Thank you everyone for watching! Here's another reunion video I made: ua-cam.com/video/fUaRk3NmwlE/v-deo.html Michael's other missing brother: ua-cam.com/video/BHG62GT83DE/v-deo.html
Kyle. My friend from way back college days. was born in North Africa. He hasn't been back. To see his family for over 52 or so years. Do know any organization who help ppl. In that region. His lives in the USA.
Love the work you did on search and discovery, family story and video production- very cool! Thank you! Loved it "Google was wrong- I should've asked Jeeves instead😅" #ScaryMickeyMouse 13:40 Best part: seeing brothers smiling at each other over video chat 😊
That cleaning lady that pointed you in the right direction has a heart of gold. She cried when she found out you finally found the people you were looking for and it just shows that genuine compassion in her.
At first, I thought that hotel was not very clean and a poor choice. But it led you to that super sweet cleaning lady who introduced you to the right person... the one who identified the 0 as an address not on the street, but in an alley. Anyway, it was all meant to be. The Universe always knows best and guided you to that hotel. So happy for that family!!!! Good job, Kyle!!!!! And the cleaning lady is SO sweet!!!!
@@matasa7463 It looked pretty clean to me but the cleaning lady helping guests on their missions might excuse any dirt seen, she's busy saving the world.
I came to Vietnam as a 19 year old 50 years ago. I have lived here fulltime for the past 20 years and have a large extended Vietnamese family. Your video has reminded me of why I love this place so much. Looking forward to more of your work Kyle.
I did almost the same thing with Greece and Turkey - a good half of my life was spent there and if not for really messy politics and economy of late, I’d probably still be there. Vietnam has also been fascinating to me for a very long time. I’m not so young now but I’m finally getting ready to go. Sometimes I wish I could have another lifetime, because really becoming intimately familiar with a place takes a long, long time.
Kyle, when you're done doing travel vlogs, I can see you during investigative work tracking down lost relatives in Viet Nam. That in itself is worth watching your channel for!
This is exactly what he's doing in this video. What are you talking about. This is video is showing him doing investigative work while also showing his travel experience.
Like fine wine, your videos get better and better. Your super power gift clearly is to find missing persons. All the best to the family and your next endeavor.
Nice Video Kyle, my wife is coming from Bac lieu too. So i was surprised that you looking for someone in Bac lieu and this gives me a good memory in the past when i was meeting her.
I can’t wait for my trip in October. Love these videos. I commend everyone involved in these type of videos, especially yourself @kyleLe I don’t think I’d be brave enough to share. I still get anxiety thinking of my upcoming trip.
Kyle, I've been subscribed for a long time now and I have to say these types of videos are so awesome to watch. I think someone was cutting onions while I was watching it. Keep up the good work. FIGHT ON!
Great job. Looking forward to seeing the reunion. The lady who owns the gold shop seems hilarious and probably has an interesting story. You should dig more into it. She seems like good content.
Love VietNam, 🇻🇳 the people are wonderful, kind and thoughtful in their help to visitors. My first visit in 1969 was on active service. I have since returned twice and will go back again, lovely country, incredible scenery and importantly for me their sense of forgiveness for those who fought against their reunification and which is of help with my PTSD. We have a large, I believe something like 18% Vietnamese / Australian population. It's a little like the UK talking to people, many have family who came to us as "Boat People " immigrants in the 1970s 🇦🇺 they have readily adapted to our society and contributed to us. Our State Governor is a Vietnamese. Incidentally, it is not an expensive place to visit like First World nations and the food is (tho' I hate the expression), "is to die for". I am 82 and will go back as frequently as the purse permits. 🇻🇳 Only incongruous note is that the citizens who worked for the Allies who fought there, and those citizens who served in their armed forces with those allies ( apparently even because they were drafted under duress ) are in a poor position as their families may not be employed in any government position for 5 GENERATIONS. I thought the whole war was about reconciliation even after "re-education" so that seems to be a bit tough.....however that is their affair not mine. Love 🇻🇳 the country.
Kyle . That was a terrific job ! You're a great guy ! Oh, you must show us the food. That is an integral part of seeing different lands. Keep the videos coming. Trinidad &Tobago. West Indies.
@@kyleledotnet As a young man growing up, the biggest item at the time, unfortunately was the war that was going on there. Since then, this country has always piqued my interest. Of course it would have been a monumental cost to get there, and then the country would have been on the long hard road to recovery. But the internet did wonders, and your vlogs opened up a wealth of knowledge of the country I loved. Now, I am 67 and will not be able to realize my dream, but you have realized it for me. The way you have touched the lives of persons in the Viet Diaspora is highly remarkable. I know there is something self-fulfilling for you too. Yes, to put your finger on your origins. I am of Indian ancestry, and yes I would have liked to know of the places my forefathers came from, but being born and grown up here in Trinidad has given me the opportunity to be among a culture of diverse races where we can mix freely. This is what makes our country unique Kyle. Just remember that one of the most important things in the fulfillment of your life is respecting others and not encroaching on their rights. You are doing a wonderful service in reuniting long lost relatives. Awesome work. Love the heart warming, emotional moment when they spoke or met for the first time after so many years. Put it aside the fee that u need to receive in doing very difficult fact finding missions to locate them, best of luck in your service to humanity...
I went digging in the internet to find the name of that fruit because you never mention it; for those who don’t know, it’s called “Longan” which apparently means dragon’s eye? They way you describe the taste and the look of it sounds just like Spanish Limes which in Puerto Rico we call “quenepas”. I found out they’re both part of the “soapberry” family.
My father is Viet and my mother is caucasian. My father was in the war and came to the US - however, he nor any of my other Viet family talk about home. I hope one day to visit Vietnam and learn more about my ancestors history.
