻
Yesss so glad you came back to AZ! Just got my R1T and we’ll have go hit some trailers together next time you come to AZ!
That would be awesome! AZ is beautiful definitely a lot more places I want to check out there👍🏻
Waiting on my R1S to show up soon. This is probably the best rivian video ive seen.1 because I'm also an avid outdoors person. Seeing it succeed on some moderate offroad trails in nice. Im not likely to do tougher than that like the locked rigs ive had. 2 rivian adventure network! Knowing theres reliable spots to plug in makes all the difference. I'll also be traveling from LA to places unknown.
Thanks and happy to be inspiring adventures in other Rivian owners! The truck is very capable and I’ve had great luck with the Rivian charging network as well.
Ugh, the R1T is my dream truck. I'll never be able to afford one, but maaan I want one lol.
Ngl I feel the same way lmao hopefully I win the lottery or something
The Hoover dam is much more impressive from the other side. Maybe that's why you remember it being so much bigger.
These videos are like ASMR for me lol
Haha that’s great to hear!
Love the videos. It provides us a lot of inspiration for our own adventures. : ) Curious if you use conserve on the highway regularly, or only when you need to stretch the mileage between stops.
Thanks! I generally use Conserve on the highway during long trips but otherwise I keep it in All Purpose
I've watched a few of your videos, looking at purchasing an R1T myself. I noticed you have the 20" bright wheels in some and then they appear to be either powder coated or you switched to the darks?
Stephen, at 14:35, it shows you have a 1.99mi/kWh efficiency. That looks to include 214 miles and some of that off-roading. That's amazing. I usually get less than 1mi/kWh when off-roading.
Really depends on the terrain! I generally see about 1.6-1.7mi/KwH when off roading
Great video! They keep getting better and better. Always enjoy watching them. Finally got my Rivian R1T! I can't wait to take it on it's first adventure.
Sedona is very beautiful, I used to live there. The broken arrow trail is a legit trail, perhaps a 6 out of 10 on difficulty, it's impressive that the Rivian could navigate it so easily. My old F150 on 35s did it. Too bad BLM and USFS are shutting down so much public land for us overlanders though. There is so much public land around the Sedona area, I don't see any reason why the government should herd everyone into the same 1/2 acre space; the whole reason I camp is to be out and away from everyone else and immerse myself in nature.
Anyways great video and thanks for making it and covering the charging along the way.
Thanks for the support and congrats on the R1T! Really happy you have been enjoying the videos🙌🏻
It’s definitely a bummer about the restrictions on open space around Sedona but it’s still such an awesome place!
EA nightmares almost done with Tesla Superchargers 👌 thanks Rivian to join NACS
Very much looking forward to that lol
Have to do the rubicon trial or nothing 😂
That would be a fun challenge 😂
Quick question, was the Rivian charger not open at Sedona? Or was the EA more convenient? I see one listed on the Rivian website/charger map and I’m planning to head in that direction later this year.
It wasn’t open yet when I was there but exciting to have one in Sedona!
How much was the total cost of charging for the trip?
Coming from Tesla charging network. Is 3rd party charging like EA, Charge Point, etc., really that unreliable?
"Damn chargers are not working" - All I ever hear from EV folks
Wonder why electrify emerican can't get their chargers working.
Not sure 🙄 Although I’ve had decent luck with their chargers for the most part
Straight up parked by a blooming century plant to take pictures and didn't even acknowledge it.
All I knew was that it was amazing to see! Any interesting info you can provide?
@@ChargeOverland They normally take around 20 years to bloom and die shortly after. Although the plants themselves aren't rare, seeing one blooming is.
Great video, would have been a much better trip not having to stop and charge all the time
I’m cringing as he’s going down the “staircase “ 😖😅
It looks very sketch, and to do it at night!? Vary brave heh…
