Jake Kaufman did a great job with this soundtrack. Just a shame this game ran into some issues early on, which killed the momentum of the game selling more than what it actually did.

I noticed that this song has the same soul as Shakira's She-Wolf - both songs are different, but the beats, the vocals, and the lyrics have the same feel. I wonder if She-Wolf was the inspiration.
I grew up in the 80's and when Double Dragon hit the arcades, it was HUGE. It's credited as popularizing (if not introducing) the "Beat'em up" genre (a.k.a. Brawlers). The music in the arcade version is memorable and well composed. Double Dragon Neon did an awesome job remaking those great tracks and also introducing new music that fit amazing well with the game. This track, in particular, sounds like something I would have heard on your local radio station. The artists did a damn good job and this became one of my favorites.

Back when These games were new, going to the arcade at night with a group of friends (4 guys, three girls in my case) and just hanging out. My friend Alisa always brought a small boom box and we'd jam out to Def Leppard, Ratt and Dokken in front of an ally between a pizza joint and Rabbit Records. Damn, these memories keep flooding back. We must have been just 13 at the time. Damn good memories. Bad thing was that we all started smoking tobacco at that time. The 80's was the best though. 90's were pretty kick ass. Sadly, you can't get away with half the stuff we did back then. There's just some memories I can't let go.

We both just turned 30 and we brought our friends and girl friends. Spent every weekend each summer just jamming out. Met allot of new friends with house boats that joined us. Tied our boats together. Some kids were there so if anyone drank a bit too much, they went to the adult boat. We had computers, old game systems. Even setup a driving range in the middle of the ocean (long story). Everything was 80's and early 90's rock. Sadly, I'm 46. No one wants to do anything anymore. I was going to do a retro gaming UA-cam channel just for fun, but I can't get my fellow geezers out of the house anymore. Ugh... I want to go back.

But there is a reason why I.. or so to say...WE. Came back in the means of discovery. I really wouldn’t call it a science. All I have to say is that Scientology has its limitations in the future due to a rediscovery off more “ancient” arts.
I remember when this came out … I came home from the bar drunk and blasted this it was on repeat and I passed out 6hrs I woke up and it was still playing my poor downstairs neighbours I was so embarrassed 🙈
