This could work well with aromages, the life gain they get counteracts the sunavalon direct attacking and healer helps with aromages gimmick. Plus the sunavalon links have generic materials besides link 2 needing a sunavalon link monster. Seems good to me.
As an aromage player, I can tell you very few if any of these help aromages. Healer is not worth playing because it requires a normal monster (the only good one is trumpeter and it's not that good)as material and it's heal is not worth it because aromages care mostly about higher life points rather than gaining life points. Maiden is decent because it protects your extra deck monsters but sweet majoram does that by herself and rosemary is not that good most of the time. Shadow seed is a free material so yes please. And the link monsters besides the first are...ok but Jasmin as a link monster is just so much better because she searches and special summons from the deck. This offers nothing that generic type or in archetype support doesn't already offer, but seems to be a fun archetype onto itself so...have fun

One strategy I found would be: 1) Activate Unexpected Dai -> Summon Sunseed Genius Loci 2) Link Summon Dryas -> Get Sunvine Shrine 3) Activate Sunvine Shrine (discard Spore) -> Revive Sunseed Genius Loci 4) Normal Summon Aromage Jasmine -> Link Summon Sunvine Healer 5) Gain LP -> Draw a card (Jasmine) -> Link Summon Aromaseraphy Jasmine (using Dryas and Healer) 6) Revive Spore (banish Loci) -> Tribute Spore to summon Lonefire Blossom (Aromaseraphy Jasmine effect)-> Tribute Lonefire to summon Gigaplant 7) Normal Summon Gigaplant (Jasmine effect) -> Revive Lonefire From there you can do what you want. @@jofx4051 While you are not wrong saying that they all activate an effect when you gain LP it's also wrong to say that that's everything they are. All Aromages also have an effect that's active while you have the higher LP like an additional NS, plants doing piercing, buffs/debuffs etc.
@@aaronabbey2604 most of the time you're normal summoning Lonefire, and you'd need a revival card to summon Lonefire again if you tributed it (which is the most likely scenario in the first two turns... wether you went first or second.)
If they do this pack next year I hope they release Valon's Armor deck finally. 13 cards in one go means he'd only be missing 5 cards from his deck after that.
In the anime, Healer had a second effect which searched a "Sunavalon" S/T on the endphase, which was never used but existed in the card text. Other than that and the lack of Glorious Growth, this is very accurate.
All I want now from Selection 10 are the last Machina cards: 1) The dark counterpart of Machina Sniper (as shown in Machina Resavenger) 2) The dark counterpart of Machina Citadel or Machina Force (as shown in Machina Overdrive) 3) Maybe a dark counterpart of Commander Covington (that is a Machina)
I feel like they're going to short print the hell out of them and make em tier 1 right off the bat. They want money and there's hype behind them so I wouldn't be surprised if they got loads of good support like blackwings or cyber dragons.

Yeah it would be kinda dumb not to cuz if rescue rabbit fails or you some how got two of the Vanillas banished (desires) or in the graveyard the last one it the back up
That and it gives graveyard set up for sunvine shrine and a target for twins why searching the normal monster, also keeping in mind lone fire blossom is still a card in the tcg
I'm sure glorious Growth (The Burn Card) will either not make it or will be nerfed af. Simply because Konami would find it scary to deal a lot of burn and people propably would find ways to FTK with it. Yes, it ist a trap but... I think glorious Growth may be too dangerous in their eyes.

Aromas. Rikkas. Sylvans... Theyre getting some nice support. Im curious of just how potent a Turn 1 play will be with just the avalon cards. Theyre also getting a pretty good-looking wall-ish negate or do this other defensive thing trap card.
I love that everyone is playing down this deck. Give it to me, and give it to me for CHEAP! I have been so hyped to play Sunavalon since it was introduced in VRAINS. I don't care about how competively viable it is, I just want to protect my mother tree. Now if Konami could get up and print Armatos Legio, Stromrider, and G-Golem, that'd be GREAT!
I've never watched Vrains but I've been in love with Plant Monsters for years, I currently have a not so meta but personal favorite deck mixing Aromages and Rikkas and I'm super hyped looking at these cards. A no-search-required method of healing and another chance to activate healing Aroma effects on my opponent's turn sounds heavenly.
We had more than once archetypes with normal monsters on the top tier. This archetype has so many openers, have built in targeting protection, has backrow protection, access to any floodgate, a dark ruler during opponents turn and im pretty sure a insane grind game. And i would not underestimate the healing effects. A board full with sunavalons can get pretty discusting, because you need to negate them first to even deal any damage. I see problems, going second and i see problems with board wipers like nibiru and friends. Funny enough, plants are still almost on full power with cards you cant powercreep. (Lonefire, Miracle Fertilizer, Mark of the Rose, Super Solar Nutrient and soon enough white Rose Cloister.)
I think people are a bit too hard on Gardna and Healer. They are tools in the box, Gardna is designed to stop you from being overwhelm by an opponent's big board and Healer to is make sure you have enough life points to tank your opponent's attacks. Yes, focusing on the battle phase is an inherent restriction, but that's what the spell/trap lineup is for, Gardna and Healer are just supposed to make sure the decks inherent play style is possible.
Healer is straight up awful and should never be run. Gardna is okay as a 1-of because sometimes Thrasher spam doesn't work out the way you hope it will and you need the BP control.
@@so0meone What about Healer's synergy with Armaseraphy Jasmine? If you gain LP while you control Jasmine then you can search your deck for any plant monster. You can then use Jasmine's effect to tribute Healer to summon another plant type extender from your deck.

The links get the effects when you take any effect damage meaning that combined with humid wind you get to search aromages and immediately gain the life back for more aromages

simple fix for sunseed: sylvans&tri-wight. you could also fit plant synchro stuff in this deck and make nat-beast, among oter things try a predaplant engine with lonefire for even more spam the possibilities are only limited by the amount of plant support there is and even then is technically unlimited if you choose to run naturia pineapple, not recommended but it is there

They should really just errata Dandylion and Level Eater so that they can’t be used for link summons and bring them both back. Level Eater was clearly find before Links. Just slap text that says it cannot be used for a link summon. Same with the Dandy. Just say that the tokens can’t be used and that the tokens don’t get summoned if used for a link summon or something.

So weird as this sounds, this may fit nicely into a sorta janky deck kdea Ive been toying with using giant baseball park, some various normal insects, and naturia sacred tree. It's proven pretty good for synchro, link, and xyz summons so far alongside some fairky tolerable damage output. It has had room for improvement though. This could either end up being anstep in the right direction or a monumental mis-step. Likely the second but never stopped me before.
i wana note add in a double summon rescue rabbit and one of the seeds in hand you get 3 thrshers and bloom so youll have 3 4000 attack monsters and 1 12000 attack monster. and it can bord whipe
This is the deck I have been wanting to make for since Spectre and Sunavalons were showcased and I've never been happier. Now I only wish the same for Payne and his Volcanic support.
By the way this entire deck would have been worse if they still had their anime effects printed. Because dryas up to dryanome along with daphne and Melias can’t be used as link materials the turn they’re summoned. Also for the sunvine links they’re fine because the anime effects were “if there is no sunavalon link monster pointing to this card destroy it”
Sunvine healer can get aromaseraphy jasmines search effect when gains lp. That buffs all plant decks o.o ;) Also gigaplant could have some shenenigans in sunvines sinces its a normal monster has a good effect and supervise is a thing summoning it back
Okay, where is Sunavalon daphine and Melias? I can understand if melias is not there since a 4K 2+ Attacks Monster is broken but daphine is rather an important card in case u ran out of Sunavalon/sunvine cards in your extra deck
I'm 100% sure we'll have more Sunavalon cards in the near future. The deck has only 1 spell and 1 trap, there are lots of cards from the anime that are not printed. My guess is that the next time they'll printed the other 2 Sunavalons and then some of the Spells and Traps.
Normal Summon Rescue Rabbit, then tribute it for 2 Genius. Use 1 Genius to Link Summon Dryus, and search Sanctuary. Revive Genius, using it and Dryus to summon Aromaseraphy Jasmine. Tribute your remaining Genius for any Plant monster you want.
Personally I think maiden has the biggest potential out of them all. Sure she doesn't have any attack or defense. But since hand traps are all the rage. And she can be used for any summoning method. That to me makes her the best out of them all. This is my own opinion.
This archetype feels like its just gonna be Diet Plant Link with stuff like the Predaplants, Aromaseraphy Jasmine, Lonefire Blossom, maybe Gigaplant facilitating link climbs, except instead of abusing Dandylion to end on a Knightmare extra link and live Tri-Gate you're just making a plant version of Spyral Sleeper and Goyo Guardian with a searchable skill drain. Not terrible given some of the generic plant support we've got but it doesn't exactly look meta-defining.
Well, the direct battle damage doesn't 'really' matter, considering the first 3 trees let you regain that damage, basically, up to their link rating each turn. Healer's little gains are irrelevant.
@@jofx4051 that tree sure helps, but im just absorbed on how snapping the trees with applicable removal, which they lack anti-targeting as well, sends this whole thing tumbling down.

That's true, but the usual combo with the Link 1 and 4 Sunavalons can search 1 Sunavalon and 1 Sunvine card, so it doesn't matter that much.

Psy frames depend on driver which is a normal monster, and they’re a reasonably good archetype.
So weird as this sounds, this may fit nicely into a sorta janky deck kdea Ive been toying with using giant baseball park, some various normal insects, and naturia sacred tree. It's proven pretty good for synchro, link, and xyz summons so far alongside some fairky tolerable damage output. It has had room for improvement though. This could either end up being anstep in the right direction or a monumental mis-step. Likely the second but never stopped me before.

We are extremely lucky that vanilla's are so easy to get out the deck.
I think Dryas being a link 1 that searches any of their spell/traps is the only thing stopping this archetype from being dead on arrival
I guess Spirit Barrier can help with those Direct Attacks to be 0. Since the deck is technically control.
This is the deck I have been wanting to make for since Spectre and Sunavalons were showcased and I've never been happier. Now I only wish the same for Payne and his Volcanic support.

By the way this entire deck would have been worse if they still had their anime effects printed. Because dryas up to dryanome along with daphne and Melias can’t be used as link materials the turn they’re summoned.
Also for the sunvine links they’re fine because the anime effects were “if there is no sunavalon link monster pointing to this card destroy it”
Sunvine healer can get aromaseraphy jasmines search effect when gains lp. That buffs all plant decks o.o ;)
Also gigaplant could have some shenenigans in sunvines sinces its a normal monster has a good effect and supervise is a thing summoning it back

Okay, where is Sunavalon daphine and Melias? I can understand if melias is not there since a 4K 2+ Attacks Monster is broken but daphine is rather an important card in case u ran out of Sunavalon/sunvine cards in your extra deck
I'm 100% sure we'll have more Sunavalon cards in the near future. The deck has only 1 spell and 1 trap, there are lots of cards from the anime that are not printed.
My guess is that the next time they'll printed the other 2 Sunavalons and then some of the Spells and Traps.

The link 1 tree is the only one I want for my predaplant/rikka deck to replace linkuriboh for jasmine plays
Not counting playmaker cuz his attribute is all over the place we have 3 out of the 6 lost incident decks. All thats left is windy and lightning
Normal Summon Rescue Rabbit, then tribute it for 2 Genius. Use 1 Genius to Link Summon Dryus, and search Sanctuary. Revive Genius, using it and Dryus to summon Aromaseraphy Jasmine. Tribute your remaining Genius for any Plant monster you want.
They made another tree archetype instead of just printing new sylvan support?
Personally I think maiden has the biggest potential out of them all. Sure she doesn't have any attack or defense. But since hand traps are all the rage. And she can be used for any summoning method.
That to me makes her the best out of them all. This is my own opinion.

This archetype feels like its just gonna be Diet Plant Link with stuff like the Predaplants, Aromaseraphy Jasmine, Lonefire Blossom, maybe Gigaplant facilitating link climbs, except instead of abusing Dandylion to end on a Knightmare extra link and live Tri-Gate you're just making a plant version of Spyral Sleeper and Goyo Guardian with a searchable skill drain. Not terrible given some of the generic plant support we've got but it doesn't exactly look meta-defining.
I thought you can use tokens to summon those link 1s, like he did in the anime
Well, the direct battle damage doesn't 'really' matter, considering the first 3 trees let you regain that damage, basically, up to their link rating each turn. Healer's little gains are irrelevant.
very much worried about this deck insofar as the trees need to be protected, but beyond that... pretty neat!

@@jofx4051 that tree sure helps, but im just absorbed on how snapping the trees with applicable removal, which they lack anti-targeting as well, sends this whole thing tumbling down.
