I'm really pleased with how the background turned out and I'm excited to show you what else I have in the works with it. I hope you all enjoy this one and have a great weekend SerpaSquad!
So glad he’s safe and this new enclosure is one for the books! The new concrete stuff you showed off is awesome definitely using it on my next enclosure!!!!!
Looks nice Tanner good to see you move towards concrete. My brother did his countertops with the buddy Rhodes system it's good stuff. May I suggest a plant that grows FL. To AK. Eleocharis palustris as a pond guy you probably have seen it. It can be pruned if it gets too tall and makes a dense root mat that Sampson would no doubt love to dig through. You could even rinse the root ball and replant when a substrate change is needed.
Was he perhaps looking for a mate tho? It's something pet owners to consider when and while keeping those pets. When I pick a pet, I try and keep in mind as mating is natural behavior and having access to it may be important for well being. Thus I go for community species of frogs that can mate peacefully and that excessive eggs can be culled/used as feeders for other pets (I don't like that part) 😬
@@hefoxed it's honestly something I hadn't considered so thanks for the insight! I'm not taking care of any animals at the moment but it's something to consider if/when I do

I love how animal focused these are. It’s not hard to make something that looks pretty, but to make it look good while meeting an animal’s needs and thinking of their potential desires and lifespan etc. That’s what makes these magic.
Agreed. As a fishkeeper it’s often a concern I have when I see all these amazing aquascapes, that people are only focused on aesthetics and proper animal husbandry is just an afterthought for them, but it could just be my anxiety
