Need an "Apollo Speaking 10 Hours" video.
Apollo's only two, and they only use the good ones. Plus, they probably don't want a camera running at all times. It would take a long time before that would come out. Plus, nobody would get long into it. 10 hour videos are used for sleep or doing just stuff that takes a while, and they're usually music or ambient sounds, not funny haha bird words. The viewer retention rate would be horrible, which means that they wouldn't get paid much for their work. I highly doubt they'll ever make something like this.
I'm using this as background to work. It's surprisingly making me concentrate 😂.

Apollo obviously loves his mates he makes so many family sounds to the air signaling he is part of the family of the humans as he emulates them and part of the two parroletts. All this talking is so charming thanks for sharing ☄️🌟✨⚡️🍆🥦🫐🍉🍋🥥🥕🧅🧄🫚🥯🥯🍫🍮🍮🍮🍿🎂🍨🍨
Apollo is the best. I had a scarlet parrot and it was the best friend I've ever had, better than most humans 💙😊

I’ve heard him say Soleil a lot, but not Ophelia. Is that simply because Soleil is easier to say, and/or he has learned how to say one name but not the other? Like the way he says Tori a lot but doesn’t often say Dalton (at least I haven’t seen it much on camera)? Or might it also have something to do with Apollo and Soleil being closer friends?
Soleil seemed to be easier for him to learn, and she’s also his favorite.

I wonder if Tori and Dalton ever notice Apollo speaking/making sounds in other people's voices. Of course i know he mimics a variety of sounds, human and otherwise, but parrots don't tend to meet that many people regularly. Sometimes i think i hear him speak with a voice that doesn't sound like his own, Dalton's or Tori's voice. No idea how often they have other people around, but at least these last few weeks there has been the ~mysterious~ cameraman present during the livestreams, my guess is that it's entirely possible that he might start mimicking their voice, although the sounds they make might (?) not be as interesting to him as Tori and Dalton's sounds are.

He reminds me, a non native speaker (living in a country with another language), of myself just randomly talking to myself in english, just because it's fun 😊
I do the exact same thing! not for modern english specifically as I'm a native speaker, but I definitely just spout random words in middle english, welsh, afrikaans, etc.. sometimes the words just sound _fun_. other times you've just got to practise pronouncing them!
(middle english is what was spoken between about 1100 and 1500 btw ☻)

It seems that Apollo isn’t that interested in Ophelia. I imagine it’s because her name is harder to pronounce.
@@FormulaOneFan98 I thought so too, I think Tori also mentioned in one of their videos that Ophelia doesn't really like to play rough, so she backs away from Apollo.

whenever apollo's speaking gets less distinct, he sounds a lot like conversations when my auditory processing disorder is acting up lol

How much do they sleep?
I think they usually sleep the same amount as the humans, but I don’t know if they take naps . (I don’t think they do. )
in my experience (albeit with parakeets, not parrots or parrotlets), they usually sleep about the same as humans; dusk to dawn, with dusk being whenever you put them to bed. but my birds tend to also nap any time between 12pm and 2pm as well. they like their siestas and they will get grouchy if you wake them up 😂
