We stayed at Vdara in October and found it perfect for how we do Vegas. It’s more like staying in a condo than a hotel. Aria is so close that we didn’t miss not having a casino or nice restaurants in the building. We’ll definitely go back.
Just booked a panoramic suite at the Vdara for April. Have stayed at the Aria several times and many other mgm properties over the yrs. Couldnt believe the bang for the buck at this property. We have a full kitchen with sitting area, washer and dryer, living room, and a nice king bedroom with 50" tv in both the living and bedroom, seperate vanity, double sink, soaking tub, and stand up shower. Suite is 811 sq ft. Not too mention a full glass panoramic view from the entrance of the suite all the way around to the bathroom. All the blinds are automatic. We are staying for 6 nights for under $2,300.00. Have stayed in a basic king at the Aria for $450.00 a night in the past even as a gold and platinum member of mgm. Excited to see the property. Also excited to come down to the lobby and not get locked in the middle of the casino blasted with cigarette smoke the second you get off the elevator. Looking forward to staying at the Vdara and will update my comment after my stay for your followers.
As someone who stayed at Vdara last year, it was an awesome experience. The room was really nice (had a view toward Bellagio), I didn't mind walking outside to get to Aria (was nice in the morning), and it was close to T-Mobile Arena for the NCAAs. One thing I'd note, and I'm sure this has been brought up before, if you stay there, take the extra few minutes to stock up by going to CVS, which is closer to Park MGM. You have to go for a good walk to get through Aria to get to the bridge and make your way over, but your wallet will thank you. Good stuff! And I will definitely go back there in the future!
Yeah, it’s a great tip to get your snacks off site as it’s so much more expensive in the hotel markets. And with Vdara, you can even get real food since you have amenities!
You may have convinced me to finally give Vdara a shot sometime! Being "behind the action" has been a deciding factor, but you're absolutely correct about how some properties like Caesar's Palace can take you way longer to navigate from room to casino and beyond. A little peace and quiet is a big win after hectic days out and about. The new walkways make a huge positive impact. Great video kids!! 🥳🥰
I only recently saw this video and yes Vdara looks amazing but it's definitely out of my price range. It's great that there are 3 casinos within walking distance so that wouldn't be an issue for me if i was staying there. My opinion though is that no matter how luxurious these hotels are I still don't think they make the same amount of money as the casino resorts on the Vegas Strip. It's not a rule though that every hotel in Las Vegas has to have a casino but that's how Sin City makes it's living. Great video Melissa👍
Melissa and Enrique. Well done. Video was amazing. Vdara and as you know Mgm Signature are my two favorite properties. Top notch production. Time for a Kona Big Wave. Cheers
Great and informative video review. Melissa looking really great in these videos now and Enrique is looking as invisible as always. Camera work and editing is really good, great picture and camera work, you can actually see and read everything when Enrique pans the camera around. Vdara looks like a great and convenient place to stay. Now we know all the secret places you stay when you won't tell us where you are.
Excellent produced video of Vdara - wow! Even at 2:44 on such a gloomy day, your content still makes Vdara property look sexy and desirable. Vegas is lucky to have you both 👏🏽
Great review guys! Vdara is definitely our home away from from home. The best part is the non casino aspect of it. Nice not to hear DING DING DING "Buffalo!" DING. First thing in the morning. The market place has saved our assess more then once! Pretty decent food on the go. We now own scent sticks and our guest room now has the Vdara smell......we have problems.....lol.
@UpUpOurWay definitely check the essential shops, when you get back! The Cromwell is one we would love to find. Closest we have found is a Glade candle, that almost smells like it.
Great video… One thing to mention, you can take Aria's monorail from Vdara to Aria. (pretty cool experience at night) I mention this because Vdara does not have self service parking , it is valet only. If you have MGM status you can park at Aria for free and not have to walk through Aria with all your gear.
Wait, am I missing something? The tram goes from Aria to Crystals and Bellagio. Also, yes on the parking! We had a clip that we accidentally left out about the parking situation. Bummer.
Looking for an accessible friendly hotel for my mother and I to stay at since she's wheelchair bound and has difficulty walking. Thank you for showing how close everything is! That's a big plus !
Yes! It’s so easy to get around there, BUT it is set far back from the strip if you’re wanting to walk/wheel the strip. If you’re fine sticking with Aria, Cosmo, Bellagio and Park MGM and use transportation elsewhere, you’ll be totally fine!
Wow. Great hotel and great video! How was the water pressure in shower? Its understood that it is inevitable to put low pressure shower head in LV hotels as there is water conservation issues in the area with so many people coming in.
Hi. Nice video. I’ve stayed at Vdara many times and never been offered a drink voucher. Is that a new thing and if not what are your thoughts about not getting offered vouchers?
Our family is asking if this hotel is handicap friendly for paralyzed patients? It would be very helpful if you could please provide us with your answers. Thank you so very much.
Of course, all Las Vegas hotels are required to have wheelchair access and accessible rooms but I think the answer depends on what you want to do. If you want to gamble, then maybe it would be easier to stay at a location with a casino. There’s also not a true restaurant onsite. Just a place with sandwiches and a bar with light bites. On the positive side, the elevators are very easy to get to from the lobby and quieter than other hotels
@upupourway. What room did you highlight at the start of the video. We are trying Vdara on our next trip and my wife needs a desk to work at. I see a good desk in that room. I couldn’t quite tell from the floor plans which did or did not. Looking at a City Corner Suite. Which I think does. What about the others like the studios? Great video. Well done. Is the pool open late October/Early November ?
Both of the rooms are studios; the one with the partition is a parlor studio and the other is just a studio. Pools normally close by November 1, but as a guest of Vdara you can visit the pools at Aria and I think they keep one heated and open year round 😃
@@UpUpOurWaydid they both have a desk? can you also use the gym at Cosmo. I really like the gym in the Cosmo tower that is closest to the walkway from. Vdara ( Chelsea ? )
Thanks for the video. We are considering this property. Do you have any information on parking for this resort? I understand it is the same parking lot as Aria. Do you have to walk from the back to the front of Aria and use the walkway to get to Vdara?
They do have valet at Vdara. For self parking, you can park at Aria. It’s a bit of a trek from the parking garage. We stayed there very recently and parked at Cosmopolitan. Park near the Chelsea elevators, which take you to the lobby. Look for the room elevators and go to floor 2. Walk toward wicked spoon and you’ll see the new walkway, which takes you right to the Vdara. I found this to be the better option.
Great video! With regards to the covered walkways between the hotels, would it make it easier to walk further to the north end of the strip like Venitian?
Glad you asked. Somehow we had a clip about parking and left it out 🤦♀️. Vdara has a garage but it’s valet only. For self parking, you can park at Aria and walk over or park at Cosmo near the Chelsea elevators. When you exit the parking garage elevators, take the hotel elevators (very close) to 3rd floor to get to the walkway. I think this way is closer now!

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always pleasant. Love that it’s a smoke free environment.
People still smoke inside hotels, rooms, lobbies?
