Hey Y'all, I first started UA-cam for my love of food. I am sure y’all mostly know me from my first channel (Max McFarlin), but this channel is for people who want to see more. This will have hotels, daily life, encounters, and of course, even more food.

Are you kidding me?!? It's only $20 for that amazing room with the monastic stairs? Take my damn money now! Holy cow, you guys found a great place. I love how all the stairs and such in all the hotels were built into the mountains like that. It's so natural looking and cool. But that last one, if you have any luggage, you're screwed. But holy cow, for that price, experience and view? I'd do it it a heartbeat! I've paid way way WAY more in the US for crappy rooms!

actually the price is around $45-50 (1 Million VND), and Max was saying that this price is around $20 more expensive than the other hotels in the city, which was around $30 (600k VND). Still, I would pay $50 for that view though!

Hi guys I liked the format of the new channel. I have laughed with the window of the room and Maxx with a room with a view of the sea, thank goodness that it does not have stairs to reach it, about 500 steps !!😂

I went to that mountain view place like 2/3 years ago, it was pretty different back then. The top part wasn't finished at all. Looks good now.

I think a road trip in ant country is so cool. You truly get to experience the people and the culture..amazing adventures for you and Chris..thank you for sharing..why do you need to give the hotel your passport? Aren't you scared they will take it?
It's a requirement just like showing a hotel clerk your picture identification card or driver's license and a credit card in the States. Credit cards are not widely used in VN so they usually keep your passport as security deposit.

yeah, I am with you. I don't like the smell of mold. I don't care if it is cheap but the smell of mold that is a no no for me. Chris gets out of there.
I can't believe I'm sitting down watching your Vlogs like it's a movie lol. It's entertaining! Btw, why don't you just book hotels online ahead of time? It's usually cheaper imo and you can look at pics and reviews before going there. But then again, you won't get these types of interactions that makes the videos so interesting. It's also nice to see what kind of hotels are available

Yeah, many resorts in Cuba have the same problem. Equatorial tropical environments really get mouldy. Heat and humidity.

Do you stop at a bank usually to replenish your money supply? Do most hotels take credit card in your travels thus far?
I stop at ATM and not really they will say it is broken because they want cash.
ultimate transportation trip challenge, just plot your way: train, bus, ferry, canoe boat, junkard, aeroplane, car, moto, pedicab...parasailing on the ocean to end your trip. don't forget to catch the ferry, it's worth it on the big rivers.
