I honestly feel like this game could have benefited greatly from not taking place over a single night. The gimmick of each game taking place over one night was already starting to show problems with Arkham City, but it really hurt this game's story IMO. Especially since Spider-Man PS4 let itself take place over a couple of weeks and managed to balance three main villains a lot better than this game did. I'd also love to see a Batman game make better use of the Bat Family, I too was hoping for full on mini campaigns for the other characters, especially Nightwing. Ah well, I've still played this more times than I can count, same as the other Arkham games.
The Arkham Knight being Jason is obvious to the player, but as far as the Bat Family is concerned he's presumed dead with no body. Batman could extrapolate Todd got dumped in to a Lazarus pit, but it's something he can't focus on with the grief he's experiencing in the wake of the Jokers death, Scarecrow's threats, and now his own Joker infection.
If they had done something like that then it would have been an easier pill to swallow that the World's Greatest Detective couldn't figure out the Arkham Knight's identity.
"The Arkham Knight being Jason is obvious to the player, but" That's all that matters. If something - especially some twist - is obvious to the viewer, then how it's received by the fictional characters is irrelevant. That's just a bad writing move.
@@DerrickUltima Not necessarily. If it's clear that the player is expected to know and given knowledge the characters don't have, it can be a source of dramatic irony and tension. Not the case here, but it can be done.
Highly recommend replaying this with Season of Infamy DLC. Those missions are not very Batmobile centric so it helps pace and balance the gameplay better while doing a main game playthrough.
I was thinking of doing that when I decide to go another playthrough of the game. I can tell it will make the experience playing the game better and it'll make the game even longer although the game was never short to begin with.
While the story may not have been as strong as the previous entries, man, the gameplay really is far superior. I return to it really often as it really is the best game to make you feel like batman IMO.
arkham knight is in my top 1 game of all time and i know about everything that it did wrong and even bad things in story but at the end i can't even blink when i'm seeing cutscene in this game no matter what it is, no matter how bad it's written it will always be my favorite game
I think it's neat how your channel now has a sort of sub series of videos where you take another look at games that you used to dislike. It's interesting how a person's opinions can change with time, causing them to sometimes discover an inner appreciation for something they didn't know they had.
-Asylum’s gameplay ages with time (still fun. Everything else is still perfect but if you jump from City or Knight to Asylum, you feel the difference) -City came out practically perfect and stays practically perfect. -Knight is the one that gets better and better with time like fine wine. The farther we get away from and forget the marketing’s “AK IS A BRAND NEW VILLAIN, AND JOKER’S DEAD”, the easier it is for us to focus on the positives of the game which it has a lot of.
@@godzillazfriction my bad. No hate. In fact, I liked it but I played Origins back when I was a teenager on ps3. I’m 27 now. I want to replay it but they haven’t remastered this one so I don’t have a way to play it on my ps5 🤷🏻♂️
also can we talk about how good a song "all who follow you" is? like, it plays at the perfect times, such as when batman nearly sacrifices himself to stop ace chemicals from blowing up to nora and victor sharing a touching reunion as they go off and live their last days together, or most powerfully, when batman tells gordon that gotham is safe for the final time. it just... it makes you weep tears for how great a song for a tragic and yet heroic ending for batman.
This was the game I bought my PS4 with, bought it the day after the last day of school and proceeded to play it nonstop for a week, what a summer. You're absolutely correct that this game looked amazing for its time (and still holds up) and I remember just being completely blown away by this game repeatedly. To me this is the best Arkham game no question, the Batmobile sections are a bit weird but the saving grace is that they don't last that long and the Batmobile handles really really well. Can't believe this game is 8 years old, almost a decade.
Arkham Knight is still my favorite game in the series. I've got almost 200 hours in it and I still love it to this day. Replayed both it and City back to back in the last 2 weeks. Yeah it's bosses kinda suck and the Jason Todd reveal + his "redemption" weren't handled too well, but everything else? Love it. The story outside of Jason is great. Scarecrow is a good villain, Batman's battle with his inner fear is very compelling, and Joker is really well used. But above all that, it's just the best gameplay experience in the series. From the combat, to the stealth, to the traversal and the open world. Hell I even like the tank battles. I completely cheesed the Deathstroke fight by hacking another tank and it single handedly melted his health bar. Fuck the NG+ tho. Forcing a higher difficulty is lame. I ain't doing that just for a slightly cooler suit. Especially when I already got better suits like the Asylum, Earth 2 and 70s suits.
The psychological aspect of this game is why it’s my favorite out of the Arkham series. Bringing back Joker as Batman’s inner critic was awesome, and the entire end sequence is one of my favorite in gaming
I don’t think Jason being the Arkham Knight was bad. The story is actually quite sad and you feel a sense of loss throughout this game in my opinion. What’s great is how Bruce finds a way to win in the end despite all of the depressing stuff occurring during the game. The game gave me a sense of hope at least. Even when Batman is revealed to the public, he still finishes the mission.
This game has a passionate art direction while many games before and after, don't. Think about devs complaining at the success of baldur's gate 3, then imagine if everygame had as much care put into it as either this or Bg3.
Even if Jason was obviously the Arkham knight I think it was supposed to be more a surprise for Bruce than for the fans. I love this game and it also has my favorite story of them
To be fair, it makes sense why Batman and Alfred wouldn’t guess who the Arkham knight is as obvious as it is to the audience given as Jason was presumed well.. dead.
This game gave me one of my favourite gaming moments ever. Was sat with a mate playing and Two Face came strolling in. I was on top of a gargoyle being all stealthy. We both was like Oh shit its Two Face boss fight time. Then i jumped down on top of him and smashed his face into the floor one tapping him. i put down the controller n we laughed for like 10 solid minutes 🤣😂
For all its flaws and imperfections, I still feel like this game was an excellent example of the amazing duo that was Kevin Conroy (RIP) and Mark Hamill as Batman and Joker. It may not have been their final performance together in those roles, but they both killed it in their performances and this game felt like a satisfying finale both to the Arkham series and to a version of those characters that stretched back to the animated series from my childhood.
I finally picked up and played this on Steam a few Months back, and I loved it. When they first showed a Clip of the Arkham Knight I knew then and there is was Jason. The issue with Jason is his Story is so well known by anyone who follows the Comics thats its impossible to not Spoil him. The thing is I dont feel it ruined the Story that it had to tell with him. They did a great job showing the Emotional Scars it left on Batman, thus why he was perfect for Scarecrow to use as a Tool of Fear with Batman. It didnt matter if Batman beat the Arkham Knight, because once he found out who he was the damage was done. One thing I loved was that this felt like a Batman who was one step away from becoming the Batman Who Laughed. Honestly I wish that his Origin has been just that, a version of the Arkham Trilogy where he failed and the Joker took over.
Arkham Knight was also the game that made me upgrade to a PS4. I remember scrapping together money and saving as much as I could so that I could pre-order the PS4 bundle that came with Arkham Knight. I remember there was also a special edition PS4 that was silver with a black Batrman silhouette on it and I wanted that, but it was $50 more and I couldn't afford it at the time.
superman: "you will believe a man can fly" batman: "you will believe a man can be beaten to a pulp, electrocuted, run over by a speeding car-tank, shot with rubber bullets, and still be able to walk it off no worse for wear."
I liked AK, the Batmobile, the expanded combat features. My one complaint was the way they wasted Deathstroke. That should have ended up as a rooftop hand to hand battle.
Batman arkham knight was one of the first games I got when I traded in my 360 for an Xbox one. Till this day I still have my original save file 240% even on my series s. Nice feature to have that I no longer even own the physical disk anymore, but the entire game is still there just digital. What a wonderful feature. Currently replaying and streaming the game on twitch on hard mode on a new save file and may do a second Knightmare mode
I felt the that the Arkham knight should have been Talia, they could say ras brought her back and she went mad or something like that would have a connection to an already established character, you could even through us off with the Jason Todd hallucinations then it would have been a real twist and the hallucinations could just be chalked up to the joker screwing with Batman
27:24: I'd generally describe Arkham Knight as "The combat and stealth sides are ridiculously robust and satisfying and could still be the entire game...but they're maybe a third of it, AND this is a narrative trainwreck." And, no, I'm not saying that just because of the Jason Todd reveal being way too obvious. I mean, it is, but, to boil it down to two major questions: 1. Where'd he get the resources for this army of soldiers? And 2. Why is he even doing this if Joker is dead and EVERYONE other than Batman and Gordon thinks Batman killed Joker? The game has no answer! The answers amount to "we need the villain of the game to have an army of soldiers" and "Shut up." And those are pretty big points to treat that dismissively. And as far as how they handled the three big hooks set up by Arkham City's side content? Hush was a pure punchline, Azrael bordered on a punchline and Scarecrow only really matters until Joker gets re-introduced. So, yeah, not great.
Arkham Knight, while not a perfect game, is still an amazing one. Like you said J, Arkham Knight gets a lot right, superb combat, excellent graphics, great voice acting, etc. But what it gets wrong is very apparent. The Batmobile is amazing to drive, but the other stuff about it is so overabundant. And the Jason Todd twist was handled quite poorly. I overall didn't mind Joker's presence in the story but can see why it's a gripe some fans have, especially after the Origins. Plus, it did take away a lot from the villains. Overall, Arkham is a well-made, polished game brimming with content, it just does not hit the same highs established by first two games. As someone who's 100 precented it, I say it's not some big disappointment, it just doesn't stick the landing like it could have.
This is easily one of the greatest video game reviews I have seen yet on UA-cam. J’s Reviews are consistently the best and most underrated reviews on this platform. Great content!!! 💪💪💪
My personal favorite Arkham game. While I do think that City is "better" as a whole, with a better campaign, story, pacing, etc., I still do love the gameplay of Knight more. Even the tank battles. When I treated those like an old-school arcade game, they became a lot more fun, surprisingly enough. One thing I wanna talk about when it comes to the story, though: I don't remember where, but I read/heard somewhere that the Arkham Knight was originally supposed to be Hush, but was then changed to Jason for reasons that I'm not currently aware of. Ever since I discovered that, I have always wondered how the game would've been like had that been the case.
I've had a PS5 since a couple months after they released and yet this game is the best looking I've ever seen; one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played *despite* the excess of Batmobile
I saved up and got the Arkham Knight PS4, and I honestly love this game. I'm actually replaying it right now on my PS5 and, even with its flaws, it's so much fun.
I did a big turn around on this game over the years. At launch on PS4 I was very let down by it and didn't like it but I replayed the goty edition or whatever with all the dlc on PC last year and loved it. The combat is so fun.
I will always chuckle when I see those interviews where the devs talk about how the Arkham Knight is an original new character ….and a few years later DC would actually make an original character called the Arkham Knight with no relation to Jason Todd. And who honestly has a better claim on the name given both a personal connection to the Asylum and they style themselves after an actual Knight, with swords, shields and all that stuff instead of paramilitaries
They really need to. They can do one that takes place after Knight and before SuicideSquad Kill The Justice League depending where the storyline is in that game. Or they can do a Batman Beyond Arkham game.
I didn't get this game at launch but a few months after when my birthday hit I saw gameplay footage for it and immediately went out and bought it that second
16:49 There's Albert King, the final battle with the Arkham Knight, Professor Pyg, Riddler, Killer Croc in Season of Infamy, Black Mask in Red Hood's DLC, and Joker and Harley in A Matter Of Family. I definitely wish there were more standard boss fights, but it's a bit misleading to say there's none.
Another fair review. Honestly I agree with you in regards to not getting too hyped for things. I've had that experience before with other games. Usually I'm just really excited. I also 100% Arkham Knight years ago and honestly I really enjoyed it. It had a couple of miss steps and I remember fighting Deathstroke with the Bat tank and thinking, "Really?" I enjoyed a lot of the Batmobile segments and it was cool to drive around, but the over use of it did bring my enjoyment down a bit. That said, I still remember being blown away by the final mission playing a FPS as Joker and being absolutely terrified of those Batman statues. I also enjoyed the Riddler stuff as well. I still remember the visuals and loving the multifear takedowns. The game was just a ton of fun to play and really in a lot of ways, I think that's what a game should be. It should be equal parts a satisfying story and a fun time to play. I've played many games where the story is very lackluster, but super fun to play and vice versa. When a game just isn't fun to play, that's when I usually put it down and don't return to it unless I'm curious about the ending of the story. But then it's just a chore to sit through just for that. Looking forward to Gotham Knights! I never bothered to play it since friends of mine told me it wasn't good and I have other games on my mind right now
about the poit of batman having lethal weapons on the batmobile, its explained in the game that Joker started influemting his descicions MONTHS before the events, and about the umanned tanks Jason was actually toying with batman and wearing him down
I still remember when I first got a copy of arkham knight. My Dad took me to gamestop and the whole drive home I was staring at the box just imagining how cool it would be. I got motion sickness lmao. Was not disappointed.
The Arkham Knight "bossfight" was such a disappointment. Why even hype up an evil Batman if he's just going to sit in a corner with a sniper rifle while I'm fighting the same damn thugs I've fought for the entire game. Like you don't even hit him, you drain his life bar by..... wrestling over the rifle. Huh?
Agreed, as much as i loved arkham knight, I was real disappointed with the boss fight with the arkham knight, thankfully it didn't ruin anything for me, but still, the main highlight villain on the title, nothing but a joke
Currently replaying the entire series again and I'm probably 74% through with the main story. Better than I remember but still has some shortcomings. In any case, I agree with everything in this video but and I actually love it more than ever.
The problem with Jason is tbe same problem of the Riddler in The Batman. Ultimately both are right but the writers have to make them "go to far," so Batman can be the Hero.
WB Forums users should be able to vouch for me - Something funny about Joker being in Knight was we knew about him being in the game from a leak (iirc someone got copies early) but none of us could have guessed it was a hallucination bit. A lot of people thought he came back - I thought it was Clayface (sad it wasn't)
this game looks better than most games of today, I didn't realized it was basically 10 years old. thats crazy. im currently playing it on pc on all max settings and I get min 70 max 150ish from the benchmark and it looks just awesome and holds up against any game
This game is astounding if you take a close look at it. The story is incredible especially in its peak, the graphics are breathtaking for their time and even in 2023( games like elden ring, Assassin's creed Mirage, and Hogwarts legacy don't have graphics like these), the combat is not challenging but it requires a synchronization and reflexes level. The most controversial thing (maybe the only one too) in this game is the batmobile. At first (before I played the game and in the first 2-3 hours of gameplay) I wasn't really much of a fan but while I was getting through the game I really liked it. Small spoiler alert: The addition of Joker in Batman's head after being exposed to the fear toxin is so amazing. It achieves everything the developers wanted. Has to be in the top 3 of Superhero video games
I remember when I finished Arkham City's story I was a bit sad when I saw what happened to the Joker' at the end and I was afraid I'd never see him in any future Batman Arkham installments, glad I was wrong :)
The only issue I have with Arkham Knight is bringing the Joker back. They seem to think that a Batman game without the Joker wouldn't be popular but I really wish they focused on the other villains, same case for Arkham Origins where I wish they focused on Black Mask instead.
A poorly-written version of a character is not representative of that character's core and general characterization. That's like saying Superman is a murderous dictator because Injustice exists.
I got a GTX 960 for my old PC specifically for this game for my birthday in 2015... Hoo boy good thing I had GTA V to keep my attention around that time as well
I've said it once, I'll say it 1000 more times, the Arkham Knight should have been Hush/Thomas Elliott. He has a mysterious introduction in City and his comic history shows he knows of Bruce's double life. He has the resources to hire a militia, maybe not a small countries entire military force, but a formidable force, sure. Especially if he's been posing as Bruce. Red Hood/Jason Todd could have been a cool side story, within the overall story. Rocksteady really didn't do the story justice. It's still a brilliant game, mechanically and overall it's a fun ride the entire way through. But man it could have been so much better.
That's a terrible idea. Hush was only seen in a optional side quest in AC. Not everyone played it so if Rocksteady went with your hypothetical, they would have to reiterate on Hush's backstory which would render his side quest in AC a waste of time. Where would Hush learn to lead an entire army? His comic history doesn't matter because this is a completely seperate continiuty
Arkham Knight honestly is one of those games that when it first came out it was a bit of a disappointment. But it’s aged well and I find it much better years later. Especially with the lack of good superhero games out rightnow. Other than the insomniac spiderman games.
Dude I guessed it was Jason the moment they announced the Arkham Knight. I simply told myself that there's no way they'd be that lazy/bland. But they were.
I just 100% this game, I still am not too fond of it. It’s gameplay is fluid, but not meant for large groups in harder challenges. None of the Rocksteady games are story masterpieces, but treating Knight like a finale was the biggest blunder, it does not work. They introduce 3 villains with the shortest involvement in the game, and reuse the rest from previous entries.
Despite the Story, you cannot deny that Knight's combat is the absolute PEAK of their system, I'm still finding out new mechanics to this day, like as Red Hood, if you throw a stun grenade at an enemy from a distance and then start tapping the Punch button, he'll start doing a long ranged Beatdown.

I am so tired of the overuse of Jason Todd. He’s an overrated character.
Next you’ll tell me that John Harrison from Star Trek Into Darkness isn’t an original character
His first line of dialogue in-game calling Batman "old man" was a given for anyone remotely familiar with Jason Todd.
The shouldn't have tried to make it a secret. It would've been better if the devs were honest and have the story focus on the drama of Bruce and Jason's relationship.
The game would've benefited from Jason's reveal being in the middle and his gradual interactions with Bruce build up to his redemption.
That might've been an interesting direction. An initial disappointment midway through but it might've paid off better. I always thought Jason's story was good but we just needed more time with him post-reveal.

Highly recommend replaying this with Season of Infamy DLC. Those missions are not very Batmobile centric so it helps pace and balance the gameplay better while doing a main game playthrough.
This was how I initially played the game so never felt the Batmobile hate.
Also, in those missions you get one of the best Mister Freeze moments. Absolutely loved that mission.
I was thinking of doing that when I decide to go another playthrough of the game. I can tell it will make the experience playing the game better and it'll make the game even longer although the game was never short to begin with.
@@Xanthan4711 Its because they threw away all their boss fights for shitty Batmobile encounters, not even interesting vehicle fights
Thank you for this comment! Starting it on my steamdeck today
Arkham knight is still my favorite in the entire series. It’s insane how good the graphics and art style is in this game.
Arkham Knight doesn't have a "complete Heel Turn", he has a Face Turn.
16:18 the Arkham knight said it’s because he wants Batman to put up a fight and he knows that he won’t if there are people inside
I think it's neat how your channel now has a sort of sub series of videos where you take another look at games that you used to dislike. It's interesting how a person's opinions can change with time, causing them to sometimes discover an inner appreciation for something they didn't know they had.
the arkham series is probably the only games i dont put on music or videos in the background
I still enjoy playing Arkham Knight to this day it’s impressive how much the game has improved since asylum.
-Asylum’s gameplay ages with time (still fun. Everything else is still perfect but if you jump from City or Knight to Asylum, you feel the difference)
-City came out practically perfect and stays practically perfect.
-Knight is the one that gets better and better with time like fine wine. The farther we get away from and forget the marketing’s “AK IS A BRAND NEW VILLAIN, AND JOKER’S DEAD”, the easier it is for us to focus on the positives of the game which it has a lot of.
no mention of Origins... great 😐
@@godzillazfriction my bad. No hate. In fact, I liked it but I played Origins back when I was a teenager on ps3. I’m 27 now. I want to replay it but they haven’t remastered this one so I don’t have a way to play it on my ps5 🤷🏻♂️
@BatFRT projection... also, projection.
@BatFRT another also, enough of the informal labelling regard.
also can we talk about how good a song "all who follow you" is? like, it plays at the perfect times, such as when batman nearly sacrifices himself to stop ace chemicals from blowing up to nora and victor sharing a touching reunion as they go off and live their last days together, or most powerfully, when batman tells gordon that gotham is safe for the final time.
it just... it makes you weep tears for how great a song for a tragic and yet heroic ending for batman.
It’s hard to believe Arkham Knight is nearly ten years old. I remember getting this game at launch and loving the hell out of it.
Bro said your parents are dead and I can’t stop laughing 💀💀😂😂
This game still looks way better than most of the games we have today
It truly does.
This game has a passionate art direction while many games before and after, don't. Think about devs complaining at the success of baldur's gate 3, then imagine if everygame had as much care put into it as either this or Bg3.
Batman: _"I Never Kill."_
Arkham Knight Devs: _"In This Game You Do."_
still funny how rocksteady was like, "arkham knight isn't who you think he is heheheh" and he ended up being exactly who we thought he was lmao
Even if Jason was obviously the Arkham knight I think it was supposed to be more a surprise for Bruce than for the fans. I love this game and it also has my favorite story of them
To be fair, it makes sense why Batman and Alfred wouldn’t guess who the Arkham knight is as obvious as it is to the audience given as Jason was presumed well.. dead.
A almost perfect finale to to the Batman Arkham saga(2009 to 2015)🦇
This game gave me one of my favourite gaming moments ever.
I just replayed this game. And it was so much fun. Yeah no boss fights and a lot of bat tank. But the combat and stealth is next level
I remember there was also a special edition PS4 that was silver with a black Batrman silhouette on it and I wanted that, but it was $50 more and I couldn't afford it at the time.
superman: "you will believe a man can fly"
batman: "you will believe a man can be beaten to a pulp, electrocuted, run over by a speeding car-tank, shot with rubber bullets, and still be able to walk it off no worse for wear."
This game is the ultimate batman game. It made me a batman fan
Fucking love this game. My favorite in the series, very closely followed by Asylum, then City. Haven't played origins though
You should definitely play Origins. It has a great story, great new enemy types, and great boss fights. It's a fantastic prequel.
@@RacingSnails64Origins needs a remaster ASAP
My first run of Knight was played in its entirety wearing the Adam West skin. What a time it was.
Waiting for this video felt long especially because I started playing Arkham knight a few days ago
The Arkham series is about Joker and Batman's relationship.
This is easily one of the greatest video game reviews I have seen yet on UA-cam.
J’s Reviews are consistently the best and most underrated reviews on this platform. Great content!!! 💪💪💪
This is the best Batman game. I never wanted to feel like Batman, I just wanted to be able to play as him in a good video game, which this is.
I love your channel man. Keep up the amazing work
My personal favorite Arkham game.
While I do think that City is "better" as a whole, with a better campaign, story, pacing, etc., I still do love the gameplay of Knight more.
Even the tank battles.
When I treated those like an old-school arcade game, they became a lot more fun, surprisingly enough.
One thing I wanna talk about when it comes to the story, though:
I don't remember where, but I read/heard somewhere that the Arkham Knight was originally supposed to be Hush, but was then changed to Jason for reasons that I'm not currently aware of.
Boy oh boy. I own the Arkham Knight batmobile model with remote control for the battle mode. The cancelled series one. Poggers!
I did a big turn around on this game over the years. At launch on PS4 I was very let down by it and didn't like it but I replayed the goty edition or whatever with all the dlc on PC last year and loved it. The combat is so fun.
I will always chuckle when I see those interviews where the devs talk about how the Arkham Knight is an original new character
….and a few years later DC would actually make an original character called the Arkham Knight with no relation to Jason Todd. And who honestly has a better claim on the name given both a personal connection to the Asylum and they style themselves after an actual Knight, with swords, shields and all that stuff instead of paramilitaries
Me personally I love this game I love how joker is always in your head they have to make another Arkham game 🔥🔥🔥
They really need to. They can do one that takes place after Knight and before SuicideSquad Kill The Justice League depending where the storyline is in that game. Or they can do a Batman Beyond Arkham game.
@@AmariMarvelous that will be so sick 🔥🔥
Despite its flaws u can’t lie that Batman Arkham knight gives us an awesome armored batsuit
I didn't get this game at launch but a few months after when my birthday hit I saw gameplay footage for it and immediately went out and bought it that second
i think the rizzler thinking batman isn't actualy bruce wayne is hilarious
still really like the game despite it's flaws
I never bothered to play it since friends of mine told me it wasn't good and I have other games on my mind right now
Jason is actually mentioned in Arkham City on challenge maps when he sees Tim Drake Robin and goes "Didn't I kill you already?"
about the poit of batman having lethal weapons on the batmobile, its explained in the game that Joker started influemting his descicions MONTHS before the events, and about the umanned tanks Jason was actually toying with batman and wearing him down
That combat looks like an absolute joy to play. I'll have to give it a shot when I beat the other Arkham games.
Also, Batman totally doesn't kill.
I wanted to joke about the non-lethal take-downs, but you already got that covered wonderfully. 5 thumbs up.
its been fun watching you grow over the years. i look forward to your videos
Currently replaying the entire series again and I'm probably 74% through with the main story.
Better than I remember but still has some shortcomings. In any case, I agree with everything in this video but and I actually love it more than ever.
12:54, even if you don't like the car at all, that prompt couldn't have been made better
The game woulda perfect to me if the boss fights were like orgins
Being able to wear Keaton's outfit and drive his Batmobile automatically makes this game better than the other two.
10:29
Batman definitely kills people, especially Keaton
A poorly-written version of a character is not representative of that character's core and general characterization.
That's like saying Superman is a murderous dictator because Injustice exists.
No batmobile
No knight straight up redhood
More boss fights
Moderate joker
More scarecrow
With the se story would have been perfect
No batmobile?
Problem is that Hush is not a fighter, unlike Jason, so if he was the AK then his boss fight would have to be highly Bat-tank related.
@@SoyboyPeterI though hush was in Arkhamm knight too? I must be mistaken
@@seva7500 He is, his sidequest is just short. Basically, he tries to take over Wayne's Industries and Batman must stop him.
@@toumabyakuya ok thank you
I was pretty annoyed by the character redesigns. It felt like an Arkham game only in name.
31:20 I’m ready to be this guys therapist he’s gonna need one
Arkham Knight honestly is one of those games that when it first came out it was a bit of a disappointment. But it’s aged well and I find it much better years later. Especially with the lack of good superhero games out rightnow. Other than the insomniac spiderman games.
Personally I really like the batmobile being used for puzzles. It like one of Batman's gadgets
Dude I guessed it was Jason the moment they announced the Arkham Knight. I simply told myself that there's no way they'd be that lazy/bland. But they were.
I just played this game for the first time this month on my PS4 and if I didn’t know it came out in 2015 I would have thought it was a new game.
This game is where the idea for the Batman who laughs came from
great video, J. Grand pappy Leo would be proud
I’m terrified of what this game is going to look like on switch
I knew the switch version was going to be ass
Looking forward to playing this game without out the hype
Who am I kidding I'm still hype
Jason made the tanks unmanned so Batman wouldn’t hold back when fighting the tanks
This is the second best arkham game i always loved it don't know why people didn't
