- With the adaptive cut-off line the driver always has optimal visibility. The system detects other vehicles based on their lighting and regulates the headlamps automatically. The frontlighting is regulated within milliseconds, so that the light beam ends below the bumper of the oncoming traffic or traffic ahead. The conventional reach of the low beam of 60 to 70 meters thereby can be increased to up to 200 meters. If no traffic is detected, the system automatically switches to high beam.
